1 And thou shalt make|strong="H6213" an altar|strong="H4196" to burn|strong="H4729" incense|strong="H7004" upon: of shittim|strong="H7848" wood|strong="H6086" shalt thou make|strong="H6213" it.
2 A cubit|strong="H0520" shall be the length|strong="H0753" thereof, and a cubit|strong="H0520" the breadth|strong="H7341" thereof; foursquare|strong="H7251" shall it be: and two cubits|strong="H0520" shall be the height|strong="H6967" thereof: the horns|strong="H7161" thereof shall be of the same.
3 And thou shalt overlay|strong="H6823" it with pure|strong="H2889" gold|strong="H2091", the top|strong="H1406" thereof, and the sides|strong="H7023" thereof round about|strong="H5439", and the horns|strong="H7161" thereof; and thou shalt make|strong="H6213" unto it a crown|strong="H2213" of gold|strong="H2091" round about|strong="H5439".
4 And two|strong="H8147" golden|strong="H2091" rings|strong="H2885" shalt thou make|strong="H6213" to it under the crown|strong="H2213" of it, by the two|strong="H8147" corners|strong="H6763" thereof, upon the two|strong="H8147" sides|strong="H6654" of it shalt thou make|strong="H6213" it; and they shall be for places|strong="H1004" for the staves|strong="H0905" to bear|strong="H5375" it withal|strong="H1992".
5 And thou shalt make|strong="H6213" the staves|strong="H0905" of shittim|strong="H7848" wood|strong="H6086", and overlay|strong="H6823" them with gold|strong="H2091".
6 And thou shalt put|strong="H5414" it before|strong="H6440" the vail|strong="H6532" that is by the ark|strong="H0727" of the testimony|strong="H5715", before|strong="H6440" the mercy seat|strong="H3727" that is over the testimony|strong="H5715", where I will meet|strong="H3259" with thee.
7 And Aaron|strong="H0175" shall burn|strong="H6999" thereon sweet|strong="H5561" incense|strong="H7004" every morning|strong="H1242": when he dresseth|strong="H3190" the lamps|strong="H5216", he shall burn incense|strong="H6999" upon it.
8 And when Aaron|strong="H0175" lighteth|strong="H5927" the lamps|strong="H5216" at even|strong="H6153", he shall burn incense|strong="H6999" upon it, a perpetual|strong="H8548" incense|strong="H7004" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* throughout your generations|strong="H1755".
9 Ye shall offer|strong="H5927" no strange|strong="H2114" incense|strong="H7004" thereon, nor burnt sacrifice|strong="H5930", nor meat offering|strong="H4503"; neither shall ye pour|strong="H5258" drink offering|strong="H5262" thereon.
10 And Aaron|strong="H0175" shall make an atonement|strong="H3722" upon the horns|strong="H7161" of it once|strong="H0259" in a year|strong="H8141" with the blood|strong="H1818" of the sin offering|strong="H2403" of atonements|strong="H3725": once|strong="H0259" in the year|strong="H8141" shall he make atonement|strong="H3722" upon it throughout your generations|strong="H1755": it is most|strong="H6944" holy|strong="H6944" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
11 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H1696" unto Moses|strong="H4872", saying|strong="H0559",
12 When thou takest|strong="H5375" the sum|strong="H7218" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" after their number|strong="H6485", then shall they give|strong="H5414" every man|strong="H0376" a ransom|strong="H3724" for his soul|strong="H5315" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, when thou numberest|strong="H6485" them; that there be no plague|strong="H5063" among them, when thou numberest|strong="H6485" them.
13 This they shall give|strong="H5414", every one that passeth|strong="H5674" among|strong="H5921" them that are numbered|strong="H6485", half|strong="H4276" a shekel|strong="H8255" after the shekel|strong="H8255" of the sanctuary|strong="H6944": (a shekel|strong="H8255" is twenty|strong="H6242" gerahs|strong="H1626":) an half|strong="H4276" shekel|strong="H8255" shall be the offering|strong="H8641" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
14 Every one that passeth|strong="H5674" among them that are numbered|strong="H6485", from twenty|strong="H6242" years|strong="H8141" old|strong="H1121" and above|strong="H4605", shall give|strong="H5414" an offering|strong="H8641" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
15 The rich|strong="H6223" shall not give more|strong="H7235", and the poor|strong="H1800" shall not give less|strong="H4591" than half|strong="H4276" a shekel|strong="H8255", when they give|strong="H5414" an offering|strong="H8641" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, to make an atonement|strong="H3722" for your souls|strong="H5315".
16 And thou shalt take|strong="H3947" the atonement|strong="H3725" money|strong="H3701" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", and shalt appoint|strong="H5414" it for the service|strong="H5656" of the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150"; that it may be a memorial|strong="H2146" unto the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, to make an atonement|strong="H3722" for your souls|strong="H5315".
17 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H1696" unto Moses|strong="H4872", saying|strong="H0559",
18 Thou shalt also make|strong="H6213" a laver|strong="H3595" of brass|strong="H5178", and his foot|strong="H3653" also of brass|strong="H5178", to wash|strong="H7364" withal: and thou shalt put|strong="H5414" it between the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150" and the altar|strong="H4196", and thou shalt put|strong="H5414" water|strong="H4325" therein.
19 For Aaron|strong="H0175" and his sons|strong="H1121" shall wash|strong="H7364" their hands|strong="H3027" and their feet|strong="H7272" thereat:
20 When they go|strong="H0935" into the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150", they shall wash|strong="H7364" with water|strong="H4325", that they die|strong="H4191" not; or when they come near|strong="H5066" to the altar|strong="H4196" to minister|strong="H8334", to burn offering|strong="H6999" made by fire|strong="H0801" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*:
21 So they shall wash|strong="H7364" their hands|strong="H3027" and their feet|strong="H7272", that they die|strong="H4191" not: and it shall be a statute|strong="H2706" for ever|strong="H5769" to them, even to him and to his seed|strong="H2233" throughout their generations|strong="H1755".
22 Moreover the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H1696" unto Moses|strong="H4872", saying|strong="H0559",
23 Take|strong="H3947" thou also unto thee principal|strong="H7218" spices|strong="H1314", of pure|strong="H1865" myrrh|strong="H4753" five|strong="H2568" hundred|strong="H3967" shekels, and of sweet|strong="H1314" cinnamon|strong="H7076" half|strong="H4276" so much|strong="H4276", even two hundred|strong="H3967" and fifty|strong="H2572" shekels, and of sweet|strong="H1314" calamus|strong="H7070" two hundred|strong="H3967" and fifty|strong="H2572" shekels,
24 And of cassia|strong="H6916" five|strong="H2568" hundred|strong="H3967" shekels, after the shekel|strong="H8255" of the sanctuary|strong="H6944", and of oil|strong="H8081" olive|strong="H2132" an hin|strong="H1969":
25 And thou shalt make|strong="H6213" it an oil|strong="H8081" of holy|strong="H6944" ointment|strong="H4888", an ointment|strong="H7545" compound|strong="H4842" after the art|strong="H4639" of the apothecary|strong="H7543": it shall be an holy|strong="H6944" anointing|strong="H4888" oil|strong="H8081".
26 And thou shalt anoint|strong="H4886" the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150" therewith, and the ark|strong="H0727" of the testimony|strong="H5715",
27 And the table|strong="H7979" and all his vessels|strong="H3627", and the candlestick|strong="H4501" and his vessels|strong="H3627", and the altar|strong="H4196" of incense|strong="H7004",
28 And the altar|strong="H4196" of burnt offering|strong="H5930" with all his vessels|strong="H3627", and the laver|strong="H3595" and his foot|strong="H3653".
29 And thou shalt sanctify|strong="H6942" them, that they may be most|strong="H6944" holy|strong="H6944": whatsoever toucheth|strong="H5060" them shall be holy|strong="H6942".
30 And thou shalt anoint|strong="H4886" Aaron|strong="H0175" and his sons|strong="H1121", and consecrate|strong="H6942" them, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office|strong="H3547".
31 And thou shalt speak|strong="H1696" unto the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", saying|strong="H0559", This shall be an holy|strong="H6944" anointing|strong="H4888" oil|strong="H8081" unto me throughout your generations|strong="H1755".
32 Upon man’s|strong="H0120" flesh|strong="H1320" shall it not be poured|strong="H3251", neither shall ye make|strong="H6213" any other like it, after the composition|strong="H4971" of it: it is holy|strong="H6944", and it shall be holy|strong="H6944" unto you.
33 Whosoever|strong="H0834" compoundeth|strong="H7543" any like it, or whosoever putteth|strong="H5414" any of it upon a stranger|strong="H2114", shall even be cut|strong="H3772" off from his people|strong="H5971".
34 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872", Take|strong="H3947" unto thee sweet spices|strong="H5561", stacte|strong="H5198", and onycha|strong="H7827", and galbanum|strong="H2464"; these sweet|strong="H5561" spices|strong="H5561" with pure|strong="H2134" frankincense|strong="H3828": of each|strong="H0905" shall there be a like|strong="H0905" weight:
35 And thou shalt make|strong="H6213" it a perfume|strong="H7004", a confection|strong="H7545" after the art|strong="H4639" of the apothecary|strong="H7543", tempered|strong="H4414" together, pure|strong="H2889" and holy|strong="H6944":
36 And thou shalt beat|strong="H7833" some of it very small|strong="H1854", and put|strong="H5414" of it before|strong="H6440" the testimony|strong="H5715" in the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150", where I will meet|strong="H3259" with thee: it shall be unto you most|strong="H6944" holy|strong="H6944".
37 And as for the perfume|strong="H7004" which thou shalt make|strong="H6213", ye shall not make|strong="H6213" to yourselves according to the composition|strong="H4971" thereof: it shall be unto thee holy|strong="H6944" for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
38 Whosoever|strong="H0834" shall make|strong="H6213" like unto that, to smell|strong="H7306" thereto, shall even be cut off|strong="H3772" from his people|strong="H5971".
