Êxodo 9

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

Then the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872", Go|strong="H0935" in unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547", and tell|strong="H1696" him, Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of the Hebrews|strong="H5680", Let my people|strong="H5971" go|strong="H7971", that they may serve|strong="H5647" me.

For if thou refuse|strong="H3986" to let them go|strong="H7971", and wilt hold|strong="H2388" them still,

Behold, the hand|strong="H3027" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is|strong="H1961" upon thy cattle|strong="H4735" which is in the field|strong="H7704", upon the horses|strong="H5483", upon the asses|strong="H2543", upon the camels|strong="H1581", upon the oxen|strong="H1241", and upon the sheep|strong="H6629": there shall be a very|strong="H3966" grievous|strong="H3515" murrain|strong="H1698".

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall sever|strong="H6395" between the cattle|strong="H4735" of Israel|strong="H3478" and the cattle|strong="H4735" of Egypt|strong="H4714": and there shall nothing|strong="H1697" die|strong="H4191" of all that is the children’s|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478".

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* appointed|strong="H7760" a set time|strong="H4150", saying|strong="H0559", To morrow|strong="H4279" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall do|strong="H6213" this thing|strong="H1697" in the land|strong="H0776".

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* did|strong="H6213" that thing|strong="H1697" on the morrow|strong="H4283", and all the cattle|strong="H4735" of Egypt|strong="H4714" died|strong="H4191": but of the cattle|strong="H4735" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" died|strong="H4191" not one|strong="H0259".

And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" sent|strong="H7971", and, behold, there was not one|strong="H0259" of the cattle|strong="H4735" of the Israelites|strong="H3478" dead|strong="H4191". And the heart|strong="H3820" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547" was hardened|strong="H3513", and he did not let the people|strong="H5971" go|strong="H7971".

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872" and unto Aaron|strong="H0175", Take|strong="H3947" to you handfuls|strong="H2651" of ashes|strong="H6368" of the furnace|strong="H3536", and let Moses|strong="H4872" sprinkle|strong="H2236" it toward the heaven|strong="H8064" in the sight|strong="H5869" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547".

And it shall become small dust|strong="H0080" in all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and shall be a boil|strong="H7822" breaking forth|strong="H6524" with blains|strong="H0076" upon man|strong="H0120", and upon beast|strong="H0929", throughout all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".

And they took|strong="H3947" ashes|strong="H6368" of the furnace|strong="H3536", and stood|strong="H5975" before|strong="H6440" Pharaoh|strong="H6547"; and Moses|strong="H4872" sprinkled|strong="H2236" it up toward heaven|strong="H8064"; and it became a boil|strong="H7822" breaking forth|strong="H6524" with blains|strong="H0076" upon man|strong="H0120", and upon beast|strong="H0929".

And the magicians|strong="H2748" could|strong="H3201" not stand|strong="H5975" before|strong="H6440" Moses|strong="H4872" because|strong="H6440" of the boils|strong="H7822"; for the boil|strong="H7822" was upon the magicians|strong="H2748", and upon all the Egyptians|strong="H4714".

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hardened|strong="H2388" the heart|strong="H3820" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547", and he hearkened|strong="H8085" not unto them; as the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had spoken|strong="H1696" unto Moses|strong="H4872".

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872", Rise up early|strong="H7925" in the morning|strong="H1242", and stand|strong="H3320" before|strong="H6440" Pharaoh|strong="H6547", and say|strong="H0559" unto him, Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of the Hebrews|strong="H5680", Let my people|strong="H5971" go|strong="H7971", that they may serve|strong="H5647" me.

For I will at this time|strong="H6471" send|strong="H7971" all my plagues|strong="H4046" upon thine heart|strong="H3820", and upon thy servants|strong="H5650", and upon thy people|strong="H5971"; that thou mayest know|strong="H3045" that there is none like me in all the earth|strong="H0776".

For now I will stretch out|strong="H7971" my hand|strong="H3027", that I may smite|strong="H5221" thee and thy people|strong="H5971" with pestilence|strong="H1698"; and thou shalt be cut off|strong="H3582" from the earth|strong="H0776".

And in very|strong="H0199" deed|strong="H5668" for this cause have I raised thee up|strong="H5975", for to shew|strong="H7200" in thee my power|strong="H3581"; and that my name|strong="H8034" may be declared|strong="H5608" throughout all the earth|strong="H0776".

As yet exaltest|strong="H5549" thou thyself against my people|strong="H5971", that thou wilt not let them go|strong="H7971"?

Behold, to morrow|strong="H4279" about this time|strong="H6256" I will cause it to rain|strong="H4305" a very|strong="H3966" grievous|strong="H3515" hail|strong="H1259", such as hath not been|strong="H3644" in Egypt|strong="H4714" since|strong="H4480" the foundation|strong="H3117" thereof even until now.

Send|strong="H7971" therefore now, and gather|strong="H5756" thy cattle|strong="H4735", and all that thou hast in the field|strong="H7704"; for upon every man|strong="H0120" and beast|strong="H0929" which shall be found|strong="H4672" in the field|strong="H7704", and shall not be brought|strong="H0622" home|strong="H1004", the hail|strong="H1259" shall come down|strong="H3381" upon them, and they shall die|strong="H4191".

He that feared|strong="H3373" the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* among the servants|strong="H5650" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547" made his servants|strong="H5650" and his cattle|strong="H4735" flee|strong="H5127" into the houses|strong="H1004":

And he that regarded|strong="H7760" not the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* left|strong="H5800" his servants|strong="H5650" and his cattle|strong="H4735" in the field|strong="H7704".

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872", Stretch forth|strong="H5186" thine hand|strong="H3027" toward heaven|strong="H8064", that there may be hail|strong="H1259" in all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714", upon man|strong="H0120", and upon beast|strong="H0929", and upon every herb|strong="H6212" of the field|strong="H7704", throughout the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".

And Moses|strong="H4872" stretched forth|strong="H5186" his rod|strong="H4294" toward heaven|strong="H8064": and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* sent|strong="H5414" thunder|strong="H6963" and hail|strong="H1259", and the fire|strong="H0784" ran along|strong="H1980" upon the ground|strong="H0776"; and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* rained|strong="H4305" hail|strong="H1259" upon the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".

So there was hail|strong="H1259", and fire|strong="H0784" mingled|strong="H8432" with the hail|strong="H1259", very|strong="H3966" grievous|strong="H3515", such as there was none|strong="H3808" like it in all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714" since it became a nation|strong="H1471".

And the hail|strong="H1259" smote|strong="H5221" throughout all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714" all that was in the field|strong="H7704", both man|strong="H0120" and beast|strong="H0929"; and the hail|strong="H1259" smote|strong="H5221" every herb|strong="H6212" of the field|strong="H7704", and brake|strong="H7665" every tree|strong="H6086" of the field|strong="H7704".

Only in the land|strong="H0776" of Goshen|strong="H1657", where the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" were, was there no hail|strong="H1259".

And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" sent|strong="H7971", and called|strong="H7121" for Moses|strong="H4872" and Aaron|strong="H0175", and said|strong="H0559" unto them, I have sinned|strong="H2398" this time|strong="H6471": the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is righteous|strong="H6662", and I and my people|strong="H5971" are wicked|strong="H7563".

Intreat|strong="H6279" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* (for it is enough|strong="H7227") that there be no more mighty|strong="H0430" thunderings|strong="H6963" and hail|strong="H1259"; and I will let you go|strong="H7971", and ye shall stay|strong="H5975" no longer|strong="H3254".

And Moses|strong="H4872" said|strong="H0559" unto him, As soon as I am gone out|strong="H3318" of the city|strong="H5892", I will spread abroad|strong="H6566" my hands|strong="H3709" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; and the thunder|strong="H6963" shall cease|strong="H2308", neither shall there be any more hail|strong="H1259"; that thou mayest know|strong="H3045" how that the earth|strong="H0776" is the \+w LORD’s|strong="H3068"\+w*.

But as for thee and thy servants|strong="H5650", I know|strong="H3045" that ye will not yet fear|strong="H3372" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430".

And the flax|strong="H6594" and the barley|strong="H8184" was smitten|strong="H5221": for the barley|strong="H8184" was in the ear|strong="H0024", and the flax|strong="H6594" was bolled|strong="H1392".

But the wheat|strong="H2406" and the rie|strong="H3698" were not smitten|strong="H5221": for they|strong="H2007" were not grown up|strong="H0648".

And Moses|strong="H4872" went out|strong="H3318" of the city|strong="H5892" from Pharaoh|strong="H6547", and spread abroad|strong="H6566" his hands|strong="H3709" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: and the thunders|strong="H6963" and hail|strong="H1259" ceased|strong="H2308", and the rain|strong="H4306" was not poured|strong="H5413" upon the earth|strong="H0776".

And when Pharaoh|strong="H6547" saw|strong="H7200" that the rain|strong="H4306" and the hail|strong="H1259" and the thunders|strong="H6963" were ceased|strong="H2308", he sinned|strong="H2398" yet more|strong="H3254", and hardened|strong="H3513" his heart|strong="H3820", he and his servants|strong="H5650".

And the heart|strong="H3820" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547" was hardened|strong="H2388", neither would he let the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" go|strong="H7971"; as the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had spoken|strong="H1696" by|strong="H3027" Moses|strong="H4872".
