1 Better|strong="H2896" is the poor|strong="H7326" that walketh|strong="H1980" in his integrity|strong="H8537", than he that is perverse|strong="H6141" in his lips|strong="H8193", and is a fool|strong="H3684".
1 Melhor é o pobre que anda na sua sinceridade do que o perverso de lábios e tolo.
2 Also, that the soul|strong="H5315" be without knowledge|strong="H1847", it is not good|strong="H2896"; and he that hasteth|strong="H0213" with his feet|strong="H7272" sinneth|strong="H2398".
2 Assim também ficar a alma sem conhecimento não é bom; e o que se apressa com seus pés peca.
3 The foolishness|strong="H0200" of man|strong="H0120" perverteth|strong="H5557" his way|strong="H1870": and his heart|strong="H3820" fretteth|strong="H2196" against the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
3 A estultícia do homem perverterá o seu caminho, e o seu coração se irará contra o Senhor .
4 Wealth|strong="H1952" maketh|strong="H3254" many|strong="H7227" friends|strong="H7453"; but the poor|strong="H1800" is separated|strong="H6504" from his neighbour|strong="H7453".
4 As riquezas granjeiam muitos amigos, mas ao pobre o seu próprio amigo o deixa.
5 A false|strong="H8267" witness|strong="H5707" shall not be unpunished|strong="H5352", and he that speaketh|strong="H6315" lies|strong="H3577" shall not escape|strong="H4422".
5 A falsa testemunha não ficará inocente; e o que profere mentiras não escapará.
6 Many|strong="H7227" will intreat|strong="H2470" the favour|strong="H6440" of the prince|strong="H5081": and every man is a friend|strong="H7453" to him|strong="H0376" that giveth gifts|strong="H4976".
6 Muitos suplicam a face do príncipe, e cada um é amigo daquele que dá presentes.
7 All the brethren|strong="H0251" of the poor|strong="H7326" do hate|strong="H8130" him: how much more do his friends|strong="H4828" go far|strong="H7368" from him? he pursueth|strong="H7291" them with words|strong="H0561", yet they are wanting to him.
7 Todos os irmãos do pobre o aborrecem; quanto mais se afastarão dele os seus amigos! Corre após eles com palavras, mas não servem de nada.
8 He that getteth|strong="H7069" wisdom|strong="H3820" loveth|strong="H0157" his own soul|strong="H5315": he that keepeth|strong="H8104" understanding|strong="H8394" shall find|strong="H4672" good|strong="H2896".
8 O que adquire entendimento ama a sua alma; o que conserva a inteligência achará o bem.
9 A false|strong="H8267" witness|strong="H5707" shall not be unpunished|strong="H5352", and he that speaketh|strong="H6315" lies|strong="H3577" shall perish|strong="H0006".
9 A falsa testemunha não ficará impune; e o que profere mentiras perecerá.
10 Delight|strong="H8588" is not seemly|strong="H5000" for a fool|strong="H3684"; much less for a servant|strong="H5650" to have rule|strong="H4910" over princes|strong="H8269".
10 Ao tolo não está bem o deleite; quanto menos ao servo dominar os príncipes!
11 The discretion|strong="H7922" of a man|strong="H0120" deferreth|strong="H0748" his anger|strong="H0639"; and it is his glory|strong="H8597" to pass over|strong="H5674" a transgression|strong="H6588".
11 O entendimento do homem retém a sua ira; e sua glória é passar sobre a transgressão.
12 The king’s|strong="H4428" wrath|strong="H2197" is as the roaring|strong="H5099" of a lion|strong="H3715"; but his favour|strong="H7522" is as dew|strong="H2919" upon the grass|strong="H6212".
12 Como o bramido do filho do leão é a indignação do rei; mas, como o orvalho sobre a erva, é a sua benevolência.
13 A foolish|strong="H3684" son|strong="H1121" is the calamity|strong="H1942" of his father|strong="H0001": and the contentions|strong="H4079" of a wife|strong="H0802" are a continual|strong="H2956" dropping|strong="H1812".
13 Grande miséria é para o pai o filho insensato, e um gotejar contínuo, as contenções da mulher.
14 House|strong="H1004" and riches|strong="H1952" are the inheritance|strong="H5159" of fathers|strong="H0001": and a prudent|strong="H7919" wife|strong="H0802" is from the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
14 A casa e a fazenda são a herança dos pais; mas do Senhor vem a mulher prudente.
15 Slothfulness|strong="H6103" casteth|strong="H5307" into a deep sleep|strong="H8639"; and an idle|strong="H7423" soul|strong="H5315" shall suffer hunger|strong="H7456".
15 A preguiça faz cair em profundo sono, e a alma enganadora padecerá fome.
16 He that keepeth|strong="H8104" the commandment|strong="H4687" keepeth|strong="H8104" his own soul|strong="H5315"; but he that despiseth|strong="H0959" his ways|strong="H1870" shall die|strong="H4191".
16 O que guardar o mandamento guardará a sua alma; mas o que desprezar os seus caminhos morrerá.
17 He that hath pity|strong="H2603" upon the poor|strong="H1800" lendeth|strong="H3867" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; and that which he hath given|strong="H1576" will he pay him again|strong="H7999".
17 Ao Senhor empresta o que se compadece do pobre, e ele lhe pagará o seu benefício.
18 Chasten|strong="H3256" thy son|strong="H1121" while there is|strong="H3426" hope|strong="H8615", and let not thy soul|strong="H5315" spare|strong="H5375" for his crying|strong="H4191".
18 Castiga teu filho enquanto há esperança, mas para o matar não alçarás a tua alma.
19 A man|strong="H1419" of great|strong="H1632" wrath|strong="H2534" shall suffer|strong="H5375" punishment|strong="H6066": for if thou deliver|strong="H5337" him, yet thou must do it again|strong="H3254".
19 Homem de grande ira tem de sofrer o dano; porque, se tu o livrares, virás ainda a fazê-lo novamente.
20 Hear|strong="H8085" counsel|strong="H6098", and receive|strong="H6901" instruction|strong="H4148", that thou mayest be wise|strong="H2449" in thy latter end|strong="H0319".
20 Ouve o conselho e recebe a correção, para que sejas sábio nos teus últimos dias.
21 There are many|strong="H7227" devices|strong="H4284" in a man’s|strong="H0376" heart|strong="H3820"; nevertheless the counsel|strong="H6098" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, that shall stand|strong="H6965".
21 Muitos propósitos há no coração do homem, mas o conselho do Senhor permanecerá.
22 The desire|strong="H8378" of a man|strong="H0120" is his kindness|strong="H2617": and a poor man|strong="H7326" is better|strong="H2896" than|strong="H0376" a liar|strong="H3577".
22 O desejo do homem é a sua beneficência; mas o pobre é melhor do que o mentiroso.
23 The fear|strong="H3374" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* tendeth to life|strong="H2416": and he that hath it shall abide|strong="H3885" satisfied|strong="H7649"; he shall not be visited|strong="H6485" with evil|strong="H7451".
23 O temor do Senhor encaminha para a vida; aquele que o tem ficará satisfeito, e não o visitará mal nenhum.
24 A slothful|strong="H6102" man hideth|strong="H2934" his hand|strong="H3027" in his bosom|strong="H6747", and will not so much as bring|strong="H7725" it to his mouth|strong="H6310" again|strong="H7725".
24 O preguiçoso esconde a mão no seio; enfada-se de a levar à boca.
25 Smite|strong="H5221" a scorner|strong="H3887", and the simple|strong="H6612" will beware|strong="H6191": and reprove|strong="H3198" one that hath understanding|strong="H0995", and he will understand|strong="H0995" knowledge|strong="H1847".
25 Fere o escarnecedor, e o simples tomará aviso; repreende ao sábio, e aprenderá conhecimento.
26 He that wasteth|strong="H7703" his father|strong="H0001", and chaseth away|strong="H1272" his mother|strong="H0517", is a son|strong="H1121" that causeth shame|strong="H0954", and bringeth reproach|strong="H2659".
26 O que aflige a seu pai ou afugenta a sua mãe filho é que envergonha e desonra.
27 Cease|strong="H2308", my son|strong="H1121", to hear|strong="H8085" the instruction|strong="H4148" that causeth to err|strong="H7686" from the words|strong="H0561" of knowledge|strong="H1847".
27 Cessa, filho meu, ouvindo a instrução, de te desviares das palavras do conhecimento.
28 An ungodly|strong="H1100" witness|strong="H5707" scorneth|strong="H3887" judgment|strong="H4941": and the mouth|strong="H6310" of the wicked|strong="H7563" devoureth|strong="H1104" iniquity|strong="H0205".
28 A testemunha de Belial escarnece do juízo, e a boca dos ímpios engole a iniquidade.
29 Judgments|strong="H8201" are prepared|strong="H3559" for scorners|strong="H3887", and stripes|strong="H4112" for the back|strong="H1460" of fools|strong="H3684".
29 Preparados estão os juízos para os escarnecedores e os açoites para as costas dos tolos.
