1 Then Jonah|strong="H3124" prayed|strong="H6419" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* his God|strong="H0430" out of the fish’s|strong="H1710" belly|strong="H4578",
1 E orou Jonas ao Senhor, seu Deus, lá das entranhas do peixe;
2 And said|strong="H0559", I cried|strong="H7121" by reason of mine affliction|strong="H6869" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and he heard|strong="H6030" me; out of the belly|strong="H0990" of hell|strong="H7585" cried|strong="H7768" I, and thou heardest|strong="H8085" my voice|strong="H6963".
2 e disse: Na minha angústia clamei ao senhor, e ele me respondeu; do ventre do Seol gritei, e tu ouviste a minha voz.
3 For thou hadst cast|strong="H7993" me into the deep|strong="H4688", in the midst|strong="H3824" of the seas|strong="H3220"; and the floods|strong="H5104" compassed|strong="H5437" me about: all thy billows|strong="H4867" and thy waves|strong="H1530" passed over|strong="H5674" me.
3 Pois me lançaste no profundo, no coração dos mares, e a corrente das águas me cercou; todas as tuas ondas e as tuas vagas passaram por cima de mim.
4 Then I said|strong="H0559", I am cast out|strong="H1644" of thy sight|strong="H5869"; yet I will look|strong="H5027" again|strong="H3254" toward thy holy|strong="H6944" temple|strong="H1964".
4 E eu disse: Lançado estou de diante dos teus olhos; como tornarei a olhar para o teu santo templo?
5 The waters|strong="H4325" compassed me about|strong="H0661", even to the soul|strong="H5315": the depth|strong="H8415" closed me round about|strong="H5437", the weeds|strong="H5488" were wrapped about|strong="H2280" my head|strong="H7218".
5 As águas me cercaram até a alma, o abismo me rodeou, e as algas se enrolaram na minha cabeça.
6 I went down|strong="H3381" to the bottoms|strong="H7095" of the mountains|strong="H2022"; the earth|strong="H0776" with her bars|strong="H1280" was about me for ever|strong="H5769": yet hast thou brought up|strong="H5927" my life|strong="H2416" from corruption|strong="H7845", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* my God|strong="H0430".
6 Eu desci até os fundamentos dos montes; a terra encerrou-me para sempre com os seus ferrolhos; mas tu, Senhor meu Deus, fizeste subir da cova a minha vida.
7 When my soul|strong="H5315" fainted|strong="H5848" within me I remembered|strong="H2142" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: and my prayer|strong="H8605" came in|strong="H0935" unto thee, into thine holy|strong="H6944" temple|strong="H1964".
7 Quando dentro de mim desfalecia a minha alma, eu me lembrei do Senhor; e entrou a ti a minha oração, no teu santo templo.
8 They that observe|strong="H8104" lying|strong="H7723" vanities|strong="H1892" forsake|strong="H5800" their own mercy|strong="H2617".
8 Os que se apegam aos vãos ídolos afastam de si a misericórdia.
9 But I will sacrifice|strong="H2076" unto thee with the voice|strong="H6963" of thanksgiving|strong="H8426"; I will pay|strong="H7999" that that I have vowed|strong="H5087". Salvation|strong="H3444" is of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
9 Mas eu te oferecerei sacrifício com a voz de ação de graças; o que votei pagarei. Ao Senhor pertence a salvação.
10 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H0559" unto the fish|strong="H1709", and it vomited out|strong="H6958" Jonah|strong="H3124" upon the dry|strong="H3004" land.
10 Falou, pois, o Senhor ao peixe, e o peixe vomitou a Jonas na terra.
