Deuteronômio 29

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

These are the words|strong="H1697" of the covenant|strong="H1285", which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* commanded|strong="H6680" Moses|strong="H4872" to make|strong="H3772" with the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" in the land|strong="H0776" of Moab|strong="H4124", beside the covenant|strong="H1285" which he made|strong="H3772" with them in Horeb|strong="H2722".

And Moses|strong="H4872" called|strong="H7121" unto all Israel|strong="H3478", and said|strong="H0559" unto them, Ye have seen|strong="H7200" all that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* did|strong="H6213" before your eyes|strong="H5869" in the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714" unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547", and unto all his servants|strong="H5650", and unto all his land|strong="H0776";

The great|strong="H1419" temptations|strong="H4531" which thine eyes|strong="H5869" have seen|strong="H7200", the signs|strong="H0226", and those great|strong="H1419" miracles|strong="H4159":

Yet the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath not given|strong="H5414" you an heart|strong="H3820" to perceive|strong="H3045", and eyes|strong="H5869" to see|strong="H7200", and ears|strong="H0241" to hear|strong="H8085", unto this day|strong="H3117".

And I have led|strong="H3212" you forty|strong="H0705" years|strong="H8141" in the wilderness|strong="H4057": your clothes|strong="H8008" are not waxen old|strong="H1086" upon you, and thy shoe|strong="H5275" is not waxen old|strong="H1086" upon thy foot|strong="H7272".

Ye have not eaten|strong="H0398" bread|strong="H3899", neither have ye drunk|strong="H8354" wine|strong="H3196" or strong drink|strong="H7941": that ye might know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430".

And when ye came|strong="H0935" unto this place|strong="H4725", Sihon|strong="H5511" the king|strong="H4428" of Heshbon|strong="H2809", and Og|strong="H5747" the king|strong="H4428" of Bashan|strong="H1316", came out|strong="H3318" against|strong="H7125" us unto battle|strong="H4421", and we smote|strong="H5221" them:

And we took|strong="H3947" their land|strong="H0776", and gave|strong="H5414" it for an inheritance|strong="H5159" unto the Reubenites|strong="H7206", and to the Gadites|strong="H1425", and to the half|strong="H2677" tribe|strong="H7626" of Manasseh|strong="H4520".

Keep|strong="H8104" therefore the words|strong="H1697" of this covenant|strong="H1285", and do|strong="H6213" them, that ye may prosper|strong="H7919" in all that ye do|strong="H6213".

Ye stand|strong="H5324" this day|strong="H3117" all of you before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430"; your captains|strong="H7218" of your tribes|strong="H7626", your elders|strong="H2205", and your officers|strong="H7860", with all the men|strong="H0376" of Israel|strong="H3478",

Your little ones|strong="H2945", your wives|strong="H0802", and thy stranger|strong="H1616" that is in|strong="H7130" thy camp|strong="H4264", from the hewer|strong="H2404" of thy wood|strong="H6086" unto the drawer|strong="H7579" of thy water|strong="H4325":

That thou shouldest enter|strong="H5674" into covenant|strong="H1285" with the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430", and into his oath|strong="H0423", which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" maketh|strong="H3772" with thee this day|strong="H3117":

That he may establish|strong="H6965" thee to day|strong="H3117" for a people|strong="H5971" unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God|strong="H0430", as he hath said|strong="H1696" unto thee, and as he hath sworn|strong="H7650" unto thy fathers|strong="H0001", to Abraham|strong="H0085", to Isaac|strong="H3327", and to Jacob|strong="H3290".

Neither with you only do I make|strong="H3772" this covenant|strong="H1285" and this oath|strong="H0423";

But with him that standeth|strong="H5975" here with us this|strong="H3426" day|strong="H3117" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* our God|strong="H0430", and also with him that is not here with us this day|strong="H3117":

(For ye know|strong="H3045" how we have dwelt|strong="H3427" in the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714"; and how we came|strong="H5674" through|strong="H7130" the nations|strong="H1471" which ye passed by|strong="H5674";

And ye have seen|strong="H7200" their abominations|strong="H8251", and their idols|strong="H1544", wood|strong="H6086" and stone|strong="H0068", silver|strong="H3701" and gold|strong="H2091", which were among them:)

Lest there should be|strong="H3426" among you man|strong="H0376", or woman|strong="H0802", or family|strong="H4940", or tribe|strong="H7626", whose heart|strong="H3824" turneth away|strong="H6437" this day|strong="H3117" from the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* our God|strong="H0430", to go|strong="H3212" and serve|strong="H5647" the gods|strong="H0430" of these nations|strong="H1471"; lest there should be|strong="H3426" among you a root|strong="H8328" that beareth|strong="H6509" gall|strong="H7219" and wormwood|strong="H3939";

And it come to pass, when he heareth|strong="H8085" the words|strong="H1697" of this curse|strong="H0423", that he bless|strong="H1288" himself in his heart|strong="H3824", saying|strong="H0559", I shall have peace|strong="H7965", though|strong="H3588" I walk|strong="H3212" in the imagination|strong="H8307" of mine heart|strong="H3820", to add|strong="H5595" drunkenness|strong="H7302" to thirst|strong="H6771":

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* will|strong="H0014" not spare|strong="H5545" him, but then the anger|strong="H0639" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* and his jealousy|strong="H7068" shall smoke|strong="H6225" against that man|strong="H0376", and all the curses|strong="H0423" that are written|strong="H3789" in this book|strong="H5612" shall lie|strong="H7257" upon him, and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall blot out|strong="H4229" his name|strong="H8034" from under heaven|strong="H8064".

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall separate|strong="H0914" him unto evil|strong="H7451" out of all the tribes|strong="H7626" of Israel|strong="H3478", according to all the curses|strong="H0423" of the covenant|strong="H1285" that are written|strong="H3789" in this book|strong="H5612" of the law|strong="H8451":

So that the generation|strong="H1755" to come|strong="H0314" of your children|strong="H1121" that shall rise up|strong="H6965" after|strong="H0310" you, and the stranger|strong="H5237" that shall come|strong="H0935" from a far|strong="H7350" land|strong="H0776", shall say|strong="H0559", when they see|strong="H7200" the plagues|strong="H4347" of that land|strong="H0776", and the sicknesses|strong="H8463" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath laid|strong="H2470" upon it;

And that the whole land|strong="H0776" thereof is brimstone|strong="H1614", and salt|strong="H4417", and burning|strong="H8316", that it is not sown|strong="H2232", nor beareth|strong="H6779", nor any grass|strong="H6212" groweth|strong="H5927" therein, like the overthrow|strong="H4114" of Sodom|strong="H5467", and Gomorrah|strong="H6017", Admah|strong="H0126", and Zeboim|strong="H6636", which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* overthrew|strong="H2015" in his anger|strong="H0639", and in his wrath|strong="H2534":

Even all nations|strong="H1471" shall say|strong="H0559", Wherefore hath the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* done|strong="H6213" thus unto this land|strong="H0776"? what meaneth the heat|strong="H2750" of this great|strong="H1419" anger|strong="H0639"?

Then men shall say|strong="H0559", Because they have forsaken|strong="H5800" the covenant|strong="H1285" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of their fathers|strong="H0001", which he made|strong="H3772" with them when he brought them forth|strong="H3318" out of the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714":

For they went|strong="H3212" and served|strong="H5647" other|strong="H0312" gods|strong="H0430", and worshipped|strong="H7812" them, gods|strong="H0430" whom they knew|strong="H3045" not, and whom he had not given|strong="H2505" unto them:

And the anger|strong="H0639" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* was kindled|strong="H2734" against this land|strong="H0776", to bring|strong="H0935" upon it all the curses|strong="H7045" that are written|strong="H3789" in this book|strong="H5612":

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* rooted|strong="H5428" them out of their land|strong="H0127" in anger|strong="H0639", and in wrath|strong="H2534", and in great|strong="H1419" indignation|strong="H7110", and cast|strong="H7993" them into another|strong="H0312" land|strong="H0776", as it is this day|strong="H3117".

The secret|strong="H5641" things belong unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* our God|strong="H0430": but those things which are revealed|strong="H1540" belong unto us and to our children|strong="H1121" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769", that we may do|strong="H6213" all the words|strong="H1697" of this law|strong="H8451".
