2 And|strong="G1161" they found|strong="G2147" the stone|strong="G3037" rolled away|strong="G0617" from|strong="G0575" the sepulchre|strong="G3419".
3 And|strong="G2532" they entered in|strong="G1525", and found|strong="G2147" not|strong="G3756" the body|strong="G4983" of the Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424".
4 And|strong="G2532" it came to pass|strong="G1096", as|strong="G1722" they|strong="G0846" were much perplexed|strong="G1280" thereabout|strong="G4012", behold|strong="G2400", two|strong="G1417" men|strong="G0435" stood by|strong="G2186" them|strong="G0846" in|strong="G1722" shining|strong="G0797" garments|strong="G2067":

6 He is|strong="G2076" not|strong="G3756" here|strong="G5602", but|strong="G0235" is risen|strong="G1453": remember|strong="G3415" how|strong="G5613" he spake|strong="G2980" unto you|strong="G5213" when he was|strong="G5607" yet|strong="G2089" in|strong="G1722" Galilee|strong="G1056",
7 Saying|strong="G3004", The Son|strong="G5207" of man|strong="G0444" must|strong="G1163" be delivered|strong="G3860" into|strong="G1519" the hands|strong="G5495" of sinful|strong="G0268" men|strong="G0444", and|strong="G2532" be crucified|strong="G4717", and|strong="G2532" the third|strong="G5154" day|strong="G2250" rise again|strong="G0450".
8 And|strong="G2532" they remembered|strong="G3415" his|strong="G0846" words|strong="G4487",
9 And|strong="G2532" returned|strong="G5290" from|strong="G0575" the sepulchre|strong="G3419", and told|strong="G0518" all|strong="G3956" these things|strong="G5023" unto the eleven|strong="G1733", and|strong="G2532" to all|strong="G3956" the rest|strong="G3062".
10 It was|strong="G2258" Mary|strong="G3137" Magdalene|strong="G3094", and|strong="G2532" Joanna|strong="G2489", and|strong="G2532" Mary|strong="G3137" the mother of James|strong="G2385", and|strong="G2532" other|strong="G3062" women that were with|strong="G4862" them|strong="G0846", which|strong="G3739" told|strong="G3004" these things|strong="G5023" unto|strong="G4314" the apostles|strong="G0652".
11 And|strong="G2532" their|strong="G0846" words|strong="G4487" seemed|strong="G5316" to|strong="G1799" them|strong="G0846" as|strong="G5616" idle tales|strong="G3026", and|strong="G2532" they believed|strong="G0569" them|strong="G0846" not|strong="G0569".

14 And|strong="G2532" they|strong="G0846" talked|strong="G3656" together|strong="G0240" of|strong="G4012" all|strong="G3956" these things|strong="G5130" which|strong="G3588" had happened|strong="G4819".
15 And|strong="G2532" it came to pass|strong="G1096", that, while|strong="G1722" they|strong="G0846" communed|strong="G3656" together and|strong="G2532" reasoned|strong="G4802", Jesus|strong="G2424" himself|strong="G0846" drew near|strong="G1448", and went|strong="G4848" with them|strong="G0846".
16 But|strong="G1161" their|strong="G0846" eyes|strong="G3788" were holden|strong="G2902" that they should|strong="G0846" not|strong="G3361" know|strong="G1921" him|strong="G0846".

18 And|strong="G1161" the one of them|strong="G1520", whose|strong="G3739" name|strong="G3686" was Cleopas|strong="G2810", answering|strong="G0611" said|strong="G2036" unto|strong="G4314" him|strong="G0846", Art|strong="G3939" thou|strong="G4771" only|strong="G3441" a stranger|strong="G3939" in|strong="G1722" Jerusalem|strong="G2419", and|strong="G2532" hast|strong="G1097" not|strong="G3756" known|strong="G1097" the things which|strong="G3588" are come to pass|strong="G1096" there|strong="G0846" in|strong="G1722" these|strong="G3778" days|strong="G2250"?

22 Yea|strong="G0235", and|strong="G2532" certain|strong="G5100" women|strong="G1135" also of|strong="G1537" our company|strong="G2257" made|strong="G1839" us|strong="G2248" astonished|strong="G1839", which were|strong="G1096" early|strong="G3721" at|strong="G1909" the sepulchre|strong="G3419";
23 And|strong="G2532" when they found|strong="G2147" not|strong="G3361" his|strong="G0846" body|strong="G4983", they came|strong="G2064", saying, that|strong="G3004" they had|strong="G3708" also|strong="G2532" seen|strong="G3708" a vision|strong="G3701" of angels|strong="G0032", which|strong="G3739" said|strong="G3004" that he|strong="G0846" was alive|strong="G2198".
24 And|strong="G2532" certain|strong="G5100" of them which were|strong="G3588" with|strong="G4862" us|strong="G2254" went|strong="G0565" to|strong="G1909" the sepulchre|strong="G3419", and|strong="G2532" found|strong="G2147" it even|strong="G2532" so|strong="G3779" as|strong="G2531" the women|strong="G1135" had said|strong="G2036": but|strong="G1161" him|strong="G0846" they saw|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756".

26 \+w Ought|strong="G1163"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3780"\+w* \+w Christ|strong="G5547"\+w* \+w to have suffered|strong="G3958"\+w* \+w these things|strong="G5023"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w to enter|strong="G1525"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w glory|strong="G1391"\+w*?
27 And|strong="G2532" beginning|strong="G0756" at|strong="G0575" Moses|strong="G3475" and|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" the prophets|strong="G4396", he expounded|strong="G1329" unto them|strong="G0846" in|strong="G1722" all|strong="G3956" the scriptures|strong="G1124" the things|strong="G3588" concerning|strong="G4012" himself|strong="G1438".
28 And|strong="G2532" they drew nigh|strong="G1448" unto|strong="G1519" the village|strong="G2968", whither|strong="G3757" they went|strong="G4198": and|strong="G2532" he|strong="G0846" made as though|strong="G4364" he would have gone|strong="G4198" further|strong="G4208".
29 But|strong="G2532" they constrained|strong="G3849" him|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004", Abide|strong="G3306" with|strong="G3326" us|strong="G2257": for|strong="G3754" it is|strong="G2076" toward|strong="G4314" evening|strong="G2073", and|strong="G2532" the day|strong="G2250" is far spent|strong="G2827". And|strong="G2532" he went in|strong="G1525" to tarry|strong="G3306" with|strong="G4862" them|strong="G0846".
30 And|strong="G2532" it came to pass|strong="G1096", as he|strong="G0846" sat at meat|strong="G2625" with|strong="G3326" them|strong="G0846", he took|strong="G2983" bread|strong="G0740", and blessed|strong="G2127" it, and|strong="G2532" brake|strong="G2806", and gave|strong="G1929" to them|strong="G0846".
31 And|strong="G1161" their|strong="G0846" eyes|strong="G3788" were opened|strong="G1272", and|strong="G2532" they knew|strong="G1921" him|strong="G0846"; and|strong="G2532" he|strong="G0846" vanished out|strong="G0855" of|strong="G0575" their|strong="G0846" sight|strong="G0855".
32 And|strong="G2532" they said|strong="G2036" one to|strong="G4314" another|strong="G0240", Did|strong="G2258" not|strong="G3780" our|strong="G2257" heart|strong="G2588" burn|strong="G2545" within|strong="G1722" us|strong="G2254", while|strong="G5613" he talked|strong="G2980" with us|strong="G2254" by|strong="G1722" the way|strong="G3598", and|strong="G2532" while|strong="G5613" he opened|strong="G1272" to us|strong="G2254" the scriptures|strong="G1124"?
33 And|strong="G2532" they rose up|strong="G0450" the same|strong="G0846" hour|strong="G5610", and returned|strong="G5290" to|strong="G1519" Jerusalem|strong="G2419", and|strong="G2532" found|strong="G2147" the eleven|strong="G1733" gathered together|strong="G4867", and|strong="G2532" them that were|strong="G3588" with|strong="G4862" them|strong="G0846",
34 Saying|strong="G3004", The Lord|strong="G2962" is risen|strong="G1453" indeed|strong="G3689", and|strong="G2532" hath appeared|strong="G3700" to Simon|strong="G4613".
35 And|strong="G2532" they|strong="G0846" told|strong="G1834" what things|strong="G3588" were done in|strong="G1722" the way|strong="G3598", and|strong="G2532" how|strong="G5613" he was known|strong="G1097" of them|strong="G0846" in|strong="G1722" breaking|strong="G2800" of bread|strong="G0740".
36 And as|strong="G1161" they|strong="G0846" thus|strong="G5023" spake|strong="G2980", Jesus|strong="G2424" himself|strong="G0846" stood|strong="G2476" in|strong="G1722" the midst|strong="G3319" of them|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" saith|strong="G3004" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Peace|strong="G1515"\+w* \+add be\+add* \+w unto you|strong="G5213"\+w*.
37 But|strong="G1161" they were terrified|strong="G4422" and|strong="G2532" affrighted|strong="G1719", and supposed that|strong="G1380" they had seen|strong="G2334" a spirit|strong="G4151".
38 And|strong="G2532" he said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Why|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w are|strong="G2075"\+w* \+w ye troubled|strong="G5015"\+w*? \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w why|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w do thoughts|strong="G1261"\+w* \+w arise|strong="G0305"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w hearts|strong="G2588"\+w*?

40 And when|strong="G2532" he had|strong="G2036" thus|strong="G5124" spoken|strong="G2036", he shewed|strong="G1925" them|strong="G0846" his hands|strong="G5495" and|strong="G2532" his feet|strong="G4228".
41 And|strong="G1161" while they|strong="G0846" yet|strong="G2089" believed not|strong="G0569" for|strong="G0575" joy|strong="G5479", and|strong="G2532" wondered|strong="G2296", he said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Have ye|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w here|strong="G1759"\+w* \+w any|strong="G5100"\+w* \+w meat|strong="G1034"\+w*?
42 And|strong="G1161" they gave|strong="G1929" him|strong="G0846" a piece|strong="G3313" of a broiled|strong="G3702" fish|strong="G2486", and|strong="G2532" of|strong="G0575" an|strong="G2781" honeycomb|strong="G3193".
43 And|strong="G2532" he took|strong="G2983" it, and did eat|strong="G5315" before|strong="G1799" them|strong="G0846".

45 Then|strong="G5119" opened he|strong="G1272" their|strong="G0846" understanding|strong="G3563", that|strong="G3588" they might understand|strong="G4920" the scriptures|strong="G1124",

48 \+w And|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w ye|strong="G5210"\+w* \+w are|strong="G2075"\+w* \+w witnesses|strong="G3144"\+w* \+w of these things|strong="G5130"\+w*.
49 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w*, \+w behold|strong="G2400"\+w*, \+w I|strong="G1473"\+w* \+w send|strong="G0649"\+w* \+w the promise|strong="G1860"\+w* \+w of my|strong="G3450"\+w* \+w Father|strong="G3962"\+w* \+w upon|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5209"\+w*: \+w but|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w tarry|strong="G2523"\+w* \+w ye|strong="G5210"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w the city|strong="G4172"\+w* \+w of Jerusalem|strong="G2419"\+w*, \+w until|strong="G2193"\+w* \+w ye|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w be endued|strong="G1746"\+w* \+w with power|strong="G1411"\+w* \+w from|strong="G1537"\+w* \+w on high|strong="G5311"\+w*.
50 And|strong="G1161" he led|strong="G1806" them|strong="G0846" out|strong="G1854" as far as|strong="G2193" to|strong="G1519" Bethany|strong="G0963", and|strong="G2532" he lifted up|strong="G1869" his|strong="G0846" hands|strong="G5495", and blessed|strong="G2127" them|strong="G0846".
51 And|strong="G2532" it came to pass|strong="G1096", while|strong="G1722" he|strong="G0846" blessed|strong="G2127" them|strong="G0846", he was parted|strong="G1339" from|strong="G0575" them|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" carried up|strong="G0399" into|strong="G1519" heaven|strong="G3772".
52 And|strong="G2532" they|strong="G0846" worshipped|strong="G4352" him|strong="G0846", and returned|strong="G5290" to|strong="G1519" Jerusalem|strong="G2419" with|strong="G3326" great|strong="G3173" joy|strong="G5479":
53 And|strong="G2532" were|strong="G2258" continually|strong="G1275" in|strong="G1722" the temple|strong="G2411", praising|strong="G0134" and|strong="G2532" blessing|strong="G2127" God|strong="G2316". Amen|strong="G0281".
