1 Behold, the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* maketh the earth|strong="H0776" empty|strong="H1238", and maketh it waste|strong="H1110", and turneth|strong="H5753" it upside down|strong="H6440", and scattereth abroad|strong="H6327" the inhabitants|strong="H3427" thereof.
1 Eis que o Senhor esvazia a terra e a desola, transtorna a sua superfície e dispersa os seus moradores.
2 And it shall be, as with the people|strong="H5971", so with the priest|strong="H3548"; as with the servant|strong="H5650", so with his master|strong="H0113"; as with the maid|strong="H8198", so with her mistress|strong="H1404"; as with the buyer|strong="H7069", so with the seller|strong="H4376"; as with the lender|strong="H3867", so with the borrower|strong="H3867"; as with the taker of usury|strong="H5383", so|strong="H0834" with the giver of usury|strong="H5378" to him.
2 E o que suceder ao povo, sucederá ao sacerdote; ao servo, como ao seu senhor; à serva, como à sua senhora; ao comprador, como ao vendedor; ao que empresta, como ao que toma emprestado; ao que recebe usura, como ao que paga usura.
3 The land|strong="H0776" shall be utterly|strong="H1238" emptied|strong="H1238", and utterly|strong="H0962" spoiled|strong="H0962": for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath spoken|strong="H1696" this word|strong="H1697".
3 De todo se esvaziará a terra, e de todo será saqueada, porque o Senhor pronunciou esta palavra.
4 The earth|strong="H0776" mourneth|strong="H0056" and fadeth away|strong="H5034", the world|strong="H8398" languisheth|strong="H0535" and fadeth away|strong="H5034", the haughty|strong="H4791" people|strong="H5971" of the earth|strong="H0776" do languish|strong="H0535".
4 A terra pranteia e se murcha; o mundo enfraquece e se murcha; enfraquecem os mais altos do povo da terra.
5 The earth|strong="H0776" also is defiled|strong="H2610" under the inhabitants|strong="H3427" thereof; because they have transgressed|strong="H5674" the laws|strong="H8451", changed|strong="H2498" the ordinance|strong="H2706", broken|strong="H6565" the everlasting|strong="H5769" covenant|strong="H1285".
5 Na verdade a terra está contaminada debaixo dos seus habitantes; porquanto transgridem as leis, mudam os estatutos, e quebram o pacto eterno.
6 Therefore hath the curse|strong="H0423" devoured|strong="H0398" the earth|strong="H0776", and they that dwell|strong="H3427" therein are desolate|strong="H0816": therefore the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of the earth|strong="H0776" are burned|strong="H2787", and few|strong="H4213" men|strong="H0582" left|strong="H7604".
6 Por isso a maldição devora a terra, e os que habitam nela sofrem por serem culpados; por isso são queimados os seus habitantes, e poucos homens restam.
7 The new wine|strong="H8492" mourneth|strong="H0056", the vine|strong="H1612" languisheth|strong="H0535", all the merryhearted|strong="H8056" do sigh|strong="H0584".
7 Pranteia o mosto, enfraquece a vide, e suspiram todos os que eram alegres de coração.
8 The mirth|strong="H4885" of tabrets|strong="H8596" ceaseth|strong="H7673", the noise|strong="H7588" of them that rejoice|strong="H5947" endeth|strong="H2308", the joy|strong="H4885" of the harp|strong="H3658" ceaseth|strong="H7673".
8 Cessa o folguedo dos tamboris, acaba a algazarra dos jubilantes, cessa a alegria da harpa.
9 They shall not drink|strong="H8354" wine|strong="H3196" with a song|strong="H7892"; strong drink|strong="H7941" shall be bitter|strong="H4843" to them that drink|strong="H8354" it.
9 Já não bebem vinho ao som das canções; a bebida forte é amarga para os que a bebem.
10 The city|strong="H7151" of confusion|strong="H8414" is broken down|strong="H7665": every house|strong="H1004" is shut up|strong="H5462", that no man may come in|strong="H0935".
10 Demolida está a cidade desordeira; todas as casas estão fechadas, de modo que ninguém pode entrar.
11 There is a crying|strong="H6682" for wine|strong="H3196" in the streets|strong="H2351"; all joy|strong="H8057" is darkened|strong="H6150", the mirth|strong="H4885" of the land|strong="H0776" is gone|strong="H1540".
11 Há lastimoso clamor nas ruas por falta do vinho; toda a alegria se escureceu, já se foi o prazer da terra.
12 In the city|strong="H5892" is left|strong="H7604" desolation|strong="H8047", and the gate|strong="H8179" is smitten|strong="H3807" with destruction|strong="H7591".
12 Na cidade só resta a desolação, e a porta está reduzida a ruínas.
13 When thus it shall be in the midst|strong="H7130" of the land|strong="H0776" among|strong="H8432" the people|strong="H5971", there shall be as the shaking|strong="H5363" of an olive tree|strong="H2132", and as the gleaning grapes|strong="H5955" when the vintage|strong="H1210" is done|strong="H3615".
13 Pois será no meio da terra, entre os povos, como a sacudidura da oliveira, e como os rabiscos, quando está acabada a vindima.
14 They shall lift up|strong="H5375" their voice|strong="H6963", they shall sing|strong="H7442" for the majesty|strong="H1347" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, they shall cry aloud|strong="H6670" from the sea|strong="H3220".
14 Estes alçarão a sua voz, bradando de alegria; por causa da majestade do Senhor clamarão desde o mar.
15 Wherefore glorify|strong="H3513" ye the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* in the fires|strong="H0217", even the name|strong="H8034" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478" in the isles|strong="H0339" of the sea|strong="H3220".
15 Por isso glorificai ao Senhor no Oriente, e na região litorânea do mar ao nome do Senhor Deus de Israel.
16 From the uttermost part|strong="H3671" of the earth|strong="H0776" have we heard|strong="H8085" songs|strong="H2158", even glory|strong="H6643" to the righteous|strong="H6662". But I said|strong="H0559", My leanness|strong="H7334", my leanness|strong="H7334", woe|strong="H0188" unto me! the treacherous dealers|strong="H0898" have dealt treacherously|strong="H0898"; yea, the treacherous dealers|strong="H0898" have dealt very|strong="H0899" treacherously|strong="H0898".
16 Dos confins da terra ouvimos cantar: Glória ao Justo. Mas eu digo: Emagreço, emagreço, ai de mim! os pérfidos tratam perfidamente; sim, os pérfidos tratam muito perfidamente.
17 Fear|strong="H6343", and the pit|strong="H6354", and the snare|strong="H6341", are upon thee, O inhabitant|strong="H3427" of the earth|strong="H0776".
17 O pavor, e a cova, e o laço vêm sobre ti, ó morador da terra.
18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth|strong="H5127" from the noise|strong="H6963" of the fear|strong="H6343" shall fall|strong="H5307" into the pit|strong="H6354"; and he that cometh up|strong="H5927" out of the midst|strong="H8432" of the pit|strong="H6354" shall be taken|strong="H3920" in the snare|strong="H6341": for the windows|strong="H0699" from on high|strong="H4791" are open|strong="H6605", and the foundations|strong="H4146" of the earth|strong="H0776" do shake|strong="H7493".
18 Aquele que fugir da voz do pavor cairá na cova, e o que subir da cova o laço o prenderá; porque as janelas do alto se abriram, e os fundamentos da terra tremem.
19 The earth|strong="H0776" is utterly|strong="H7489" broken down|strong="H7489", the earth|strong="H0776" is clean|strong="H6565" dissolved|strong="H6565", the earth|strong="H0776" is moved|strong="H4131" exceedingly|strong="H4131".
19 A terra está de todo quebrantada, a terra está de todo fendida, a terra está de todo abalada.
20 The earth|strong="H0776" shall reel|strong="H5128" to and fro|strong="H5128" like a drunkard|strong="H7910", and shall be removed|strong="H5110" like a cottage|strong="H4412"; and the transgression|strong="H6588" thereof shall be heavy|strong="H3513" upon it; and it shall fall|strong="H5307", and not rise|strong="H6965" again|strong="H3254".
20 A terra cambaleia como o ébrio, e balanceia como a rede de dormir; e a sua transgressão se torna pesada sobre ela, e ela cai, e nunca mais se levantará.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day|strong="H3117", that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall punish|strong="H6485" the host|strong="H6635" of the high ones|strong="H4791" that are on high|strong="H4791", and the kings|strong="H4428" of the earth|strong="H0127" upon the earth|strong="H0127".
21 Naquele dia o Senhor castigará os exércitos do alto nas alturas, e os reis da terra sobre a terra.
22 And they shall be gathered together|strong="H0622", as prisoners|strong="H0616" are gathered|strong="H0626" in the pit|strong="H0953", and shall be shut up|strong="H5462" in the prison|strong="H4525", and after many|strong="H7230" days|strong="H3117" shall they be visited|strong="H6485".
22 E serão ajuntados como presos numa cova, e serão encerrados num cárcere; e serão punidos depois de muitos dias.
23 Then the moon|strong="H3842" shall be confounded|strong="H2659", and the sun|strong="H2535" ashamed|strong="H0954", when the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" shall reign|strong="H4427" in mount|strong="H2022" Zion|strong="H6726", and in Jerusalem|strong="H3389", and before his ancients|strong="H2205" gloriously|strong="H3519".
23 Então a lua se confundirá, e o sol se envergonhará, pois o Senhor dos exércitos reinará no monte Sião e em Jerusalém; e perante os seus anciãos manifestará a sua glória.
