Oséias 14

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

O Israel|strong="H3478", return|strong="H7725" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430"; for thou hast fallen|strong="H3782" by thine iniquity|strong="H5771".

Take|strong="H3947" with you words|strong="H1697", and turn|strong="H7725" to the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: say|strong="H0559" unto him, Take away|strong="H5375" all iniquity|strong="H5771", and receive|strong="H3947" us graciously|strong="H2896": so will we render|strong="H7999" the calves|strong="H6499" of our lips|strong="H8193".

Asshur|strong="H0804" shall not save|strong="H3467" us; we will not ride|strong="H7392" upon horses|strong="H5483": neither will we say|strong="H0559" any more to the work|strong="H4639" of our hands|strong="H3027", Ye are our gods|strong="H0430": for in thee the fatherless|strong="H3490" findeth mercy|strong="H7355".

I will heal|strong="H7495" their backsliding|strong="H4878", I will love|strong="H0157" them freely|strong="H5071": for mine anger|strong="H0639" is turned away|strong="H7725" from him.

I will be as the dew|strong="H2919" unto Israel|strong="H3478": he shall grow|strong="H6524" as the lily|strong="H7799", and cast forth|strong="H5221" his roots|strong="H8328" as Lebanon|strong="H3844".

His branches|strong="H3127" shall spread|strong="H3212", and his beauty|strong="H1935" shall be as the olive tree|strong="H2132", and his smell|strong="H7381" as Lebanon|strong="H3844".

They that dwell|strong="H3427" under his shadow|strong="H6738" shall return|strong="H7725"; they shall revive|strong="H2421" as the corn|strong="H1715", and grow|strong="H6524" as the vine|strong="H1612": the scent|strong="H2143" thereof shall be as the wine|strong="H3196" of Lebanon|strong="H3844".

Ephraim|strong="H0669" shall say, What have I to do any more with idols|strong="H6091"? I have heard|strong="H6030" him, and observed|strong="H7789" him: I am like a green|strong="H7488" fir tree|strong="H1265". From me is thy fruit|strong="H6529" found|strong="H4672".

Who is wise|strong="H2450", and he shall understand|strong="H0995" these things? prudent|strong="H0995", and he shall know|strong="H3045" them? for the ways|strong="H1870" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* are right|strong="H3477", and the just|strong="H6662" shall walk|strong="H3212" in them: but the transgressors|strong="H6586" shall fall|strong="H3782" therein.
