Gênesis 28

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

And Isaac|strong="H3327" called|strong="H7121" Jacob|strong="H3290", and blessed|strong="H1288" him, and charged|strong="H6680" him, and said|strong="H0559" unto him, Thou shalt not take|strong="H3947" a wife|strong="H0802" of the daughters|strong="H1323" of Canaan|strong="H3667".

Arise|strong="H6965", go|strong="H3212" to Padan-aram|strong="H6307", to the house|strong="H1004" of Bethuel|strong="H1328" thy mother’s|strong="H0517" father|strong="H0001"; and take|strong="H3947" thee a wife|strong="H0802" from thence of the daughters|strong="H1323" of Laban|strong="H3837" thy mother’s|strong="H0517" brother|strong="H0251".

And God|strong="H0410" Almighty|strong="H7706" bless|strong="H1288" thee, and make thee fruitful|strong="H6509", and multiply|strong="H7235" thee, that thou mayest be a multitude|strong="H6951" of people|strong="H5971";

And give|strong="H5414" thee the blessing|strong="H1293" of Abraham|strong="H0085", to thee, and to thy seed|strong="H2233" with thee; that thou mayest inherit|strong="H3423" the land|strong="H0776" wherein thou art a stranger|strong="H4033", which God|strong="H0430" gave|strong="H5414" unto Abraham|strong="H0085".

And Isaac|strong="H3327" sent away|strong="H7971" Jacob|strong="H3290": and he went|strong="H3212" to Padan-aram|strong="H6307" unto Laban|strong="H3837", son|strong="H1121" of Bethuel|strong="H1328" the Syrian|strong="H0761", the brother|strong="H0251" of Rebekah|strong="H7259", Jacob’s|strong="H3290" and Esau’s|strong="H6215" mother|strong="H0517".

When Esau|strong="H6215" saw|strong="H7200" that Isaac|strong="H3327" had blessed|strong="H1288" Jacob|strong="H3290", and sent him away|strong="H7971" to Padan-aram|strong="H6307", to take|strong="H3947" him a wife|strong="H0802" from thence; and that as he blessed|strong="H1288" him he gave him a charge|strong="H6680", saying|strong="H0559", Thou shalt not take|strong="H3947" a wife|strong="H0802" of the daughters|strong="H1323" of Canaan|strong="H3667";

And that Jacob|strong="H3290" obeyed|strong="H8085" his father|strong="H0001" and his mother|strong="H0517", and was gone|strong="H3212" to Padan-aram|strong="H6307";

And Esau|strong="H6215" seeing|strong="H7200" that the daughters|strong="H1323" of Canaan|strong="H3667" pleased|strong="H5869" not|strong="H7451" Isaac|strong="H3327" his father|strong="H0001";

Then went|strong="H3212" Esau|strong="H6215" unto Ishmael|strong="H3458", and took|strong="H3947" unto the wives|strong="H0802" which he had Mahalath|strong="H4258" the daughter|strong="H1323" of Ishmael|strong="H3458" Abraham’s|strong="H0085" son|strong="H1121", the sister|strong="H0269" of Nebajoth|strong="H5032", to be his wife|strong="H0802".

And Jacob|strong="H3290" went out|strong="H3318" from Beer-sheba|strong="H0884", and went|strong="H3212" toward Haran|strong="H2771".

And he lighted|strong="H6293" upon a certain place|strong="H4725", and tarried there all night|strong="H3885", because the sun|strong="H8121" was set|strong="H0935"; and he took|strong="H3947" of the stones|strong="H0068" of that place|strong="H4725", and put|strong="H7760" them for his pillows|strong="H4763", and lay down|strong="H7901" in that place|strong="H4725" to sleep|strong="H7901".

And he dreamed|strong="H2492", and behold a ladder|strong="H5551" set up|strong="H5324" on the earth|strong="H0776", and the top of it|strong="H7218" reached|strong="H5060" to heaven|strong="H8064": and behold the angels|strong="H4397" of God|strong="H0430" ascending|strong="H5927" and descending|strong="H3381" on it.

And, behold, the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* stood|strong="H5324" above it, and said|strong="H0559", I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of Abraham|strong="H0085" thy father|strong="H0001", and the God|strong="H0430" of Isaac|strong="H3327": the land|strong="H0776" whereon thou liest|strong="H7901", to thee will I give it|strong="H5414", and to thy seed|strong="H2233";

And thy seed|strong="H2233" shall be as the dust|strong="H6083" of the earth|strong="H0776", and thou shalt spread abroad|strong="H6555" to the west|strong="H3220", and to the east|strong="H6924", and to the north|strong="H6828", and to the south|strong="H5045": and in thee and in thy seed|strong="H2233" shall all the families|strong="H4940" of the earth|strong="H0127" be blessed|strong="H1288".

And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep|strong="H8104" thee in all places whither|strong="H0834" thou goest|strong="H3212", and will bring thee again|strong="H7725" into this land|strong="H0127"; for I will not leave|strong="H5800" thee, until|strong="H0834" I have done|strong="H6213" that which I have spoken|strong="H1696" to thee of.

And Jacob|strong="H3290" awaked|strong="H3364" out of his sleep|strong="H8142", and he said|strong="H0559", Surely|strong="H0403" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is|strong="H3426" in this place|strong="H4725"; and I knew|strong="H3045" it not.

And he was afraid|strong="H3372", and said|strong="H0559", How dreadful|strong="H3372" is this place|strong="H4725"! this is none other but the house|strong="H1004" of God|strong="H0430", and this is the gate|strong="H8179" of heaven|strong="H8064".

And Jacob|strong="H3290" rose up early|strong="H7925" in the morning|strong="H1242", and took|strong="H3947" the stone|strong="H0068" that he had put|strong="H7760" for his pillows|strong="H4763", and set it up|strong="H7760" for a pillar|strong="H4676", and poured|strong="H3332" oil|strong="H8081" upon the top of it|strong="H7218".

And he called|strong="H7121" the name|strong="H8034" of that place|strong="H4725" Beth-el|strong="H1008": but|strong="H0199" the name|strong="H8034" of that city|strong="H5892" was called Luz|strong="H3870" at the first|strong="H7223".

And Jacob|strong="H3290" vowed|strong="H5087" a vow|strong="H5088", saying|strong="H0559", If God|strong="H0430" will be with me, and will keep me|strong="H8104" in this way|strong="H1870" that I go|strong="H1980", and will give|strong="H5414" me bread|strong="H3899" to eat|strong="H0398", and raiment|strong="H0899" to put on|strong="H3847",

So that I come again|strong="H7725" to my father’s|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004" in peace|strong="H7965"; then shall the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* be my God|strong="H0430":

And this stone|strong="H0068", which I have set|strong="H7760" for a pillar|strong="H4676", shall be God’s|strong="H0430" house|strong="H1004": and of all that thou shalt give|strong="H5414" me I will surely|strong="H6237" give the tenth|strong="H6237" unto thee.
