1 Moreover the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came unto me, saying|strong="H0559",
1 A palavra do Senhor foi-me dirigida nestes termos:
2 Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", set|strong="H7760" thy face|strong="H6440" against mount|strong="H2022" Seir|strong="H8165", and prophesy|strong="H5012" against it,
2 filho do homem, volta-te para o lado da montanha de Seir, e profetiza contra ela;
3 And say|strong="H0559" unto it, Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Behold, O mount|strong="H2022" Seir|strong="H8165", I am against thee, and I will stretch out|strong="H5186" mine hand|strong="H3027" against thee, and I will make|strong="H5414" thee most|strong="H4923" desolate|strong="H8077".
3 Dize-lhe: eis o que diz o Senhor Javé: é contra ti que venho, monte de Seir; eu vou levantar a mão contra ti. Farei de ti um deserto e uma solidão;
4 I will lay|strong="H7760" thy cities|strong="H5892" waste|strong="H2723", and thou shalt be desolate|strong="H8077", and thou shalt know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
4 reduzirei as tuas cidades a ruínas, a fim de que saibas que sou eu o Senhor.
5 Because thou hast had a perpetual|strong="H5769" hatred|strong="H0342", and hast shed|strong="H5064" the blood of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" by the force|strong="H3027" of the sword|strong="H2719" in the time|strong="H6256" of their calamity|strong="H0343", in the time|strong="H6256" that their iniquity|strong="H5771" had an end|strong="H7093":
5 Já que tens nutrido ódio eterno pelos israelitas, e os entregaste ao fio da espada no dia de sua aflição, e ao termo da sua iniqüidade,
6 Therefore, as I live|strong="H2416", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*, I will prepare|strong="H6213" thee unto blood|strong="H1818", and blood|strong="H1818" shall pursue|strong="H7291" thee: sith|strong="H0518" thou hast not hated|strong="H8130" blood|strong="H1818", even blood|strong="H1818" shall pursue|strong="H7291" thee.
6 pois bem: por minha vida - oráculo do Senhor Javé -, eu te entregarei ao sangue, e o sangue há de perseguir-te; porquanto não te horrorizes em derramar sangue, o sangue há de perseguir-te.
7 Thus will I make|strong="H5414" mount|strong="H2022" Seir|strong="H8165" most|strong="H8077" desolate|strong="H8077", and cut off|strong="H3772" from it him that passeth out|strong="H5674" and him that returneth|strong="H7725".
7 Farei da montanha de Seir um deserto e uma solidão, e suprimirei da terra todos os transeuntes.
8 And I will fill|strong="H4390" his mountains|strong="H2022" with his slain|strong="H2491" men: in thy hills|strong="H1389", and in thy valleys|strong="H1516", and in all thy rivers|strong="H0650", shall they fall|strong="H5307" that are slain|strong="H2491" with the sword|strong="H2719".
8 Cobrirei tuas montanhas de cadáveres: sobre teus outeiros, teus vales e tuas torrentes tombarão aqueles a quem corta o gládio.
9 I will make|strong="H5414" thee perpetual|strong="H5769" desolations|strong="H8077", and thy cities|strong="H5892" shall not return|strong="H7725": and ye shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
9 Reduzir-te-ei a solidões eternas; tuas cidades serão despovoadas. Assim saberás tu que eu é que sou o Senhor.
10 Because thou hast said|strong="H0559", These two|strong="H8147" nations|strong="H1471" and these two|strong="H8147" countries|strong="H0776" shall be mine, and we will possess|strong="H3423" it; whereas the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* was there:
10 Já que disseste: as duas nações, os dois países serão meus, e tomarei posse deles, ainda que o Senhor aí resida,
11 Therefore, as I live|strong="H2416", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*, I will even do|strong="H6213" according to thine anger|strong="H0639", and according to thine envy|strong="H7068" which thou hast used|strong="H6213" out of thy hatred|strong="H8135" against them; and I will make myself known|strong="H3045" among them, when I have judged|strong="H8199" thee.
11 pois bem: por minha vida - oráculo do Senhor Javé -, eu te tratarei com a mesma furiosa cólera com que os trataste, e far-me-ei conhecer no modo por que hei de exercer o meu julgamento contra ti.
12 And thou shalt know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and that I have heard|strong="H8085" all thy blasphemies|strong="H5007" which thou hast spoken|strong="H0559" against the mountains|strong="H2022" of Israel|strong="H3478", saying|strong="H0559", They are laid desolate|strong="H8074", they are given|strong="H5414" us to consume|strong="H0402".
12 Saberás que eu, o Senhor, ouvi todas as blasfêmias que proferiste contra as montanhas de Israel, quando dizias: ei-las devastadas! Elas nos são dadas como pasto.
13 Thus with your mouth|strong="H6310" ye have boasted|strong="H1431" against me, and have multiplied|strong="H6280" your words|strong="H1697" against me: I have heard|strong="H8085" them.
13 Haveis-me afrontado com uma multidão de palavras insolentes contra mim. Eu as ouvi.
14 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; When the whole earth|strong="H0776" rejoiceth|strong="H8055", I will make|strong="H6213" thee desolate|strong="H8077".
14 Eis o que diz o Senhor Javé:
15 As thou didst rejoice|strong="H8057" at the inheritance|strong="H5159" of the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478", because it was desolate|strong="H8074", so will I do|strong="H6213" unto thee: thou shalt be desolate|strong="H8077", O mount|strong="H2022" Seir|strong="H8165", and all Idumea|strong="H0123", even all of it: and they shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
15 enquanto toda a terra estiver em alegria, farei de ti uma solidão. Porque te tens alegrado com a devastação da herança da casa de Israel, eu te tratarei do mesmo modo: serás devastada, montanha de Seir, assim como toda a Iduméia. Assim reconhecerás que sou eu o Senhor.
