1 The word|strong="H1697" which came unto Jeremiah|strong="H3414" from the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, when king|strong="H4428" Zedekiah|strong="H6667" sent|strong="H7971" unto him Pashur|strong="H6583" the son|strong="H1121" of Melchiah|strong="H4441", and Zephaniah|strong="H6846" the son|strong="H1121" of Maaseiah|strong="H4641" the priest|strong="H3548", saying|strong="H0559",
1 Palavra que veio para Jeremias da parte do SENHOR, quando o rei Zedequias lhe enviou a Pasur, o filho de Malquias, e Sofonias, o filho de Maaseias, o sacerdote, dizendo:
2 Enquire|strong="H1875", I pray thee, of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* for us|strong="H1157"; for Nebuchadrezzar|strong="H5019" king|strong="H4428" of Babylon|strong="H0894" maketh war|strong="H3898" against us; if so be that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* will deal|strong="H6213" with us according to all his wondrous works|strong="H6381", that he may go up|strong="H5927" from us.
2 Indague, eu te rogo, ao SENHOR por nós, pois Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, faz guerra contra nós; para que o SENHOR opere conosco conforme todas as suas obras maravilhosas, e o faça retirar-se de nós.
3 Then said|strong="H0559" Jeremiah|strong="H3414" unto them, Thus shall ye say|strong="H0559" to Zedekiah|strong="H6667":
3 Então disse-lhes Jeremias: Desta forma direis a Zedequias.
4 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478"; Behold, I will turn back|strong="H5437" the weapons|strong="H3627" of war|strong="H4421" that are in your hands|strong="H3027", wherewith ye fight|strong="H3898" against the king|strong="H4428" of Babylon|strong="H0894", and against the Chaldeans|strong="H3778", which besiege|strong="H6696" you without|strong="H2351" the walls|strong="H2346", and I will assemble|strong="H0622" them into the midst|strong="H8432" of this city|strong="H5892".
4 Assim diz o SENHOR Deus de Israel: Eis que eu farei retroceder as armas de guerra que estão em vossas mãos, com as quais vós lutais contra o rei de Babilônia, e contra os caldeus, que vos sitiam do lado de fora dos muros, e eu os reunirei no meio desta cidade.
5 And I myself will fight|strong="H3898" against you with an outstretched|strong="H5186" hand|strong="H3027" and with a strong|strong="H2389" arm|strong="H2220", even in anger|strong="H0639", and in fury|strong="H2534", and in great|strong="H1419" wrath|strong="H7110".
5 E eu lutarei contra vós com mão estendida, e com braço forte, e em ira, e em fúria, e em grande cólera.
6 And I will smite|strong="H5221" the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of this city|strong="H5892", both man|strong="H0120" and beast|strong="H0929": they shall die|strong="H4191" of a great|strong="H1419" pestilence|strong="H1698".
6 E eu afligirei os habitantes desta cidade, tanto o homem quanto o animal. Eles morrerão por causa de uma grande peste.
7 And afterward|strong="H0310", saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, I will deliver|strong="H5414" Zedekiah|strong="H6667" king|strong="H4428" of Judah|strong="H3063", and his servants|strong="H5650", and the people|strong="H5971", and such as are left|strong="H7604" in this city|strong="H5892" from the pestilence|strong="H1698", from the sword|strong="H2719", and from the famine|strong="H7458", into the hand|strong="H3027" of Nebuchadrezzar|strong="H5019" king|strong="H4428" of Babylon|strong="H0894", and into the hand|strong="H3027" of their enemies|strong="H0341", and into the hand|strong="H3027" of those that seek|strong="H1245" their life|strong="H5315": and he shall smite|strong="H5221" them with the edge|strong="H6310" of the sword|strong="H2719"; he shall not spare|strong="H2347" them, neither have pity|strong="H2550", nor have mercy|strong="H7355".
7 E após isso, diz o SENHOR, eu entregarei Zedequias, rei de Judá, e os seus servos, e o povo, e os que nesta cidade restarem da peste, da espada, e da fome, na mão de Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, e na mão de seus inimigos, e na mão daqueles que buscam suas vidas. E ele os atingirá com a lâmina da espada. Ele não os poupará, nem terá piedade, nem terá misericórdia.
8 And unto this people|strong="H5971" thou shalt say|strong="H0559", Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; Behold, I set|strong="H5414" before|strong="H6440" you the way|strong="H1870" of life|strong="H2416", and the way|strong="H1870" of death|strong="H4194".
8 E para este povo tu dirás: Assim diz o SENHOR: Eis que eu coloco perante vós o caminho de vida, e o caminho de morte.
9 He that abideth|strong="H3427" in this city|strong="H5892" shall die|strong="H4191" by the sword|strong="H2719", and by the famine|strong="H7458", and by the pestilence|strong="H1698": but he that goeth out|strong="H3318", and falleth|strong="H5307" to the Chaldeans|strong="H3778" that besiege|strong="H6696" you, he shall live|strong="H2421", and his life|strong="H5315" shall be unto him for a prey|strong="H7998".
9 Aquele que permanecer nesta cidade morrerá pela espada, e pela fome, e pela peste. Porém aquele que sair e for para os caldeus que vos sitiam, viverá, e sua vida será para ele como um despojo.
10 For I have set|strong="H7760" my face|strong="H6440" against this city|strong="H5892" for evil|strong="H7451", and not for good|strong="H2896", saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: it shall be given|strong="H5414" into the hand|strong="H3027" of the king|strong="H4428" of Babylon|strong="H0894", and he shall burn|strong="H8313" it with fire|strong="H0784".
10 Porque eu coloquei a minha face contra esta cidade para o mal, e não para o bem, diz o SENHOR. Ela será dada na mão do rei de Babilônia, e ele a queimará a fogo.
11 And touching the house|strong="H1004" of the king|strong="H4428" of Judah|strong="H3063", say, Hear|strong="H8085" ye the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*;
11 E com relação à casa do rei de Judá, dize: Ouvi vós a palavra do SENHOR.
12 O house|strong="H1004" of David|strong="H1732", thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; Execute|strong="H1777" judgment|strong="H4941" in the morning|strong="H1242", and deliver|strong="H5337" him that is spoiled|strong="H1497" out of the hand|strong="H3027" of the oppressor|strong="H6231", lest my fury|strong="H2534" go out|strong="H3318" like fire|strong="H0784", and burn|strong="H1197" that none can quench|strong="H3518" it, because|strong="H6440" of the evil|strong="H7455" of your doings|strong="H4611".
12 Ó casa de Davi, assim diz o SENHOR: Executai juízo na manhã, e livrai aquele que é espoliado da mão do opressor, para que a minha fúria não saia como fogo, e queime de tal modo que ninguém possa apagá-lo, por causa do mal de vossos feitos.
13 Behold, I am against thee, O inhabitant|strong="H3427" of the valley|strong="H6010", and rock|strong="H6697" of the plain|strong="H4334", saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; which say|strong="H0559", Who shall come down|strong="H5181" against us? or who shall enter|strong="H0935" into our habitations|strong="H4585"?
13 Eis que eu sou contra ti, diz o SENHOR, ó habitante do vale, e rocha da planície, que dizeis: Quem irá descer contra nós? Ou quem irá adentrar nossas habitações?
14 But I will punish|strong="H6485" you according to the fruit|strong="H6529" of your doings|strong="H4611", saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: and I will kindle|strong="H3341" a fire|strong="H0784" in the forest|strong="H3293" thereof, and it shall devour|strong="H0398" all things round about|strong="H5439" it.
14 Porém, eu vos punirei conforme o fruto de vossos feitos, diz o SENHOR, e atearei um fogo na sua floresta, e ele devorará todas as coisas em todas as direções ao seu redor.
