1 Quando se aproximaram de Jerusalém e chegaram a Betfagé e Betânia, perto do monte das Oliveiras, Jesus enviou dois de seus discípulos,

2 dizendo-lhes: "Vão ao povoado que está adiante de vocês; logo que entrarem, encontrarão um jumentinho amarrado, no qual ninguém jamais montou. Desamarrem-no e tragam-no aqui.

3 Se alguém lhes perguntar: ‘Por que vocês estão fazendo isso? ’ digam-lhe: ‘O Senhor precisa dele e logo o devolverá’ ".

4 Eles foram e encontraram um jumentinho, na rua, amarrado a um portão. Enquanto o desamarravam,

6 Os discípulos responderam como Jesus lhes tinha dito, e eles os deixaram ir.
7 And|strong="G2532" they brought|strong="G0071" the colt|strong="G4454" to|strong="G4314" Jesus|strong="G2424", and|strong="G2532" cast|strong="G1911" their|strong="G0846" garments|strong="G2440" on him|strong="G0846"; and|strong="G2532" he sat|strong="G2523" upon|strong="G1909" him|strong="G0846".
7 Trouxeram o jumentinho a Jesus, puseram sobre ele os seus mantos; e Jesus montou.
8 And|strong="G1161" many|strong="G4183" spread|strong="G4766" their|strong="G0846" garments|strong="G2440" in|strong="G1519" the way|strong="G3598": and|strong="G1161" others|strong="G0243" cut down|strong="G2875" branches|strong="G4746" off|strong="G1537" the trees|strong="G1186", and|strong="G2532" strawed|strong="G4766" them in|strong="G1519" the way|strong="G3598".
8 Muitos estenderam seus mantos pelo caminho, outros espalharam ramos que haviam cortado nos campos.

9 Os que iam adiante dele e os que o seguiam gritavam: "Hosana! " "Bendito é o que vem em nome do Senhor! "
10 Blessed|strong="G2127" be the kingdom|strong="G0932" of our|strong="G2257" father|strong="G3962" David|strong="G1138", that|strong="G3588" cometh|strong="G2064" in|strong="G1722" the name|strong="G3686" of the Lord|strong="G2962": Hosanna|strong="G5614" in|strong="G1722" the highest|strong="G5310".
10 "Bendito é o Reino vindouro de nosso pai Davi! " "Hosana nas alturas! "
11 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" entered|strong="G1525" into|strong="G1519" Jerusalem|strong="G2414", and|strong="G2532" into|strong="G1519" the temple|strong="G2411": and when|strong="G2532" he had looked round about upon|strong="G4017" all things|strong="G3956", and now|strong="G2235" the eventide|strong="G3798" was come|strong="G5607", he went out|strong="G1831" unto|strong="G1519" Bethany|strong="G0963" with|strong="G3326" the twelve|strong="G1427".
11 Jesus entrou em Jerusalém e dirigiu-se ao templo. Observou tudo à sua volta e, como já era tarde, foi para Betânia com os Doze.

12 No dia seguinte, quando estavam saindo de Betânia, Jesus teve fome.
13 And|strong="G2532" seeing|strong="G1492" a fig tree|strong="G4808" afar off|strong="G3113" having|strong="G2192" leaves|strong="G5444", he came|strong="G2064", if|strong="G1487" haply|strong="G0686" he might find|strong="G2147" any thing|strong="G5100" thereon|strong="G0846": and when|strong="G2532" he came|strong="G2064" to|strong="G1909" it|strong="G0846", he found|strong="G2147" nothing|strong="G3762" but|strong="G3361" leaves|strong="G5444"; for|strong="G1063" the time|strong="G2540" of figs|strong="G4810" was|strong="G2258" not|strong="G3756" yet.
13 Vendo à distância uma figueira com folhas, foi ver se encontraria nela algum fruto. Aproximando-se dela, nada encontrou, a não ser folhas, porque não era tempo de figos.
14 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" answered|strong="G0611" and said|strong="G2036" unto it|strong="G0846", \+w No man|strong="G3367"\+w* \+w eat|strong="G5315"\+w* \+w fruit|strong="G2590"\+w* \+w of|strong="G1537"\+w* \+w thee|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w hereafter|strong="G3371"\+w* \+w for|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w ever|strong="G0165"\+w*. And|strong="G2532" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101" heard|strong="G0191" it.
14 Então lhe disse: "Ninguém mais coma de seu fruto". E os seus discípulos ouviram-no dizer isso.
15 And|strong="G2532" they come|strong="G2064" to|strong="G1519" Jerusalem|strong="G2414": and|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" went|strong="G1525" into|strong="G1519" the temple|strong="G2411", and began|strong="G0756" to cast out|strong="G1544" them that|strong="G3588" sold|strong="G4453" and|strong="G2532" bought|strong="G0059" in|strong="G1722" the temple|strong="G2411", and|strong="G2532" overthrew|strong="G2690" the tables|strong="G5132" of the moneychangers|strong="G2855", and|strong="G2532" the seats|strong="G2515" of them that|strong="G3588" sold|strong="G4453" doves|strong="G4058";
15 Chegando a Jerusalém, Jesus entrou no templo e ali começou a expulsar os que estavam comprando e vendendo. Derrubou as mesas dos cambistas e as cadeiras dos que vendiam pombas
16 And|strong="G2532" would|strong="G0863" not|strong="G3756" suffer|strong="G0863" that|strong="G2443" any man|strong="G5100" should carry|strong="G1308" any vessel|strong="G4632" through|strong="G1223" the temple|strong="G2411".
16 e não permitia que ninguém carregasse mercadorias pelo templo.
17 And|strong="G2532" he taught|strong="G1321", saying|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Is it|strong="G1125"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w written|strong="G1125"\+w*, \+w My|strong="G3450"\+w* \+w house|strong="G3624"\+w* \+w shall be called|strong="G2564"\+w* \+w of all|strong="G3956"\+w* \+w nations|strong="G1484"\+w* \+w the house|strong="G3624"\+w* \+w of prayer|strong="G4335"\+w*? \+w but|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w ye|strong="G5210"\+w* \+w have made|strong="G4160"\+w* \+w it|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w a den|strong="G4693"\+w* \+w of thieves|strong="G3027"\+w*.
17 E os ensinava, dizendo: "Não está escrito: ‘A minha casa será chamada casa de oração para todos os povos’? Mas vocês fizeram dela um covil de ladrões".
18 And|strong="G2532" the scribes|strong="G1122" and|strong="G2532" chief priests|strong="G0749" heard|strong="G0191" it, and|strong="G2532" sought|strong="G2212" how|strong="G4459" they might destroy|strong="G0622" him|strong="G0846": for|strong="G1063" they feared|strong="G5399" him|strong="G0846", because|strong="G3754" all|strong="G3956" the people|strong="G3793" was astonished|strong="G1605" at|strong="G1909" his|strong="G0846" doctrine|strong="G1322".
18 Os chefes dos sacerdotes e os mestres da lei ouviram essas palavras e começaram a procurar uma forma de matá-lo, pois o temiam, visto que toda a multidão estava maravilhada com o seu ensino.
19 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G3753" even|strong="G3796" was come|strong="G1096", he went|strong="G1607" out of|strong="G1854" the city|strong="G4172".
19 Ao cair da tarde, eles saíram da cidade.
20 And|strong="G2532" in the morning|strong="G4404", as they passed by|strong="G3899", they saw|strong="G1492" the fig tree|strong="G4808" dried up|strong="G3583" from|strong="G1537" the roots|strong="G4491".
20 De manhã, ao passarem, viram a figueira seca desde as raízes.
21 And|strong="G2532" Peter|strong="G4074" calling to remembrance|strong="G0363" saith|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", Master|strong="G4461", behold|strong="G1492", the fig tree|strong="G4808" which|strong="G3739" thou cursedst|strong="G2672" is withered away|strong="G3583".
21 Lembrando-se Pedro, disse a Jesus: "Mestre! Vê! A figueira que amaldiçoaste secou! "
22 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" answering|strong="G0611" saith|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Have|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w faith|strong="G4102"\+w* \+w in God|strong="G2316"\+w*.
22 Respondeu Jesus: "Tenham fé em Deus.
23 \+w For|strong="G1063"\+w* \+w verily|strong="G0281"\+w* \+w I say|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w unto you|strong="G5213"\+w*, \+w That|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w whosoever|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w shall say|strong="G2036"\+w* \+w unto this|strong="G5129"\+w* \+w mountain|strong="G3735"\+w*, \+w Be thou removed|strong="G0142"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w be thou cast|strong="G0906"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w the sea|strong="G2281"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w shall|strong="G1252"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w doubt|strong="G1252"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w heart|strong="G2588"\+w*, \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w shall believe|strong="G4100"\+w* \+w that|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w those things which|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w he|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w saith|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w shall come to pass|strong="G1096"\+w*; \+w he shall have|strong="G2071"\+w* \+w whatsoever|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w he saith|strong="G2036"\+w*.
23 Eu lhes asseguro que se alguém disser a este monte: ‘Levante-se e atire-se no mar’, e não duvidar em seu coração, mas crer que acontecerá o que diz, assim lhe será feito.
24 \+w Therefore|strong="G1223"\+w* \+w I say|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w unto you|strong="G5213"\+w*, \+w What things soever|strong="G3956"\+w* \+w ye desire|strong="G0154"\+w*, \+w when ye pray|strong="G4336"\+w*, \+w believe|strong="G4100"\+w* \+w that|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w ye receive|strong="G2983"\+w* \+add them\+add*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w ye|strong="G5213"\+w* \+w shall have|strong="G2071"\+w* \+add them\+add*.
24 Portanto, eu lhes digo: tudo o que vocês pedirem em oração, creiam que já o receberam, e assim lhes sucederá.
25 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w when|strong="G3752"\+w* \+w ye stand|strong="G4739"\+w* \+w praying|strong="G4336"\+w*, \+w forgive|strong="G0863"\+w*, \+w if|strong="G1487"\+w* \+w ye have|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w ought|strong="G5100"\+w* \+w against|strong="G2596"\+w* \+w any|strong="G5100"\+w*: \+w that|strong="G2443"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w Father|strong="G3962"\+w* \+w also|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w which is|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w heaven|strong="G3772"\+w* \+w may forgive|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5213"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w trespasses|strong="G3900"\+w*.
25 E quando estiverem orando, se tiverem alguma coisa contra alguém, perdoem-no, para que também o Pai celestial lhes perdoe os seus pecados".
26 \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w if|strong="G1487"\+w* \+w ye|strong="G5210"\+w* \+w do|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w forgive|strong="G0863"\+w*, \+w neither|strong="G3761"\+w* \+w will|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w Father|strong="G3962"\+w* \+w which is|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w heaven|strong="G3772"\+w* \+w forgive|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w trespasses|strong="G3900"\+w*.
26 Mas se vocês não perdoarem, também o seu Pai que está no céu não perdoará os seus pecados.
27 And|strong="G2532" they come|strong="G2064" again|strong="G3825" to|strong="G1519" Jerusalem|strong="G2414": and|strong="G2532" as he|strong="G0846" was walking|strong="G4043" in|strong="G1722" the temple|strong="G2411", there come|strong="G2064" to|strong="G4314" him|strong="G0846" the chief priests|strong="G0749", and|strong="G2532" the scribes|strong="G1122", and|strong="G2532" the elders|strong="G4245",
27 Chegaram novamente a Jerusalém e, quando Jesus estava passando pelo templo, aproximaram-se dele os chefes dos sacerdotes, os mestres da lei e os líderes religiosos e perguntaram.
28 And|strong="G2532" say|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", By|strong="G1722" what|strong="G4169" authority|strong="G1849" doest thou|strong="G4160" these things|strong="G5023"? and|strong="G2532" who|strong="G5101" gave|strong="G1325" thee|strong="G4671" this|strong="G3778" authority|strong="G1849" to|strong="G2443" do|strong="G4160" these things|strong="G5023"?
28 "Com que autoridade estás fazendo estas coisas? Quem te deu autoridade para fazê-las? "
29 And|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G2424" answered|strong="G0611" and said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w I will|strong="G1905"\+w* \+w also|strong="G2504"\+w* \+w ask|strong="G1905"\+w* \+w of you|strong="G5209"\+w* \+w one|strong="G1520"\+w* \+w question|strong="G3056"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w answer|strong="G0611"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3427"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w I will tell|strong="G2046"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5213"\+w* \+w by|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w what|strong="G4169"\+w* \+w authority|strong="G1849"\+w* \+w I do|strong="G4160"\+w* \+w these things|strong="G5023"\+w*.
29 Respondeu Jesus: "Eu lhes farei uma pergunta. Respondam-me, e eu lhes direi com que autoridade estou fazendo estas coisas.
30 \+w The baptism|strong="G0908"\+w* \+w of John|strong="G2491"\+w*, \+w was|strong="G2258"\+w* \+add it\+add* \+w from|strong="G1537"\+w* \+w heaven|strong="G3772"\+w*, \+w or|strong="G2228"\+w* \+w of|strong="G1537"\+w* \+w men|strong="G0444"\+w*? \+w answer|strong="G0611"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3427"\+w*.
30 O batismo de João era do céu ou dos homens? Digam-me! "
31 And|strong="G2532" they reasoned|strong="G3049" with|strong="G4314" themselves|strong="G1438", saying|strong="G3004", If|strong="G1437" we shall say|strong="G2036", From|strong="G1537" heaven|strong="G3772"; he will say|strong="G2046", Why|strong="G5101" then|strong="G3767" did ye|strong="G4100" not|strong="G3756" believe|strong="G4100" him|strong="G0846"?
31 Eles discutiam entre si, dizendo: "Se dissermos: ‘do céu’, ele perguntará: ‘Então por que vocês não creram nele? ’
32 But|strong="G0235" if|strong="G1437" we shall say|strong="G2036", Of|strong="G1537" men|strong="G0444"; they feared|strong="G5399" the people|strong="G2992": for|strong="G1063" all|strong="G0537" men counted|strong="G2192" John|strong="G2491", that|strong="G3754" he was|strong="G2258" a prophet|strong="G4396" indeed|strong="G3689".
32 Mas se dissermos: ‘dos homens’... " Eles temiam o povo, pois todos realmente consideravam João um profeta.
33 And|strong="G2532" they answered|strong="G0611" and said|strong="G3004" unto Jesus|strong="G2424", We|strong="G1492" cannot|strong="G3756" tell|strong="G1492". And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" answering|strong="G0611" saith|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Neither|strong="G3761"\+w* \+w do I|strong="G1473"\+w* \+w tell|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5213"\+w* \+w by|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w what|strong="G4169"\+w* \+w authority|strong="G1849"\+w* \+w I do|strong="G4160"\+w* \+w these things|strong="G5023"\+w*.
33 Eles responderam a Jesus: "Não sabemos". Disse então Jesus: "Tampouco lhes direi com que autoridade estou fazendo estas coisas".
