1 Hear|strong="H8085" ye this, O house|strong="H1004" of Jacob|strong="H3290", which are called|strong="H7121" by the name|strong="H8034" of Israel|strong="H3478", and are come forth|strong="H3318" out of the waters|strong="H4325" of Judah|strong="H3063", which swear|strong="H7650" by the name|strong="H8034" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and make mention|strong="H2142" of the God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478", but not in truth|strong="H0571", nor in righteousness|strong="H6666".
1 "Escute isto, ó comunidade de Jacó, vocês que são chamados pelo nome de Israel e vêm da linhagem de Judá, vocês que fazem juramentos pelo nome do Senhor e invocam o Deus de Israel, mas não em verdade ou retidão;
2 For they call|strong="H7121" themselves of the holy|strong="H6944" city|strong="H5892", and stay|strong="H5564" themselves upon the God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478"; The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" is his name|strong="H8034".
2 vocês que chamam a si mesmos cidadãos da cidade santa e dependem do Deus de Israel; o Senhor dos Exércitos é o seu nome:

4 Pois eu sabia o quão obstinado você era; os tendões de seu pescoço eram ferro, a sua testa era bronze.
5 I have even from the beginning|strong="H0227" declared|strong="H5046" it to thee; before it came to pass|strong="H0935" I shewed|strong="H8085" it thee: lest thou shouldest say|strong="H0559", Mine idol|strong="H6090" hath done|strong="H6213" them, and my graven image|strong="H6459", and my molten image|strong="H5262", hath commanded|strong="H6680" them.
5 Por isso há muito lhe contei essas coisas; antes que acontecessem eu as anunciei a você para que você não pudesse dizer: ‘Meus ídolos as fizeram; minha imagem de madeira e meu deus de metal as determinaram’.
6 Thou hast heard|strong="H8085", see|strong="H2372" all this; and will not ye declare|strong="H5046" it? I have shewed|strong="H8085" thee new things|strong="H2319" from this time|strong="H6258", even hidden things|strong="H5341", and thou didst not know|strong="H3045" them.
6 Você tem ouvido essas coisas; olhe para todas elas. Você não irá admiti-las? De agora em diante eu lhe contarei coisas novas, coisas ocultas, que você desconhece.
7 They are created|strong="H1254" now, and not from the beginning; even before|strong="H6440" the day|strong="H3117" when thou heardest|strong="H8085" them not; lest thou shouldest say|strong="H0559", Behold, I knew|strong="H3045" them.
7 Elas foram criadas agora, e não há muito tempo; você nunca os conheceu antes. Por isso você não pode dizer: ‘Sim, eu as conhecia’.
8 Yea, thou heardest|strong="H8085" not; yea, thou knewest|strong="H3045" not; yea, from that time that thine ear|strong="H0241" was not opened|strong="H6605": for I knew|strong="H3045" that thou wouldest deal very|strong="H0898" treacherously|strong="H0898", and wast called|strong="H7121" a transgressor|strong="H6586" from the womb|strong="H0990".
8 Você não tinha conhecimento nem entendimento; desde a antigüidade, o seu ouvido tem se fechado. Sei quão traiçoeiro você é; desde o nascimento você foi chamado rebelde.
9 For my name’s|strong="H8034" sake will I defer|strong="H0748" mine anger|strong="H0639", and for my praise|strong="H8416" will I refrain|strong="H2413" for thee, that I cut thee not off|strong="H3772".

10 Behold, I have refined|strong="H6884" thee, but not with silver|strong="H3701"; I have chosen|strong="H0977" thee in the furnace|strong="H3564" of affliction|strong="H6040".

12 "Escute-me, ó Jacó, Israel, a quem chamei: Eu sou sempre o mesmo; eu sou o primeiro e eu sou o último.
13 Mine hand|strong="H3027" also hath laid the foundation|strong="H3245" of the earth|strong="H0776", and my right hand|strong="H3225" hath spanned|strong="H2946" the heavens|strong="H8064": when I call|strong="H7121" unto them, they stand up|strong="H5975" together|strong="H3162".
13 Minha própria mão lançou os alicerces da terra, e a minha mão direita estendeu os céus; quando eu os convoco, todos juntos se põem de pé.
14 All ye, assemble|strong="H6908" yourselves, and hear|strong="H8085"; which among them hath declared|strong="H5046" these things? The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath loved|strong="H0157" him: he will do|strong="H6213" his pleasure|strong="H2656" on Babylon|strong="H0894", and his arm|strong="H2220" shall be on the Chaldeans|strong="H3778".
14 "Reúnam-se, todos vocês, e escutem: Qual dos ídolos predisse essas coisas? O amado do Senhor cumprirá seu propósito contra a Babilônia; seu braço será contra os babilônios.
15 I, even I, have spoken|strong="H1696"; yea, I have called|strong="H7121" him: I have brought|strong="H0935" him, and he shall make his way|strong="H1870" prosperous|strong="H6743".
15 Eu, eu mesmo, falei; sim, eu o chamei. Eu o trarei, e ele será bem sucedido em sua missão.
16 Come|strong="H7126" ye near|strong="H7126" unto me, hear|strong="H8085" ye this; I have not spoken|strong="H1696" in secret|strong="H5643" from the beginning|strong="H7218"; from the time|strong="H6256" that it was, there am I: and now the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*, and his Spirit|strong="H7307", hath sent|strong="H7971" me.
16 "Aproximem-se de mim e escutem isto: "Desde o primeiro anúncio não falei secretamente; na hora em que acontecer, estarei ali. " E agora o Soberano Senhor me enviou, com seu Espírito.
17 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, thy Redeemer|strong="H1350", the Holy One|strong="H6918" of Israel|strong="H3478"; I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" which teacheth|strong="H3925" thee to profit|strong="H3276", which leadeth|strong="H1869" thee by the way|strong="H1870" that thou shouldest go|strong="H3212".
17 Assim diz o Senhor, o seu redentor, o Santo de Israel: "Eu sou o Senhor, o seu Deus, que lhe ensina o que é melhor para você, que o dirige no caminho em que você deve ir.
18 O that|strong="H3863" thou hadst hearkened|strong="H7181" to my commandments|strong="H4687"! then had thy peace|strong="H7965" been as a river|strong="H5104", and thy righteousness|strong="H6666" as the waves|strong="H1530" of the sea|strong="H3220":
18 Se tão-somente você tivesse prestado atenção às minhas ordens, sua paz seria como um rio, sua retidão, como as ondas do mar.
19 Thy seed|strong="H2233" also had been as the sand|strong="H2344", and the offspring|strong="H6631" of thy bowels|strong="H4578" like the gravel|strong="H4579" thereof; his name|strong="H8034" should not have been cut off|strong="H3772" nor destroyed|strong="H8045" from before|strong="H6440" me.
19 Seus descendentes seriam como a areia, seus filhos, como seus inúmeros grãos; o nome deles jamais seria eliminado nem destruído de diante de mim".
20 Go ye forth|strong="H3318" of Babylon|strong="H0894", flee|strong="H1272" ye from the Chaldeans|strong="H3778", with a voice|strong="H6963" of singing|strong="H7440" declare|strong="H5046" ye, tell|strong="H8085" this, utter|strong="H3318" it even to the end|strong="H7097" of the earth|strong="H0776"; say|strong="H0559" ye, The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath redeemed|strong="H1350" his servant|strong="H5650" Jacob|strong="H3290".
20 Deixem a Babilônia, fujam do meio dos babilônios! Anunciem isso com gritos de alegria e o proclamem. Enviem-no aos confins da terra; digam: "O Senhor resgatou seu servo Jacó".
21 And they thirsted|strong="H6770" not when he led|strong="H3212" them through the deserts|strong="H2723": he caused the waters|strong="H4325" to flow|strong="H5140" out of the rock|strong="H6697" for them: he clave|strong="H1234" the rock|strong="H6697" also, and the waters|strong="H4325" gushed out|strong="H2100".
21 Não tiveram sede quando ele os conduziu através dos desertos; ele fez água fluir da rocha para eles; fendeu a rocha, e a água jorrou.
22 There is no peace|strong="H7965", saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, unto the wicked|strong="H7563".
22 "Não há paz alguma para os ímpios", diz o Senhor.
