1 Então Bildade, de Suá, respondeu:
2 Dominion|strong="H4910" and fear|strong="H6343" are with him, he maketh|strong="H6213" peace|strong="H7965" in his high places|strong="H4791".
2 "O domínio e o temor pertencem a Deus; ele impõe ordem nas alturas, que a ele pertencem.
3 Is there|strong="H3426" any number|strong="H4557" of his armies|strong="H1416"? and upon whom doth not his light|strong="H0216" arise|strong="H6965"?
3 Seria possível contar os seus exércitos? E a sua luz, sobre quem não se levanta?
4 How then can man|strong="H0582" be justified|strong="H6663" with God|strong="H0410"? or how can he be clean|strong="H2135" that is born|strong="H3205" of a woman|strong="H0802"?
4 Como pode então o homem ser justo diante de Deus? Como pode ser puro quem nasce de mulher?
5 Behold even to the moon|strong="H3394", and it shineth|strong="H0166" not; yea, the stars|strong="H3556" are not pure|strong="H2141" in his sight|strong="H5869".
5 Se nem a lua é brilhante e as estrelas são puras aos olhos dele,
6 How much less man|strong="H0582", that is a worm|strong="H7415"? and the son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", which is a worm|strong="H8438"?
6 muito menos o será o homem, que não passa de larva, o filho do homem, que não passa de verme! "
