1 And the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came unto me, saying|strong="H0559",
2 Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", prophesy|strong="H5012" against the shepherds|strong="H7462" of Israel|strong="H3478", prophesy|strong="H5012", and say|strong="H0559" unto them, Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w* unto the shepherds|strong="H7462"; Woe|strong="H1945" be to the shepherds|strong="H7462" of Israel|strong="H3478" that do feed|strong="H7462" themselves! should not the shepherds|strong="H7462" feed|strong="H7462" the flocks|strong="H6629"?
3 Ye eat|strong="H0398" the fat|strong="H2459", and ye clothe|strong="H3847" you with the wool|strong="H6785", ye kill|strong="H2076" them that are fed|strong="H1277": but ye feed|strong="H7462" not the flock|strong="H6629".
4 The diseased|strong="H2470" have ye not strengthened|strong="H2388", neither have ye healed|strong="H7495" that which was sick|strong="H2470", neither have ye bound up|strong="H2280" that which was broken|strong="H7665", neither have ye brought again|strong="H7725" that which was driven away|strong="H5080", neither have ye sought|strong="H1245" that which was lost|strong="H0006"; but with force|strong="H2394" and with cruelty|strong="H6531" have ye ruled|strong="H7287" them.
5 And they were scattered|strong="H6327", because there is no shepherd|strong="H7462": and they became meat|strong="H0402" to all the beasts|strong="H2416" of the field|strong="H7704", when they were scattered|strong="H6327".
6 My sheep|strong="H6629" wandered|strong="H7686" through all the mountains|strong="H2022", and upon every high|strong="H7311" hill|strong="H1389": yea, my flock|strong="H6629" was scattered|strong="H6327" upon all the face|strong="H6440" of the earth|strong="H0776", and none did search|strong="H1875" or seek|strong="H1245" after them.
7 Therefore, ye shepherds|strong="H7462", hear|strong="H8085" the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*;
8 As I live|strong="H2416", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*, surely because my flock|strong="H6629" became a prey|strong="H0957", and my flock|strong="H6629" became meat|strong="H0402" to every beast|strong="H2416" of the field|strong="H7704", because there was no shepherd|strong="H7462", neither did my shepherds|strong="H7462" search|strong="H1875" for my flock|strong="H6629", but the shepherds|strong="H7462" fed|strong="H7462" themselves, and fed|strong="H7462" not my flock|strong="H6629";
9 Therefore, O ye shepherds|strong="H7462", hear|strong="H8085" the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*;
10 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Behold, I am against the shepherds|strong="H7462"; and I will require|strong="H1875" my flock|strong="H6629" at their hand|strong="H3027", and cause them to cease|strong="H7673" from feeding|strong="H7462" the flock|strong="H6629"; neither shall the shepherds|strong="H7462" feed|strong="H7462" themselves any more; for I will deliver|strong="H5337" my flock|strong="H6629" from their mouth|strong="H6310", that they may not be meat|strong="H0402" for them.
11 For thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Behold, I, even I, will both search|strong="H1875" my sheep|strong="H6629", and seek them out|strong="H1239".
12 As a shepherd|strong="H7462" seeketh out|strong="H1243" his flock|strong="H5739" in the day|strong="H3117" that he is among|strong="H8432" his sheep|strong="H6629" that are scattered|strong="H6567"; so will I seek out|strong="H1239" my sheep|strong="H6629", and will deliver|strong="H5337" them out of all places|strong="H4725" where they have been scattered|strong="H6327" in the cloudy|strong="H6051" and dark|strong="H6205" day|strong="H3117".
13 And I will bring them out|strong="H3318" from the people|strong="H5971", and gather|strong="H6908" them from the countries|strong="H0776", and will bring|strong="H0935" them to their own land|strong="H0127", and feed|strong="H7462" them upon the mountains|strong="H2022" of Israel|strong="H3478" by the rivers|strong="H0650", and in all the inhabited places|strong="H4186" of the country|strong="H0776".
14 I will feed|strong="H7462" them in a good|strong="H2896" pasture|strong="H4829", and upon the high|strong="H4791" mountains|strong="H2022" of Israel|strong="H3478" shall their fold|strong="H5116" be: there shall they lie|strong="H7257" in a good|strong="H2896" fold|strong="H5116", and in a fat|strong="H8082" pasture|strong="H4829" shall they feed|strong="H7462" upon the mountains|strong="H2022" of Israel|strong="H3478".
15 I will feed|strong="H7462" my flock|strong="H6629", and I will cause them to lie down|strong="H7257", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
16 I will seek|strong="H1245" that which was lost|strong="H0006", and bring again|strong="H7725" that which was driven away|strong="H5080", and will bind up|strong="H2280" that which was broken|strong="H7665", and will strengthen|strong="H2388" that which was sick|strong="H2470": but I will destroy|strong="H8045" the fat|strong="H8082" and the strong|strong="H2389"; I will feed|strong="H7462" them with judgment|strong="H4941".
17 And as for you|strong="H0859", O my flock|strong="H6629", thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Behold, I judge|strong="H8199" between cattle|strong="H7716" and cattle|strong="H7716", between the rams|strong="H0352" and the he goats|strong="H6260".
18 Seemeth it a small thing|strong="H4592" unto you to have eaten up|strong="H7462" the good|strong="H2896" pasture|strong="H4829", but ye must tread down|strong="H7429" with your feet|strong="H7272" the residue|strong="H3499" of your pastures|strong="H4829"? and to have drunk|strong="H8354" of the deep|strong="H4950" waters|strong="H4325", but ye must foul|strong="H7515" the residue|strong="H3498" with your feet|strong="H7272"?
19 And as for my flock|strong="H6629", they eat|strong="H7462" that which ye have trodden|strong="H4823" with your feet|strong="H7272"; and they drink|strong="H8354" that which ye have fouled|strong="H4833" with your feet|strong="H7272".
20 Therefore thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w* unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge|strong="H8199" between the fat|strong="H1274" cattle|strong="H7716" and between the lean|strong="H7330" cattle|strong="H7716".
21 Because ye have thrust|strong="H1920" with side|strong="H6654" and with shoulder|strong="H3802", and pushed|strong="H5055" all the diseased|strong="H2470" with your horns|strong="H7161", till ye have scattered|strong="H6327" them abroad|strong="H2351";
22 Therefore will I save|strong="H3467" my flock|strong="H6629", and they shall no more be a prey|strong="H0957"; and I will judge|strong="H8199" between cattle|strong="H7716" and cattle|strong="H7716".
23 And I will set up|strong="H6965" one|strong="H0259" shepherd|strong="H7462" over them, and he shall feed|strong="H7462" them, even my servant|strong="H5650" David|strong="H1732"; he shall feed|strong="H7462" them, and he shall be their shepherd|strong="H7462".
24 And I the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* will be their God|strong="H0430", and my servant|strong="H5650" David|strong="H1732" a prince|strong="H5387" among|strong="H8432" them; I the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* have spoken|strong="H1696" it.
25 And I will make|strong="H3772" with them a covenant|strong="H1285" of peace|strong="H7965", and will cause the evil|strong="H7451" beasts|strong="H2416" to cease|strong="H7673" out of the land|strong="H0776": and they shall dwell|strong="H3427" safely|strong="H0983" in the wilderness|strong="H4057", and sleep|strong="H3462" in the woods|strong="H3293".
26 And I will make|strong="H5414" them and the places round about|strong="H5439" my hill|strong="H1389" a blessing|strong="H1293"; and I will cause the shower|strong="H1653" to come down|strong="H3381" in his season|strong="H6256"; there shall be showers|strong="H1653" of blessing|strong="H1293".
27 And the tree|strong="H6086" of the field|strong="H7704" shall yield|strong="H5414" her fruit|strong="H6529", and the earth|strong="H0776" shall yield|strong="H5414" her increase|strong="H2981", and they shall be safe|strong="H0983" in their land|strong="H0127", and shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, when I have broken|strong="H7665" the bands|strong="H4133" of their yoke|strong="H5923", and delivered|strong="H5337" them out of the hand|strong="H3027" of those that served|strong="H5647" themselves of them.
28 And they shall no more be a prey|strong="H0957" to the heathen|strong="H1471", neither shall the beast|strong="H2416" of the land|strong="H0776" devour|strong="H0398" them; but they shall dwell|strong="H3427" safely|strong="H0983", and none shall make them afraid|strong="H2729".
29 And I will raise up|strong="H6965" for them a plant|strong="H4302" of renown|strong="H8034", and they shall be no more consumed|strong="H0622" with hunger|strong="H7458" in the land|strong="H0776", neither bear|strong="H5375" the shame|strong="H3639" of the heathen|strong="H1471" any more.
30 Thus shall they know|strong="H3045" that I the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* their God|strong="H0430" am with them, and that they, even the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478", are my people|strong="H5971", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
31 And ye|strong="H0859" my flock|strong="H6629", the flock|strong="H6629" of my pasture|strong="H4830", are men|strong="H0120", and I am your God|strong="H0430", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
