1 The word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came again unto me, saying|strong="H0559",
2 Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", set|strong="H7760" thy face|strong="H6440" against the Ammonites|strong="H1121", and prophesy|strong="H5012" against them;
3 And say|strong="H0559" unto the Ammonites|strong="H1121", Hear|strong="H8085" the word|strong="H1697" of the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Because thou saidst|strong="H0559", Aha|strong="H1889", against my sanctuary|strong="H4720", when it was profaned|strong="H2490"; and against the land|strong="H0127" of Israel|strong="H3478", when it was desolate|strong="H8074"; and against the house|strong="H1004" of Judah|strong="H3063", when they went|strong="H1980" into captivity|strong="H1473";
4 Behold, therefore I will deliver|strong="H5414" thee to the men|strong="H1121" of the east|strong="H6924" for a possession|strong="H4181", and they shall set|strong="H3427" their palaces|strong="H2918" in thee, and make|strong="H5414" their dwellings|strong="H4908" in thee: they shall eat|strong="H0398" thy fruit|strong="H6529", and they shall drink|strong="H8354" thy milk|strong="H2461".
5 And I will make|strong="H5414" Rabbah|strong="H7237" a stable|strong="H5116" for camels|strong="H1581", and the Ammonites|strong="H1121" a couchingplace|strong="H4769" for flocks|strong="H6629": and ye shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
6 For thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Because thou hast clapped|strong="H4222" thine hands|strong="H3027", and stamped|strong="H7554" with the feet|strong="H7272", and rejoiced|strong="H8055" in heart|strong="H5315" with all thy despite|strong="H7589" against the land|strong="H0127" of Israel|strong="H3478";
7 Behold, therefore I will stretch out|strong="H5186" mine hand|strong="H3027" upon thee, and will deliver|strong="H5414" thee for a spoil|strong="H0957" to the heathen|strong="H1471"; and I will cut thee off|strong="H3772" from the people|strong="H5971", and I will cause thee to perish|strong="H0006" out of the countries|strong="H0776": I will destroy|strong="H8045" thee; and thou shalt know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
8 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Because|strong="H3282" that Moab|strong="H4124" and Seir|strong="H8165" do say|strong="H0559", Behold, the house|strong="H1004" of Judah|strong="H3063" is like unto all the heathen|strong="H1471";
9 Therefore, behold, I will open|strong="H6605" the side|strong="H3802" of Moab|strong="H4124" from the cities|strong="H5892", from his cities|strong="H5892" which are on his frontiers|strong="H7097", the glory|strong="H6643" of the country|strong="H0776", Beth-jeshimoth|strong="H1020", Baal-meon|strong="H1186", and Kiriathaim|strong="H7156",
10 Unto the men|strong="H1121" of the east|strong="H6924" with the Ammonites|strong="H1121", and will give|strong="H5414" them in possession|strong="H4181", that the Ammonites|strong="H1121" may not be remembered|strong="H2142" among the nations|strong="H1471".
11 And I will execute|strong="H6213" judgments|strong="H8201" upon Moab|strong="H4124"; and they shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
12 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Because that Edom|strong="H0123" hath dealt|strong="H6213" against the house|strong="H1004" of Judah|strong="H3063" by taking|strong="H5358" vengeance|strong="H5359", and hath greatly|strong="H0816" offended|strong="H0816", and revenged|strong="H5358" himself upon them;
13 Therefore thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; I will also stretch out|strong="H5186" mine hand|strong="H3027" upon Edom|strong="H0123", and will cut off|strong="H3772" man|strong="H0120" and beast|strong="H0929" from it; and I will make|strong="H5414" it desolate|strong="H2723" from Teman|strong="H8487"; and they of Dedan|strong="H1719" shall fall|strong="H5307" by the sword|strong="H2719".
14 And I will lay|strong="H5414" my vengeance|strong="H5360" upon Edom|strong="H0123" by the hand|strong="H3027" of my people|strong="H5971" Israel|strong="H3478": and they shall do|strong="H6213" in Edom|strong="H0123" according to mine anger|strong="H0639" and according to my fury|strong="H2534"; and they shall know|strong="H3045" my vengeance|strong="H5360", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
15 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Because the Philistines|strong="H6430" have dealt|strong="H6213" by revenge|strong="H5360", and have taken|strong="H5358" vengeance|strong="H5359" with a despiteful|strong="H7589" heart|strong="H5315", to destroy|strong="H4889" it for the old|strong="H5769" hatred|strong="H0342";
16 Therefore thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Behold, I will stretch out|strong="H5186" mine hand|strong="H3027" upon the Philistines|strong="H6430", and I will cut off|strong="H3772" the Cherethims|strong="H3774", and destroy|strong="H0006" the remnant|strong="H7611" of the sea|strong="H3220" coast|strong="H2348".
17 And I will execute|strong="H6213" great|strong="H1419" vengeance|strong="H5360" upon them with furious|strong="H2534" rebukes|strong="H8433"; and they shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, when I shall lay|strong="H5414" my vengeance|strong="H5360" upon them.
