2 And|strong="G2532" the chief priests|strong="G0749" and|strong="G2532" scribes|strong="G1122" sought|strong="G2212" how|strong="G4459" they might kill|strong="G0337" him|strong="G0846"; for|strong="G1063" they feared|strong="G5399" the people|strong="G2992".
3 Then|strong="G1161" entered|strong="G1525" Satan|strong="G4567" into|strong="G1519" Judas|strong="G2455" surnamed|strong="G1941" Iscariot|strong="G2469", being|strong="G5607" of|strong="G1537" the number|strong="G0706" of the twelve|strong="G1427".
4 And|strong="G2532" he went his way|strong="G0565", and communed|strong="G4814" with the chief priests|strong="G0749" and|strong="G2532" captains|strong="G4755", how|strong="G4459" he might betray|strong="G3860" him|strong="G0846" unto them|strong="G0846".
5 And|strong="G2532" they were glad|strong="G5463", and|strong="G2532" covenanted|strong="G4934" to give|strong="G1325" him|strong="G0846" money|strong="G0694".

14 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G3753" the hour|strong="G5610" was come|strong="G1096", he sat down|strong="G0377", and|strong="G2532" the twelve|strong="G1427" apostles|strong="G0652" with|strong="G4862" him|strong="G0846".

21 \+w But|strong="G4133"\+w*, \+w behold|strong="G2400"\+w*, \+w the hand|strong="G5495"\+w* \+w of him that|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w betrayeth|strong="G3860"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3165"\+w* \+add is\+add* \+w with|strong="G3326"\+w* \+w me|strong="G1700"\+w* \+w on|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w the table|strong="G5132"\+w*.
22 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w truly|strong="G3303"\+w* \+w the Son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of man|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w goeth|strong="G4198"\+w*, \+w as|strong="G2596"\+w* \+w it was determined|strong="G3724"\+w*: \+w but|strong="G4133"\+w* \+w woe|strong="G3759"\+w* \+w unto that|strong="G1565"\+w* \+w man|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w by|strong="G1223"\+w* \+w whom|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w he is betrayed|strong="G3860"\+w*!
23 And|strong="G2532" they|strong="G0846" began|strong="G0756" to enquire|strong="G4802" among|strong="G4314" themselves|strong="G1438", which|strong="G5101" of|strong="G1537" them|strong="G0846" it was|strong="G1498" that should|strong="G3195" do|strong="G4238" this thing|strong="G5124".
24 And|strong="G1161" there was|strong="G1096" also|strong="G2532" a strife|strong="G5379" among|strong="G1722" them|strong="G0846", which|strong="G5101" of them|strong="G0846" should be|strong="G1511" accounted|strong="G1380" the greatest|strong="G3187".
25 And|strong="G1161" he said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w The kings|strong="G0935"\+w* \+w of the Gentiles|strong="G1484"\+w* \+w exercise lordship|strong="G2961"\+w* \+w over them|strong="G0846"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w they that|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w exercise authority upon|strong="G1850"\+w* \+w them|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w are called|strong="G2564"\+w* \+w benefactors|strong="G2110"\+w*.

28 \+w Ye|strong="G5210"\+w* \+w are|strong="G2075"\+w* \+w they which|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w have continued|strong="G1265"\+w* \+w with|strong="G3326"\+w* \+w me|strong="G1700"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w my|strong="G3450"\+w* \+w temptations|strong="G3986"\+w*.

31 And|strong="G1161" the Lord|strong="G2962" said|strong="G2036", \+w Simon|strong="G4613"\+w*, \+w Simon|strong="G4613"\+w*, \+w behold|strong="G2400"\+w*, \+w Satan|strong="G4567"\+w* \+w hath desired|strong="G1809"\+w* \+add to have\+add* \+w you|strong="G5209"\+w*, \+w that he may sift|strong="G4617"\+w* \+add you\+add* \+w as|strong="G5613"\+w* \+w wheat|strong="G4621"\+w*:

38 And|strong="G1161" they said|strong="G2036", Lord|strong="G2962", behold|strong="G2400", here|strong="G5602" are two|strong="G1417" swords|strong="G3162". And|strong="G1161" he said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w It is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w enough|strong="G2425"\+w*.
39 And|strong="G2532" he came out|strong="G1831", and went|strong="G4198", as|strong="G2596" he was wont|strong="G1485", to|strong="G1519" the mount|strong="G3735" of Olives|strong="G1636"; and|strong="G2532" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101" also|strong="G1161" followed|strong="G0190" him|strong="G0846".
40 And|strong="G1161" when he was|strong="G1096" at|strong="G1909" the place|strong="G5117", he said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846", \+w Pray that|strong="G4336"\+w* \+w ye enter|strong="G1525"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3361"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w temptation|strong="G3986"\+w*.

43 And|strong="G1161" there appeared|strong="G3700" an angel|strong="G0032" unto him|strong="G0846" from|strong="G0575" heaven|strong="G3772", strengthening|strong="G1765" him|strong="G0846".
44 And|strong="G2532" being|strong="G1096" in|strong="G1722" an agony|strong="G0074" he prayed|strong="G4336" more earnestly|strong="G1617": and|strong="G1161" his|strong="G0846" sweat|strong="G2402" was|strong="G1096" as it were|strong="G5616" great drops|strong="G2361" of blood|strong="G0129" falling down|strong="G2597" to|strong="G1909" the ground|strong="G1093".

50 And|strong="G2532" one|strong="G1520" of|strong="G1537" them|strong="G0846" smote|strong="G3960" the servant|strong="G1401" of the high priest|strong="G0749", and|strong="G2532" cut off|strong="G0851" his|strong="G0846" right|strong="G1188" ear|strong="G3775".
