1 And he said|strong="H0559" unto me, Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", stand|strong="H5975" upon thy feet|strong="H7272", and I will speak|strong="H1696" unto thee.
1 Quando vi isso, caí e encostei o rosto no chão. Então ouvi uma voz que dizia: —
2 And the spirit|strong="H7307" entered|strong="H0935" into me when he spake|strong="H1696" unto me, and set|strong="H5975" me upon my feet|strong="H7272", that I heard|strong="H8085" him that spake|strong="H1696" unto me.
2 Enquanto a voz falava, o Espírito de Deus entrou em mim e me fez ficar em pé. E eu ouvi a voz dizer:
3 And he said|strong="H0559" unto me, Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", I send|strong="H7971" thee to the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", to a rebellious|strong="H4775" nation|strong="H1471" that hath rebelled|strong="H4775" against me: they and their fathers|strong="H0001" have transgressed|strong="H6586" against me, even unto this very|strong="H6106" day|strong="H3117".
3 — Homem mortal, eu o estou mandando ao povo de Israel, que se revoltou e se virou contra mim. Eles ainda são rebeldes, como os antepassados deles também eram.
4 For they are impudent|strong="H7186" children|strong="H1121" and stiffhearted|strong="H2389". I do send|strong="H7971" thee unto them; and thou shalt say|strong="H0559" unto them, Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
4 São teimosos e não me respeitam. Estou mandando você para dizer a eles aquilo que eu, o Senhor Deus, quero dizer.
5 And they, whether they will hear|strong="H8085", or whether they will forbear|strong="H2308", (for they are a rebellious|strong="H4805" house|strong="H1004",) yet shall know|strong="H3045" that there hath been a prophet|strong="H5030" among|strong="H8432" them.
5 Tanto se derem atenção a você como se não derem, eles vão saber que um profeta esteve no meio deles.
6 And thou, son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", be not afraid|strong="H3372" of them, neither be afraid|strong="H3372" of their words|strong="H1697", though briers|strong="H5621" and thorns|strong="H5544" be with thee, and thou dost dwell|strong="H3427" among scorpions|strong="H6137": be not afraid|strong="H3372" of their words|strong="H1697", nor be dismayed|strong="H2865" at their looks|strong="H6440", though they be a rebellious|strong="H4805" house|strong="H1004".
6 — Mas você, homem mortal, não precisa ficar com medo deles, nem do que eles disserem. Eles o desafiarão e desprezarão; viver no meio deles será como viver no meio de escorpiões. Mesmo assim, não tenha medo daqueles rebeldes, nem de qualquer coisa que eles disserem.
7 And thou shalt speak|strong="H1696" my words|strong="H1697" unto them, whether they will hear|strong="H8085", or whether they will forbear|strong="H2308": for they are most rebellious|strong="H4805".
7 Diga-lhes tudo o que eu mandar, quer eles lhe deem atenção ou não. Lembre que eles são teimosos.
8 But thou, son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", hear|strong="H8085" what I say|strong="H1696" unto thee; Be not|strong="H1961" thou rebellious|strong="H4805" like that rebellious|strong="H4805" house|strong="H1004": open|strong="H6475" thy mouth|strong="H6310", and eat|strong="H0398" that I give|strong="H5414" thee.
8 — Homem mortal, preste atenção no que eu estou dizendo. Não seja teimoso como eles. Abra a boca e coma o que vou dar a você.
9 And when I looked|strong="H7200", behold, an hand|strong="H3027" was sent|strong="H7971" unto me; and, lo, a roll|strong="H4039" of a book|strong="H5612" was therein;
9 Aí eu vi uma mão que se estendia para mim, segurando um rolo.
10 And he spread|strong="H6566" it before|strong="H6440" me; and it was written|strong="H3789" within|strong="H6440" and without|strong="H0268": and there was written|strong="H3789" therein lamentations|strong="H7015", and mourning|strong="H1899", and woe|strong="H1958".
10 Ela o desenrolou, e vi que nos dois lados havia coisas escritas. E o que estava escrito eram gritos de dor, lamentos e gemidos.
