And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872", Go|strong="H0935" in unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547": for I have hardened|strong="H3513" his heart|strong="H3820", and the heart|strong="H3820" of his servants|strong="H5650", that I might shew|strong="H7896" these my signs|strong="H0226" before|strong="H7130" him:
And that thou mayest tell|strong="H5608" in the ears|strong="H0241" of thy son|strong="H1121", and of thy son’s|strong="H1121" son|strong="H1121", what things I have wrought|strong="H5953" in Egypt|strong="H4714", and my signs|strong="H0226" which I have done|strong="H7760" among them; that ye may know|strong="H3045" how that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
And Moses|strong="H4872" and Aaron|strong="H0175" came in|strong="H0935" unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547", and said|strong="H0559" unto him, Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of the Hebrews|strong="H5680", How long|strong="H4970" wilt thou refuse|strong="H3985" to humble|strong="H6031" thyself before|strong="H6440" me? let my people|strong="H5971" go|strong="H7971", that they may serve|strong="H5647" me.
Else|strong="H3588", if thou refuse|strong="H3986" to let my people|strong="H5971" go|strong="H7971", behold, to morrow|strong="H4279" will I bring|strong="H0935" the locusts|strong="H0697" into thy coast|strong="H1366":
And they shall cover|strong="H3680" the face|strong="H5869" of the earth|strong="H0776", that one cannot be able|strong="H3201" to see|strong="H7200" the earth|strong="H0776": and they shall eat|strong="H0398" the residue|strong="H3499" of that which is escaped|strong="H6413", which remaineth|strong="H7604" unto you from the hail|strong="H1259", and shall eat|strong="H0398" every tree|strong="H6086" which groweth|strong="H6779" for you out of the field|strong="H7704":
And they shall fill|strong="H4390" thy houses|strong="H1004", and the houses|strong="H1004" of all thy servants|strong="H5650", and the houses|strong="H1004" of all the Egyptians|strong="H4714"; which neither thy fathers|strong="H0001", nor thy fathers’|strong="H0001" fathers|strong="H0001" have seen|strong="H7200", since the day|strong="H3117" that they were upon the earth|strong="H0127" unto this day|strong="H3117". And he turned|strong="H6437" himself, and went out|strong="H3318" from Pharaoh|strong="H6547".
And Pharaoh’s|strong="H6547" servants|strong="H5650" said|strong="H0559" unto him, How long shall this man be a snare|strong="H4170" unto us? let the men|strong="H0582" go|strong="H7971", that they may serve|strong="H5647" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* their God|strong="H0430": knowest|strong="H3045" thou not yet|strong="H2962" that Egypt|strong="H4714" is destroyed|strong="H0006"?
And Moses|strong="H4872" and Aaron|strong="H0175" were brought again|strong="H7725" unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547": and he said|strong="H0559" unto them, Go|strong="H3212", serve|strong="H5647" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430": but who are they that shall go|strong="H1980"?
And Moses|strong="H4872" said|strong="H0559", We will go|strong="H3212" with our young|strong="H5288" and with our old|strong="H2205", with our sons|strong="H1121" and with our daughters|strong="H1323", with our flocks|strong="H6629" and with our herds|strong="H1241" will we go|strong="H3212"; for we must hold a feast|strong="H2282" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
And he said|strong="H0559" unto them, Let the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* be so with you, as I will let you go|strong="H7971", and your little ones|strong="H2945": look|strong="H7200" to it; for evil|strong="H7451" is before|strong="H6440" you.
Not so: go|strong="H3212" now ye that are men|strong="H1397", and serve|strong="H5647" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; for that ye did desire|strong="H1245". And they were driven out|strong="H1644" from Pharaoh’s|strong="H6547" presence|strong="H6440".
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872", Stretch out|strong="H5186" thine hand|strong="H3027" over the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714" for the locusts|strong="H0697", that they may come up|strong="H5927" upon the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and eat|strong="H0398" every herb|strong="H6212" of the land|strong="H0776", even all that the hail|strong="H1259" hath left|strong="H7604".
And Moses|strong="H4872" stretched forth|strong="H5186" his rod|strong="H4294" over the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* brought|strong="H5090" an east|strong="H6921" wind|strong="H7307" upon the land|strong="H0776" all that day|strong="H3117", and all that night|strong="H3915"; and when it was morning|strong="H1242", the east|strong="H6921" wind|strong="H7307" brought|strong="H5375" the locusts|strong="H0697".
And the locusts|strong="H0697" went up|strong="H5927" over all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and rested|strong="H5117" in all the coasts|strong="H1366" of Egypt|strong="H4714": very|strong="H3966" grievous|strong="H3515" were they; before|strong="H6440" them there were no such|strong="H3651" locusts|strong="H0697" as they, neither after|strong="H0310" them shall be such.
For they covered|strong="H3680" the face|strong="H5869" of the whole earth|strong="H0776", so that the land|strong="H0776" was darkened|strong="H2821"; and they did eat|strong="H0398" every herb|strong="H6212" of the land|strong="H0776", and all the fruit|strong="H6529" of the trees|strong="H6086" which the hail|strong="H1259" had left|strong="H3498": and there remained|strong="H3498" not any green thing|strong="H3418" in the trees|strong="H6086", or in the herbs|strong="H6212" of the field|strong="H7704", through all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".
Then Pharaoh|strong="H6547" called|strong="H7121" for Moses|strong="H4872" and Aaron|strong="H0175" in haste|strong="H4116"; and he said|strong="H0559", I have sinned|strong="H2398" against the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430", and against you.
Now therefore forgive|strong="H5375", I pray thee, my sin|strong="H2403" only this once|strong="H6471", and intreat|strong="H6279" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430", that he may take away|strong="H5493" from me this death|strong="H4194" only.
And he went out|strong="H3318" from Pharaoh|strong="H6547", and intreated|strong="H6279" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* turned|strong="H2015" a mighty|strong="H3966" strong|strong="H2389" west|strong="H3220" wind|strong="H7307", which took away|strong="H5375" the locusts|strong="H0697", and cast|strong="H8628" them into the Red|strong="H5488" sea|strong="H3220"; there remained|strong="H7604" not one|strong="H0259" locust|strong="H0697" in all the coasts|strong="H1366" of Egypt|strong="H4714".
But the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hardened|strong="H2388" Pharaoh’s|strong="H6547" heart|strong="H3820", so that he would not let the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" go|strong="H7971".
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872", Stretch out|strong="H5186" thine hand|strong="H3027" toward heaven|strong="H8064", that there may be darkness|strong="H2822" over the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714", even darkness|strong="H2822" which may be felt|strong="H4959".
And Moses|strong="H4872" stretched forth|strong="H5186" his hand|strong="H3027" toward heaven|strong="H8064"; and there was a thick|strong="H0653" darkness|strong="H2822" in all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714" three|strong="H7969" days|strong="H3117":
They saw|strong="H7200" not one|strong="H0376" another|strong="H0251", neither rose|strong="H6965" any|strong="H0376" from his place for three|strong="H7969" days|strong="H3117": but all the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" had light|strong="H0216" in their dwellings|strong="H4186".
And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" called|strong="H7121" unto Moses|strong="H4872", and said|strong="H0559", Go|strong="H3212" ye, serve|strong="H5647" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; only let your flocks|strong="H6629" and your herds|strong="H1241" be stayed|strong="H3322": let your little ones|strong="H2945" also go|strong="H3212" with you.
And Moses|strong="H4872" said|strong="H0559", Thou must give|strong="H5414" us|strong="H3027" also sacrifices|strong="H2077" and burnt offerings|strong="H5930", that we may sacrifice|strong="H6213" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* our God|strong="H0430".
Our cattle|strong="H4735" also shall go|strong="H3212" with us; there shall not an hoof|strong="H6541" be left behind|strong="H7604"; for thereof must we take|strong="H3947" to serve|strong="H5647" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* our God|strong="H0430"; and we know|strong="H3045" not with what we must serve|strong="H5647" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, until we come|strong="H0935" thither.
But the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hardened|strong="H2388" Pharaoh’s|strong="H6547" heart|strong="H3820", and he would|strong="H0014" not let them go|strong="H7971".
And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" said|strong="H0559" unto him, Get|strong="H3212" thee from me, take heed|strong="H8104" to thyself, see|strong="H7200" my face|strong="H6440" no more|strong="H3254"; for in that day|strong="H3117" thou seest|strong="H7200" my face|strong="H6440" thou shalt die|strong="H4191".
And Moses|strong="H4872" said|strong="H0559", Thou hast spoken|strong="H1696" well|strong="H3651", I will see|strong="H7200" thy face|strong="H6440" again|strong="H3254" no more.
