1 O Senhor Deus disse a Moisés:
2 Speak|strong="H1696" unto the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", and take|strong="H3947" of every one of them a rod|strong="H4294" according to the house|strong="H1004" of their fathers|strong="H0001", of all their princes|strong="H5387" according to the house|strong="H1004" of their fathers|strong="H0001" twelve|strong="H8147" rods|strong="H4294": write|strong="H3789" thou every man’s|strong="H0376" name|strong="H8034" upon his rod|strong="H4294".
2 — Diga aos israelitas que cada um dos chefes de tribo lhe traga um bastão; serão doze bastões ao todo. Escreva o nome de cada chefe no seu próprio bastão
3 And thou shalt write|strong="H3789" Aaron’s|strong="H0175" name|strong="H8034" upon the rod|strong="H4294" of Levi|strong="H3878": for one|strong="H0259" rod|strong="H4294" shall be for the head|strong="H7218" of the house|strong="H1004" of their fathers|strong="H0001".
3 e depois escreva o nome de Arão no bastão que representa a tribo de Levi. Haverá um bastão para cada chefe de tribo.
4 And thou shalt lay them up|strong="H3240" in the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150" before|strong="H6440" the testimony|strong="H5715", where I will meet|strong="H3259" with you.
4 Você colocará os bastões na Tenda Sagrada , em frente da arca da aliança , onde eu me encontro com vocês.
5 And it shall come to pass, that the man’s|strong="H0376" rod|strong="H4294", whom I shall choose|strong="H0977", shall blossom|strong="H6524": and I will make to cease|strong="H7918" from me the murmurings|strong="H8519" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", whereby they murmur|strong="H3885" against you.
5 Aí o bastão do homem que eu escolher vai brotar. Assim farei com que parem as reclamações que esses israelitas fazem contra mim.
6 And Moses|strong="H4872" spake|strong="H1696" unto the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", and every one of their princes|strong="H5387" gave|strong="H5414" him a rod|strong="H4294" apiece, for each prince|strong="H5387" one|strong="H0259", according to their fathers’|strong="H0001" houses|strong="H1004", even twelve|strong="H6240" rods|strong="H4294": and the rod|strong="H4294" of Aaron|strong="H0175" was among|strong="H8432" their rods|strong="H4294".
6 Então Moisés falou com os israelitas, e cada um dos seus chefes lhe deu um bastão, um para cada tribo, doze ao todo. E entre os bastões estava aquele que tinha o nome de Arão.
7 And Moses|strong="H4872" laid up|strong="H3240" the rods|strong="H4294" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* in the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of witness|strong="H5715".
7 Moisés pôs os bastões na Tenda, em frente da arca da aliança de Deus, o Senhor .
8 And it came to pass, that on the morrow|strong="H4283" Moses|strong="H4872" went|strong="H0935" into the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of witness|strong="H5715"; and, behold, the rod|strong="H4294" of Aaron|strong="H0175" for the house|strong="H1004" of Levi|strong="H3878" was budded|strong="H6524", and brought forth|strong="H3318" buds|strong="H6525", and bloomed|strong="H6692" blossoms|strong="H6731", and yielded|strong="H1580" almonds|strong="H8247".
8 No dia seguinte Moisés entrou na Tenda e viu que o bastão com o nome de Arão, que representava a tribo de Levi, havia brotado. E tinha brotos, flores e amêndoas maduras.
9 And Moses|strong="H4872" brought out|strong="H3318" all the rods|strong="H4294" from before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* unto all the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478": and they looked|strong="H7200", and took|strong="H3947" every man|strong="H0376" his rod|strong="H4294".
9 Aí Moisés tirou da presença do Senhor todos os bastões e levou aos israelitas. Eles viram o que havia acontecido, e cada chefe pegou o seu bastão.
10 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872", Bring|strong="H7725" Aaron’s|strong="H0175" rod|strong="H4294" again|strong="H7725" before|strong="H6440" the testimony|strong="H5715", to be kept|strong="H4931" for a token|strong="H0226" against the rebels|strong="H4805"; and thou shalt quite take away|strong="H3615" their murmurings|strong="H8519" from me, that they die|strong="H4191" not.
10 O Senhor Deus disse a Moisés: — Ponha de novo o bastão com o nome de Arão em frente da arca da aliança. Ele ficará ali como um aviso para os israelitas rebeldes. Assim, eles vão parar de reclamar contra mim e não serão mortos.
11 And Moses|strong="H4872" did|strong="H6213" so: as the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* commanded|strong="H6680" him, so did|strong="H6213" he.
11 E Moisés fez como o Senhor havia mandado.
12 And the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" spake|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872", saying|strong="H0559", Behold, we die|strong="H1478", we perish|strong="H0006", we all perish|strong="H0006".
12 Aí o povo de Israel disse a Moisés: — Estamos perdidos! Vamos morrer! Sim, todos nós vamos morrer!
13 Whosoever cometh any thing near|strong="H7131" unto the tabernacle|strong="H4908" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall die|strong="H4191": shall we be consumed|strong="H8552" with dying|strong="H1478"?
13 Aquele que chegar perto da arca do Senhor morrerá! É, sim, todos nós vamos morrer!
