A \+add certain\+add* \+w man|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w planted|strong="G5452"\+w* \+w a vineyard|strong="G0290"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w set|strong="G4060"\+w* \+w an hedge about|strong="G5418"\+w* \+add it\+add*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w digged|strong="G3736"\+w* \+add a place for\+add* \+w the winefat|strong="G5276"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w built|strong="G3618"\+w* \+w a tower|strong="G4444"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w let|strong="G1554"\+w* \+w it|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w out|strong="G1554"\+w* \+w to husbandmen|strong="G1092"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w went into a far country|strong="G0589"\+w*.
2 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w at the season|strong="G2540"\+w* \+w he sent|strong="G0649"\+w* \+w to|strong="G4314"\+w* \+w the husbandmen|strong="G1092"\+w* \+w a servant|strong="G1401"\+w*, \+w that|strong="G2443"\+w* \+w he might receive|strong="G2983"\+w* \+w from|strong="G3844"\+w* \+w the husbandmen|strong="G1092"\+w* \+w of|strong="G0575"\+w* \+w the fruit|strong="G2590"\+w* \+w of the vineyard|strong="G0290"\+w*.
3 \+w And|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w they caught|strong="G2983"\+w* \+add him\+add*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w beat|strong="G1194"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w and sent|strong="G0649"\+w* \+add him\+add* \+w away|strong="G0649"\+w* \+w empty|strong="G2756"\+w*.
4 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w again|strong="G3825"\+w* \+w he sent|strong="G0649"\+w* \+w unto|strong="G4314"\+w* \+w them|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w another|strong="G0243"\+w* \+w servant|strong="G1401"\+w*; \+w and at him|strong="G2548"\+w* \+w they cast stones|strong="G3036"\+w*, \+w and wounded|strong="G2775"\+w* \+add him\+add* \+w in the head|strong="G2775"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w sent|strong="G0649"\+w* \+add him\+add* \+w away|strong="G0649"\+w* \+w shamefully handled|strong="G0821"\+w*.
5 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w again|strong="G3825"\+w* \+w he sent|strong="G0649"\+w* \+w another|strong="G0243"\+w*; \+w and him|strong="G2548"\+w* \+w they killed|strong="G0615"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w many|strong="G4183"\+w* \+w others|strong="G0243"\+w*; \+w beating|strong="G1194"\+w* \+w some|strong="G3588"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w killing|strong="G0615"\+w* \+w some|strong="G3588"\+w*.
6 \+w Having|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w yet|strong="G2089"\+w* \+w therefore|strong="G3767"\+w* \+w one|strong="G1520"\+w* \+w son|strong="G5207"\+w*, \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w wellbeloved|strong="G0027"\+w*, \+w he sent|strong="G0649"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w also|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w last|strong="G2078"\+w* \+w unto|strong="G4314"\+w* \+w them|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w saying|strong="G3004"\+w*, \+w They will reverence|strong="G1788"\+w* \+w my|strong="G3450"\+w* \+w son|strong="G5207"\+w*.
7 \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w those|strong="G1565"\+w* \+w husbandmen|strong="G1092"\+w* \+w said|strong="G2036"\+w* \+w among|strong="G4314"\+w* \+w themselves|strong="G1438"\+w*, \+w This|strong="G3778"\+w* \+w is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w the heir|strong="G2818"\+w*; \+w come|strong="G1205"\+w*, \+w let us kill|strong="G0615"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the inheritance|strong="G2817"\+w* \+w shall be|strong="G2071"\+w* \+w ours|strong="G2257"\+w*.
8 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w they took|strong="G2983"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w and killed|strong="G0615"\+w* \+add him\+add*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w cast|strong="G1544"\+w* \+add him\+add* \+w out of|strong="G1854"\+w* \+w the vineyard|strong="G0290"\+w*.
9 \+w What|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w shall|strong="G2962"\+w* \+w therefore|strong="G3767"\+w* \+w the lord|strong="G2962"\+w* \+w of the vineyard|strong="G0290"\+w* \+w do|strong="G4160"\+w*? \+w he will come|strong="G2064"\+w* \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w destroy|strong="G0622"\+w* \+w the husbandmen|strong="G1092"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w will give|strong="G1325"\+w* \+w the vineyard|strong="G0290"\+w* \+w unto others|strong="G0243"\+w*.
10 \+w And have ye|strong="G0314"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3761"\+w* \+w read|strong="G0314"\+w* \+w this|strong="G3778"\+w* \+w scripture|strong="G1124"\+w*; \+w The stone|strong="G3037"\+w* \+w which|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w the builders|strong="G3618"\+w* \+w rejected|strong="G0593"\+w* \+w is|strong="G3778"\+w* \+w become|strong="G1096"\+w* \+w the head|strong="G2776"\+w* \+w of the corner|strong="G1137"\+w*:
11 \+w This|strong="G3778"\+w* \+w was|strong="G3844"\+w* \+w the Lord’s|strong="G2962"\+w* \+w doing|strong="G1096"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w it is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w marvellous|strong="G2298"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w our|strong="G2257"\+w* \+w eyes|strong="G3788"\+w*?
12 And|strong="G2532" they sought|strong="G2212" to lay hold|strong="G2902" on him|strong="G0846", but|strong="G2532" feared|strong="G5399" the people|strong="G3793": for|strong="G1063" they knew|strong="G1097" that|strong="G3754" he had spoken|strong="G2036" the parable|strong="G3850" against|strong="G4314" them|strong="G0846": and they left|strong="G0863" him|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" went their way|strong="G0565".
13 And|strong="G2532" they send|strong="G0649" unto|strong="G4314" him|strong="G0846" certain|strong="G5100" of the Pharisees|strong="G5330" and|strong="G2532" of the Herodians|strong="G2265", to|strong="G2443" catch|strong="G0064" him|strong="G0846" in|strong="G3056" his words|strong="G3056".
14 And when|strong="G1161" they were come|strong="G2064", they say|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", Master|strong="G1320", we know|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" thou art|strong="G1488" true|strong="G0227", and|strong="G2532" carest|strong="G3199" for|strong="G4012" no man|strong="G3762": for|strong="G1063" thou regardest|strong="G0991" not|strong="G3756" the person|strong="G4383" of men|strong="G0444", but|strong="G0235" teachest|strong="G1321" the way|strong="G3598" of God|strong="G2316" in|strong="G1909" truth|strong="G0225": Is it lawful|strong="G1832" to give|strong="G1325" tribute|strong="G2778" to Cæsar|strong="G2541", or|strong="G2228" not|strong="G3756"?
15 Shall we give|strong="G1325", or|strong="G2228" shall we|strong="G1325" not|strong="G3361" give|strong="G1325"? But|strong="G1161" he|strong="G3588", knowing|strong="G1492" their|strong="G0846" hypocrisy|strong="G5272", said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Why|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w tempt ye|strong="G3985"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3165"\+w*? \+w bring|strong="G5342"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3427"\+w* \+w a penny|strong="G1220"\+w*, \+w that|strong="G2443"\+w* \+w I may see|strong="G1492"\+w* \+add it\+add*.
16 And|strong="G1161" they brought|strong="G5342" it. And|strong="G2532" he saith|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Whose|strong="G5101"\+w* \+add is\+add* \+w this|strong="G3778"\+w* \+w image|strong="G1504"\+w* \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w superscription|strong="G1923"\+w*? And|strong="G1161" they said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", Cæsar’s|strong="G2541".
17 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" answering|strong="G0611" said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Render|strong="G0591"\+w* \+w to Cæsar|strong="G2541"\+w* \+w the things that are|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w Cæsar’s|strong="G2541"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w to God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w the things that are|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w God’s|strong="G2316"\+w*. And|strong="G2532" they marvelled|strong="G2296" at|strong="G1909" him|strong="G0846".
18 Then|strong="G2532" come|strong="G2064" unto|strong="G4314" him|strong="G0846" the Sadducees|strong="G4523", which|strong="G3748" say|strong="G3004" there is|strong="G1511" no|strong="G3361" resurrection|strong="G0386"; and|strong="G2532" they asked|strong="G1905" him|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004",
19 Master|strong="G1320", Moses|strong="G3475" wrote|strong="G1125" unto us|strong="G2254", If|strong="G1437" a man’s|strong="G5100" brother|strong="G0080" die|strong="G0599", and|strong="G2532" leave|strong="G2641" his wife|strong="G1135" behind him, and|strong="G2532" leave|strong="G0863" no|strong="G3361" children|strong="G5043", that|strong="G2443" his|strong="G0846" brother|strong="G0080" should take|strong="G2983" his|strong="G0846" wife|strong="G1135", and|strong="G2532" raise up|strong="G1817" seed|strong="G4690" unto his|strong="G0846" brother|strong="G0080".
20 Now there were|strong="G2258" seven|strong="G2033" brethren|strong="G0080": and|strong="G2532" the first|strong="G4413" took|strong="G2983" a wife|strong="G1135", and|strong="G2532" dying|strong="G0599" left|strong="G0863" no|strong="G3756" seed|strong="G4690".
21 And|strong="G2532" the second|strong="G1208" took|strong="G2983" her|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" died|strong="G0599", neither|strong="G3761" left|strong="G0863" he|strong="G0846" any seed|strong="G4690": and|strong="G2532" the third|strong="G5154" likewise|strong="G5615".
22 And|strong="G2532" the seven|strong="G2033" had|strong="G2983" her|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" left|strong="G0863" no|strong="G3756" seed|strong="G4690": last|strong="G2078" of all|strong="G3956" the woman|strong="G1135" died|strong="G0599" also|strong="G2532".
23 In|strong="G1722" the resurrection|strong="G0386" therefore|strong="G3767", when|strong="G3752" they shall rise|strong="G0450", whose|strong="G5101" wife|strong="G1135" shall she be|strong="G2071" of them|strong="G0846"? for|strong="G1063" the seven|strong="G2033" had|strong="G2192" her|strong="G0846" to wife|strong="G1135".
24 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" answering|strong="G0611" said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Do ye|strong="G4105"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w therefore|strong="G5124"\+w* \+w err|strong="G4105"\+w*, \+w because|strong="G1223"\+w* \+w ye know|strong="G1492"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w the scriptures|strong="G1124"\+w*, \+w neither|strong="G3366"\+w* \+w the power|strong="G1411"\+w* \+w of God|strong="G2316"\+w*?
25 \+w For|strong="G1063"\+w* \+w when|strong="G3752"\+w* \+w they shall rise|strong="G0450"\+w* \+w from|strong="G1537"\+w* \+w the dead|strong="G3498"\+w*, \+w they|strong="G1060"\+w* \+w neither|strong="G3777"\+w* \+w marry|strong="G1060"\+w*, \+w nor|strong="G3777"\+w* \+w are given in marriage|strong="G1061"\+w*; \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w are|strong="G1526"\+w* \+w as|strong="G5613"\+w* \+w the angels|strong="G0032"\+w* \+w which are|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w heaven|strong="G3772"\+w*.
26 \+w And|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w as touching|strong="G4012"\+w* \+w the dead|strong="G3498"\+w*, \+w that|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w they rise|strong="G1453"\+w*: \+w have ye|strong="G0314"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w read|strong="G0314"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w the book|strong="G0976"\+w* \+w of Moses|strong="G3475"\+w*, \+w how|strong="G5613"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w the bush|strong="G0942"\+w* \+w God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w spake|strong="G2036"\+w* \+w unto him|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w saying|strong="G3004"\+w*, \+w I|strong="G1473"\+w* \+add am\+add* \+w the God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w of Abraham|strong="G0011"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w of Isaac|strong="G2464"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w of Jacob|strong="G2384"\+w*?
27 \+w He is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w the God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w of the dead|strong="G3498"\+w*, \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w the God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w of the living|strong="G2198"\+w*: \+w ye|strong="G5210"\+w* \+w therefore|strong="G3767"\+w* \+w do|strong="G4105"\+w* \+w greatly|strong="G4183"\+w* \+w err|strong="G4105"\+w*.

31 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the second|strong="G1208"\+w* \+add is\+add* \+w like|strong="G3664"\+w*, \+add namely\+add* \+w this|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w Thou shalt love|strong="G0025"\+w* \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w neighbour|strong="G4139"\+w* \+w as|strong="G5613"\+w* \+w thyself|strong="G4572"\+w*. \+w There is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w none|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w other|strong="G0243"\+w* \+w commandment|strong="G1785"\+w* \+w greater|strong="G3187"\+w* \+w than these|strong="G5130"\+w*.

34 And|strong="G2532" when Jesus|strong="G2424" saw|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" he answered|strong="G0611" discreetly|strong="G3562", he said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", \+w Thou art|strong="G1488"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w far|strong="G3112"\+w* \+w from|strong="G0575"\+w* \+w the kingdom|strong="G0932"\+w* \+w of God|strong="G2316"\+w*. And|strong="G2532" no man|strong="G3762" after that|strong="G3765" durst|strong="G5111" ask|strong="G1905" him|strong="G0846" any question.

39 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the chief seats|strong="G4410"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w the synagogues|strong="G4864"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the uppermost rooms|strong="G4411"\+w* \+w at|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w feasts|strong="G1173"\+w*:
40 \+w Which|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w devour|strong="G2719"\+w* \+w widows’|strong="G5503"\+w* \+w houses|strong="G3614"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w for a pretence|strong="G4392"\+w* \+w make|strong="G4336"\+w* \+w long|strong="G3117"\+w* \+w prayers|strong="G4336"\+w*: \+w these|strong="G3778"\+w* \+w shall receive|strong="G2983"\+w* \+w greater|strong="G4053"\+w* \+w damnation|strong="G2917"\+w*.
41 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" sat|strong="G2523" over against|strong="G2713" the treasury|strong="G1049", and beheld|strong="G2334" how|strong="G4459" the people|strong="G3793" cast|strong="G0906" money|strong="G5475" into|strong="G1519" the treasury|strong="G1049": and|strong="G2532" many|strong="G4183" that were rich|strong="G4145" cast|strong="G0906" in much|strong="G4183".
42 And|strong="G2532" there came|strong="G2064" a certain|strong="G1520" poor|strong="G4434" widow|strong="G5503", and she threw in|strong="G0906" two|strong="G1417" mites|strong="G3016", which|strong="G3739" make|strong="G2076" a farthing|strong="G2835".
