2 This is the land|strong="H0776" that yet remaineth|strong="H7604": all the borders|strong="H1552" of the Philistines|strong="H6430", and all Geshuri|strong="H1651",
3 From Sihor|strong="H7883", which is before|strong="H6440" Egypt|strong="H4714", even unto the borders|strong="H1366" of Ekron|strong="H6138" northward|strong="H6828", which is counted|strong="H2803" to the Canaanite|strong="H3669": five|strong="H2568" lords|strong="H5633" of the Philistines|strong="H6430"; the Gazathites|strong="H5841", and the Ashdothites|strong="H0796", the Eshkalonites|strong="H0832", the Gittites|strong="H1663", and the Ekronites|strong="H6139"; also the Avites|strong="H5761":
4 From the south|strong="H8486", all the land|strong="H0776" of the Canaanites|strong="H3669", and Mearah|strong="H4632" that is beside the Sidonians|strong="H6722", unto Aphek|strong="H0663", to the borders|strong="H1366" of the Amorites|strong="H0567":
5 And the land|strong="H0776" of the Giblites|strong="H1382", and all Lebanon|strong="H3844", toward the sunrising|strong="H4217", from Baal-gad|strong="H1171" under mount|strong="H2022" Hermon|strong="H2768" unto the entering|strong="H0935" into Hamath|strong="H2574".
6 All the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of the hill country|strong="H2022" from Lebanon|strong="H3844" unto Misrephoth-maim|strong="H4956", and all the Sidonians|strong="H6722", them will I drive out|strong="H3423" from before|strong="H6440" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478": only divide thou it by lot|strong="H5307" unto the Israelites|strong="H3478" for an inheritance|strong="H5159", as I have commanded|strong="H6680" thee.
7 Now therefore divide|strong="H2505" this land|strong="H0776" for an inheritance|strong="H5159" unto the nine|strong="H8672" tribes|strong="H7626", and the half|strong="H2677" tribe|strong="H7626" of Manasseh|strong="H4519",
8 With whom the Reubenites|strong="H7206" and the Gadites|strong="H1425" have received|strong="H3947" their inheritance|strong="H5159", which Moses|strong="H4872" gave|strong="H5414" them, beyond|strong="H5676" Jordan|strong="H3383" eastward|strong="H4217", even as Moses|strong="H4872" the servant|strong="H5650" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* gave|strong="H5414" them;
9 From Aroer|strong="H6177", that is upon the bank|strong="H8193" of the river|strong="H5158" Arnon|strong="H0769", and the city|strong="H5892" that is in the midst|strong="H8432" of the river|strong="H5158", and all the plain|strong="H4334" of Medeba|strong="H4311" unto Dibon|strong="H1769";
10 And all the cities|strong="H5892" of Sihon|strong="H5511" king|strong="H4428" of the Amorites|strong="H0567", which reigned|strong="H4427" in Heshbon|strong="H2809", unto the border|strong="H1366" of the children|strong="H1121" of Ammon|strong="H5983";
11 And Gilead|strong="H1568", and the border|strong="H1366" of the Geshurites|strong="H1651" and Maachathites|strong="H4602", and all mount|strong="H2022" Hermon|strong="H2768", and all Bashan|strong="H1316" unto Salcah|strong="H5548";
12 All the kingdom|strong="H4468" of Og|strong="H5747" in Bashan|strong="H1316", which reigned|strong="H4427" in Ashtaroth|strong="H6252" and in Edrei|strong="H0154", who remained|strong="H7604" of the remnant|strong="H3499" of the giants|strong="H7497": for these did Moses|strong="H4872" smite|strong="H5221", and cast them out|strong="H3423".
13 Nevertheless the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" expelled|strong="H3423" not the Geshurites|strong="H1651", nor the Maachathites|strong="H4602": but the Geshurites|strong="H1650" and the Maachathites|strong="H4601" dwell|strong="H3427" among|strong="H7130" the Israelites|strong="H3478" until this day|strong="H3117".
14 Only unto the tribe|strong="H7626" of Levi|strong="H3878" he gave|strong="H5414" none inheritance|strong="H5159"; the sacrifices|strong="H0801" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478" made by fire|strong="H0801" are their inheritance|strong="H5159", as he said|strong="H1696" unto them.
15 And Moses|strong="H4872" gave|strong="H5414" unto the tribe|strong="H4294" of the children|strong="H1121" of Reuben|strong="H7205" inheritance according to their families|strong="H4940".
16 And their coast|strong="H1366" was from Aroer|strong="H6177", that is on the bank|strong="H8193" of the river|strong="H5158" Arnon|strong="H0769", and the city|strong="H5892" that is in the midst|strong="H8432" of the river|strong="H5158", and all the plain|strong="H4334" by Medeba|strong="H4311";
17 Heshbon|strong="H2809", and all her cities|strong="H5892" that are in the plain|strong="H4334"; Dibon|strong="H1769", and Bamoth-baal|strong="H1120", and Beth-baal-meon|strong="H1010",
18 And Jahazah|strong="H3096", and Kedemoth|strong="H6932", and Mephaath|strong="H4158",
19 And Kirjathaim|strong="H7156", and Sibmah|strong="H7643", and Zareth-shahar|strong="H6890" in the mount|strong="H2022" of the valley|strong="H6010",
20 And Beth-peor|strong="H1047", and Ashdoth-pisgah|strong="H0798", and Beth-jeshimoth|strong="H1020",
21 And all the cities|strong="H5892" of the plain|strong="H4334", and all the kingdom|strong="H4468" of Sihon|strong="H5511" king|strong="H4428" of the Amorites|strong="H0567", which reigned|strong="H4427" in Heshbon|strong="H2809", whom Moses|strong="H4872" smote|strong="H5221" with the princes|strong="H5387" of Midian|strong="H4080", Evi|strong="H0189", and Rekem|strong="H7552", and Zur|strong="H6698", and Hur|strong="H2354", and Reba|strong="H7254", which were dukes|strong="H5257" of Sihon|strong="H5511", dwelling|strong="H3427" in the country|strong="H0776".
22 Balaam|strong="H1109" also the son|strong="H1121" of Beor|strong="H1160", the soothsayer|strong="H7080", did the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" slay|strong="H2026" with the sword|strong="H2719" among them|strong="H0413" that were slain|strong="H2491" by them.
23 And the border|strong="H1366" of the children|strong="H1121" of Reuben|strong="H7205" was Jordan|strong="H3383", and the border|strong="H1366" thereof. This was the inheritance|strong="H5159" of the children|strong="H1121" of Reuben|strong="H7205" after their families|strong="H4940", the cities|strong="H5892" and the villages|strong="H2691" thereof.
24 And Moses|strong="H4872" gave|strong="H5414" inheritance unto the tribe|strong="H4294" of Gad|strong="H1410", even unto the children|strong="H1121" of Gad|strong="H1410" according to their families|strong="H4940".
25 And their coast|strong="H1366" was Jazer|strong="H3270", and all the cities|strong="H5892" of Gilead|strong="H1568", and half|strong="H2677" the land|strong="H0776" of the children|strong="H1121" of Ammon|strong="H5983", unto Aroer|strong="H6177" that is before|strong="H6440" Rabbah|strong="H7237";
26 And from Heshbon|strong="H2809" unto Ramath-mizpeh|strong="H7434", and Betonim|strong="H0993"; and from Mahanaim|strong="H4266" unto the border|strong="H1366" of Debir|strong="H1688";
27 And in the valley|strong="H6010", Beth-aram|strong="H1027", and Beth-nimrah|strong="H1039", and Succoth|strong="H5523", and Zaphon|strong="H6829", the rest|strong="H3499" of the kingdom|strong="H4468" of Sihon|strong="H5511" king|strong="H4428" of Heshbon|strong="H2809", Jordan|strong="H3383" and his border|strong="H1366", even unto the edge|strong="H7097" of the sea|strong="H3220" of Chinnereth|strong="H3672" on the other side|strong="H5676" Jordan|strong="H3383" eastward|strong="H4217".
28 This is the inheritance|strong="H5159" of the children|strong="H1121" of Gad|strong="H1410" after their families|strong="H4940", the cities|strong="H5892", and their villages|strong="H2691".
29 And Moses|strong="H4872" gave|strong="H5414" inheritance unto the half|strong="H2677" tribe|strong="H7626" of Manasseh|strong="H4519": and this was the possession of the half|strong="H2677" tribe|strong="H4294" of the children|strong="H1121" of Manasseh|strong="H4519" by their families|strong="H4940".
30 And their coast|strong="H1366" was from Mahanaim|strong="H4266", all Bashan|strong="H1316", all the kingdom|strong="H4468" of Og|strong="H5747" king|strong="H4428" of Bashan|strong="H1316", and all the towns|strong="H2333" of Jair|strong="H2971", which are in Bashan|strong="H1316", threescore|strong="H8346" cities|strong="H5892":
31 And half|strong="H2677" Gilead|strong="H1568", and Ashtaroth|strong="H6252", and Edrei|strong="H0154", cities|strong="H5892" of the kingdom|strong="H4468" of Og|strong="H5747" in Bashan|strong="H1316", were pertaining unto the children|strong="H1121" of Machir|strong="H4353" the son|strong="H1121" of Manasseh|strong="H4519", even to the one half|strong="H2677" of the children|strong="H1121" of Machir|strong="H4353" by their families|strong="H4940".
32 These are the countries which Moses|strong="H4872" did distribute for inheritance|strong="H5157" in the plains|strong="H6160" of Moab|strong="H4124", on the other side|strong="H5676" Jordan|strong="H3383", by Jericho|strong="H3405", eastward|strong="H4217".
33 But unto the tribe|strong="H7626" of Levi|strong="H3878" Moses|strong="H4872" gave|strong="H5414" not any inheritance|strong="H5159": the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478" was their inheritance|strong="H5159", as he said|strong="H1696" unto them.
