Deuteronômio 28

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken|strong="H8085" diligently|strong="H8085" unto the voice|strong="H6963" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430", to observe|strong="H8104" and to do|strong="H6213" all his commandments|strong="H4687" which I command|strong="H6680" thee this day|strong="H3117", that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" will set|strong="H5414" thee on high|strong="H5945" above all nations|strong="H1471" of the earth|strong="H0776":

And all these blessings|strong="H1293" shall come|strong="H0935" on thee, and overtake|strong="H5381" thee, if thou shalt hearken|strong="H8085" unto the voice|strong="H6963" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430".

Blessed|strong="H1288" shalt thou be in the city|strong="H5892", and blessed|strong="H1288" shalt thou be in the field|strong="H7704".

Blessed|strong="H1288" shall be the fruit|strong="H6529" of thy body|strong="H0990", and the fruit|strong="H6529" of thy ground|strong="H0127", and the fruit|strong="H6529" of thy cattle|strong="H0929", the increase|strong="H7698" of thy kine|strong="H0504", and the flocks|strong="H6251" of thy sheep|strong="H6629".

Blessed|strong="H1288" shall be thy basket|strong="H2935" and thy store|strong="H4863".

Blessed|strong="H1288" shalt thou be when thou comest in|strong="H0935", and blessed|strong="H1288" shalt thou be when thou goest out|strong="H3318".

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall cause|strong="H5414" thine enemies|strong="H0341" that rise up|strong="H6965" against thee to be smitten|strong="H5062" before thy face|strong="H6440": they shall come out|strong="H3318" against thee one|strong="H0259" way|strong="H1870", and flee|strong="H5127" before|strong="H6440" thee seven|strong="H7651" ways|strong="H1870".

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall command|strong="H6680" the blessing|strong="H1293" upon thee in thy storehouses|strong="H0618", and in all that thou settest|strong="H4916" thine hand|strong="H3027" unto; and he shall bless|strong="H1288" thee in the land|strong="H0776" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" giveth|strong="H5414" thee.

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall establish|strong="H6965" thee an holy|strong="H6918" people|strong="H5971" unto himself, as he hath sworn|strong="H7650" unto thee, if thou shalt keep|strong="H8104" the commandments|strong="H4687" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430", and walk|strong="H1980" in his ways|strong="H1870".

And all people|strong="H5971" of the earth|strong="H0776" shall see|strong="H7200" that thou art called|strong="H7121" by the name|strong="H8034" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; and they shall be afraid|strong="H3372" of thee.

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall make thee plenteous|strong="H3498" in goods|strong="H2896", in the fruit|strong="H6529" of thy body|strong="H0990", and in the fruit|strong="H6529" of thy cattle|strong="H0929", and in the fruit|strong="H6529" of thy ground|strong="H0127", in the land|strong="H0127" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* sware|strong="H7650" unto thy fathers|strong="H0001" to give|strong="H5414" thee.

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall open|strong="H6605" unto thee his good|strong="H2896" treasure|strong="H0214", the heaven|strong="H8064" to give|strong="H5414" the rain|strong="H4306" unto thy land|strong="H0776" in his season|strong="H6256", and to bless|strong="H1288" all the work|strong="H4639" of thine hand|strong="H3027": and thou shalt lend|strong="H3867" unto many|strong="H7227" nations|strong="H1471", and thou shalt not borrow|strong="H3867".

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall make|strong="H5414" thee the head|strong="H7218", and not the tail|strong="H2180"; and thou shalt be above only|strong="H4605", and thou shalt not be beneath|strong="H4295"; if that thou hearken|strong="H8085" unto the commandments|strong="H4687" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430", which I command|strong="H6680" thee this day|strong="H3117", to observe|strong="H8104" and to do|strong="H6213" them:

And thou shalt not go aside|strong="H5493" from any of the words|strong="H1697" which I command|strong="H6680" thee this day|strong="H3117", to the right hand|strong="H3225", or to the left|strong="H8040", to go|strong="H3212" after|strong="H0310" other|strong="H0312" gods|strong="H0430" to serve|strong="H5647" them.

But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken|strong="H8085" unto the voice|strong="H6963" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430", to observe|strong="H8104" to do|strong="H6213" all his commandments|strong="H4687" and his statutes|strong="H2708" which I command|strong="H6680" thee this day|strong="H3117"; that all these curses|strong="H7045" shall come|strong="H0935" upon thee, and overtake|strong="H5381" thee:

Cursed|strong="H0779" shalt thou be in the city|strong="H5892", and cursed|strong="H0779" shalt thou be in the field|strong="H7704".

Cursed|strong="H0779" shall be thy basket|strong="H2935" and thy store|strong="H4863".

Cursed|strong="H0779" shall be the fruit|strong="H6529" of thy body|strong="H0990", and the fruit|strong="H6529" of thy land|strong="H0127", the increase|strong="H7698" of thy kine|strong="H0504", and the flocks|strong="H6251" of thy sheep|strong="H6629".

Cursed|strong="H0779" shalt thou be when thou comest in|strong="H0935", and cursed|strong="H0779" shalt thou be when thou goest out|strong="H3318".

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall send|strong="H7971" upon thee cursing|strong="H3994", vexation|strong="H4103", and rebuke|strong="H4045", in all that thou settest|strong="H4916" thine hand|strong="H3027" unto for to do|strong="H6213", until thou be destroyed|strong="H8045", and until thou perish|strong="H0006" quickly|strong="H4118"; because|strong="H6440" of the wickedness|strong="H7455" of thy doings|strong="H4611", whereby thou hast forsaken|strong="H5800" me.

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall make the pestilence|strong="H1698" cleave|strong="H1692" unto thee, until he have consumed|strong="H3615" thee from off the land|strong="H0127", whither thou goest|strong="H0935" to possess|strong="H3423" it.

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall smite|strong="H5221" thee with a consumption|strong="H7829", and with a fever|strong="H6920", and with an inflammation|strong="H1816", and with an extreme burning|strong="H2746", and with the sword|strong="H2719", and with blasting|strong="H7711", and with mildew|strong="H3420"; and they shall pursue|strong="H7291" thee until thou perish|strong="H0006".

And thy heaven|strong="H8064" that is over thy head|strong="H7218" shall be brass|strong="H5178", and the earth|strong="H0776" that is under thee shall be iron|strong="H1270".

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall make|strong="H5414" the rain|strong="H4306" of thy land|strong="H0776" powder|strong="H0080" and dust|strong="H6083": from heaven|strong="H8064" shall it come down|strong="H3381" upon thee, until thou be destroyed|strong="H8045".

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall cause|strong="H5414" thee to be smitten|strong="H5062" before|strong="H6440" thine enemies|strong="H0341": thou shalt go out|strong="H3318" one|strong="H0259" way|strong="H1870" against them, and flee|strong="H5127" seven|strong="H7651" ways|strong="H1870" before|strong="H6440" them: and shalt be removed|strong="H2189" into all the kingdoms|strong="H4467" of the earth|strong="H0776".

And thy carcase|strong="H5038" shall be meat|strong="H3978" unto all fowls|strong="H5775" of the air|strong="H8064", and unto the beasts|strong="H0929" of the earth|strong="H0776", and no man shall fray them away|strong="H2729".

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* will smite|strong="H5221" thee with the botch|strong="H7822" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and with the emerods|strong="H2914", and with the scab|strong="H1618", and with the itch|strong="H2775", whereof thou canst|strong="H3201" not be healed|strong="H7495".

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall smite|strong="H5221" thee with madness|strong="H7697", and blindness|strong="H5788", and astonishment|strong="H8541" of heart|strong="H3824":

And thou shalt grope|strong="H4959" at noonday|strong="H6672", as the blind|strong="H5787" gropeth|strong="H4959" in darkness|strong="H0653", and thou shalt not prosper|strong="H6743" in thy ways|strong="H1870": and thou shalt be only oppressed|strong="H6231" and spoiled|strong="H1497" evermore|strong="H3117", and no man shall save|strong="H3467" thee.

Thou shalt betroth|strong="H0781" a wife|strong="H0802", and another|strong="H0312" man|strong="H0376" shall lie|strong="H7901" with her: thou shalt build|strong="H1129" an house|strong="H1004", and thou shalt not dwell|strong="H3427" therein: thou shalt plant|strong="H5193" a vineyard|strong="H3754", and shalt not gather the grapes|strong="H2490" thereof.

Thine ox|strong="H7794" shall be slain|strong="H2873" before thine eyes|strong="H5869", and thou shalt not eat|strong="H0398" thereof: thine ass|strong="H2543" shall be violently taken away|strong="H1497" from before thy face|strong="H6440", and shall not be restored|strong="H7725" to thee: thy sheep|strong="H6629" shall be given|strong="H5414" unto thine enemies|strong="H0341", and thou shalt have none to rescue|strong="H3467" them.

Thy sons|strong="H1121" and thy daughters|strong="H1323" shall be given|strong="H5414" unto another|strong="H0312" people|strong="H5971", and thine eyes|strong="H5869" shall look|strong="H7200", and fail|strong="H3616" with longing for them all the day|strong="H3117" long: and there shall be no might|strong="H0410" in thine hand|strong="H3027".

The fruit|strong="H6529" of thy land|strong="H0127", and all thy labours|strong="H3018", shall a nation|strong="H5971" which thou knowest|strong="H3045" not eat up|strong="H0398"; and thou shalt be only oppressed|strong="H6231" and crushed|strong="H7533" alway|strong="H3117":

So that thou shalt be mad|strong="H7696" for the sight|strong="H4758" of thine eyes|strong="H5869" which thou shalt see|strong="H7200".

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall smite|strong="H5221" thee in the knees|strong="H1290", and in the legs|strong="H7785", with a sore|strong="H7451" botch|strong="H7822" that cannot|strong="H3201" be healed|strong="H7495", from the sole|strong="H3709" of thy foot|strong="H7272" unto the top of thy head|strong="H6936".

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall bring|strong="H3212" thee, and thy king|strong="H4428" which thou shalt set|strong="H6965" over thee, unto a nation|strong="H1471" which neither thou nor thy fathers|strong="H0001" have known|strong="H3045"; and there shalt thou serve|strong="H5647" other|strong="H0312" gods|strong="H0430", wood|strong="H6086" and stone|strong="H0068".

And thou shalt become an astonishment|strong="H8047", a proverb|strong="H4912", and a byword|strong="H8148", among all nations|strong="H5971" whither the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall lead|strong="H5090" thee.

Thou shalt carry|strong="H3318" much|strong="H7227" seed|strong="H2233" out|strong="H3318" into the field|strong="H7704", and shalt gather|strong="H0622" but little|strong="H4592" in|strong="H0622"; for the locust|strong="H0697" shall consume|strong="H2628" it.

Thou shalt plant|strong="H5193" vineyards|strong="H3754", and dress|strong="H5647" them, but shalt neither drink|strong="H8354" of the wine|strong="H3196", nor gather|strong="H0103" the grapes; for the worms|strong="H8438" shall eat|strong="H0398" them.

Thou shalt have olive trees|strong="H2132" throughout all thy coasts|strong="H1366", but thou shalt not anoint|strong="H5480" thyself with the oil|strong="H8081"; for thine olive|strong="H2132" shall cast|strong="H5394" his fruit.

Thou shalt beget|strong="H3205" sons|strong="H1121" and daughters|strong="H1323", but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go|strong="H3212" into captivity|strong="H7628".

All thy trees|strong="H6086" and fruit|strong="H6529" of thy land|strong="H0127" shall the locust|strong="H6767" consume|strong="H3423".

The stranger|strong="H1616" that is within|strong="H7130" thee shall get up|strong="H5927" above thee very|strong="H4605" high|strong="H4605"; and thou shalt come down|strong="H3381" very|strong="H4295" low|strong="H4295".

He shall lend|strong="H3867" to thee, and thou shalt not lend|strong="H3867" to him: he shall be the head|strong="H7218", and thou shalt be the tail|strong="H2180".

Moreover all these curses|strong="H7045" shall come|strong="H0935" upon thee, and shall pursue|strong="H7291" thee, and overtake|strong="H5381" thee, till thou be destroyed|strong="H8045"; because thou hearkenedst|strong="H8085" not unto the voice|strong="H6963" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430", to keep|strong="H8104" his commandments|strong="H4687" and his statutes|strong="H2708" which he commanded|strong="H6680" thee:

And they shall be upon thee for a sign|strong="H0226" and for a wonder|strong="H4159", and upon thy seed|strong="H2233" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769".

Because thou servedst|strong="H5647" not the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" with joyfulness|strong="H8057", and with gladness|strong="H2898" of heart|strong="H3824", for the abundance|strong="H7230" of all things;

Therefore shalt thou serve|strong="H5647" thine enemies|strong="H0341" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall send|strong="H7971" against thee, in hunger|strong="H7458", and in thirst|strong="H6772", and in nakedness|strong="H5903", and in want|strong="H2640" of all things: and he shall put|strong="H5414" a yoke|strong="H5923" of iron|strong="H1270" upon thy neck|strong="H6677", until he have destroyed|strong="H8045" thee.

The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall bring|strong="H5375" a nation|strong="H1471" against thee from far|strong="H7350", from the end|strong="H7097" of the earth|strong="H0776", as swift as the eagle|strong="H5404" flieth|strong="H1675"; a nation|strong="H1471" whose tongue|strong="H3956" thou shalt not understand|strong="H8085";

A nation|strong="H1471" of fierce|strong="H5794" countenance|strong="H6440", which shall not regard|strong="H5375" the person|strong="H6440" of the old|strong="H2205", nor shew favour|strong="H2603" to the young|strong="H5288":

And he shall eat|strong="H0398" the fruit|strong="H6529" of thy cattle|strong="H0929", and the fruit|strong="H6529" of thy land|strong="H0127", until thou be destroyed|strong="H8045": which also shall not leave|strong="H7604" thee either corn|strong="H1715", wine|strong="H8492", or oil|strong="H3323", or the increase|strong="H7698" of thy kine|strong="H0504", or flocks|strong="H6251" of thy sheep|strong="H6629", until he have destroyed|strong="H0006" thee.

And he shall besiege|strong="H6887" thee in all thy gates|strong="H8179", until thy high|strong="H1364" and fenced|strong="H1219" walls|strong="H2346" come down|strong="H3381", wherein|strong="H2004" thou trustedst|strong="H0982", throughout all thy land|strong="H0776": and he shall besiege|strong="H6887" thee in all thy gates|strong="H8179" throughout all thy land|strong="H0776", which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" hath given|strong="H5414" thee.

And thou shalt eat|strong="H0398" the fruit|strong="H6529" of thine own body|strong="H0990", the flesh|strong="H1320" of thy sons|strong="H1121" and of thy daughters|strong="H1323", which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430" hath given|strong="H5414" thee, in the siege|strong="H4692", and in the straitness|strong="H4689", wherewith thine enemies|strong="H0341" shall distress|strong="H6693" thee:

So that the man|strong="H0376" that is tender|strong="H7390" among you, and very|strong="H3966" delicate|strong="H6028", his eye|strong="H5869" shall be evil|strong="H3415" toward his brother|strong="H0251", and toward the wife|strong="H0802" of his bosom|strong="H2436", and toward the remnant|strong="H3499" of his children|strong="H1121" which he shall leave|strong="H3498":

So that he will not give|strong="H5414" to any|strong="H0259" of them of the flesh|strong="H1320" of his children|strong="H1121" whom he shall eat|strong="H0398": because he hath nothing left|strong="H7604" him in the siege|strong="H4692", and in the straitness|strong="H4689", wherewith thine enemies|strong="H0341" shall distress|strong="H6693" thee in all thy gates|strong="H8179".

The tender|strong="H7390" and delicate|strong="H6028" woman among you, which would not adventure|strong="H5254" to set|strong="H3322" the sole|strong="H3709" of her foot|strong="H7272" upon the ground|strong="H0776" for delicateness|strong="H6026" and tenderness|strong="H7391", her eye|strong="H5869" shall be evil|strong="H3415" toward the husband|strong="H0376" of her bosom|strong="H2436", and toward her son|strong="H1121", and toward her daughter|strong="H1323",

And toward her young one|strong="H7988" that cometh out|strong="H3318" from between her feet|strong="H7272", and toward her children|strong="H1121" which she shall bear|strong="H3205": for she shall eat|strong="H0398" them for want|strong="H2640" of all things secretly|strong="H5643" in the siege|strong="H4692" and straitness|strong="H4689", wherewith thine enemy|strong="H0341" shall distress|strong="H6693" thee in thy gates|strong="H8179".

If thou wilt not observe|strong="H8104" to do|strong="H6213" all the words|strong="H1697" of this law|strong="H8451" that are written|strong="H3789" in this book|strong="H5612", that thou mayest fear|strong="H3372" this glorious|strong="H3513" and fearful|strong="H3372" name|strong="H8034", THE \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* THY GOD|strong="H0430";

Then the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* will make|strong="H6381" thy plagues|strong="H4347" wonderful|strong="H6381", and the plagues|strong="H4347" of thy seed|strong="H2233", even great|strong="H1419" plagues|strong="H4347", and of long continuance|strong="H0539", and sore|strong="H7451" sicknesses|strong="H2483", and of long continuance|strong="H0539".

Moreover he will bring|strong="H7725" upon thee all the diseases|strong="H4064" of Egypt|strong="H4714", which thou wast afraid|strong="H3025" of|strong="H6440"; and they shall cleave|strong="H1692" unto thee.

Also every sickness|strong="H2483", and every plague|strong="H4347", which is not written|strong="H3789" in the book|strong="H5612" of this law|strong="H8451", them will the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* bring|strong="H5927" upon thee, until thou be destroyed|strong="H8045".

And ye shall be left|strong="H7604" few|strong="H4592" in number|strong="H4962", whereas|strong="H0834" ye were as the stars|strong="H3556" of heaven|strong="H8064" for multitude|strong="H7230"; because thou wouldest not obey|strong="H8085" the voice|strong="H6963" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430".

And it shall come to pass, that as the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* rejoiced|strong="H7797" over you to do you good|strong="H3190", and to multiply|strong="H7235" you; so the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* will rejoice|strong="H7797" over you to destroy|strong="H0006" you, and to bring you to nought|strong="H8045"; and ye shall be plucked|strong="H5255" from off the land|strong="H0127" whither thou goest|strong="H0935" to possess|strong="H3423" it.

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall scatter|strong="H6327" thee among all people|strong="H5971", from the one end|strong="H7097" of the earth|strong="H0776" even unto the other|strong="H7097"; and there thou shalt serve|strong="H5647" other|strong="H0312" gods|strong="H0430", which neither thou nor thy fathers|strong="H0001" have known|strong="H3045", even wood|strong="H6086" and stone|strong="H0068".

And among these|strong="H1992" nations|strong="H1471" shalt thou find no ease|strong="H7280", neither shall the sole|strong="H3709" of thy foot|strong="H7272" have rest|strong="H4494": but the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall give|strong="H5414" thee there a trembling|strong="H7268" heart|strong="H3820", and failing|strong="H3631" of eyes|strong="H5869", and sorrow|strong="H1671" of mind|strong="H5315":

And thy life|strong="H2416" shall hang|strong="H8511" in doubt before|strong="H5048" thee; and thou shalt fear|strong="H6342" day|strong="H3119" and night|strong="H3915", and shalt have none assurance|strong="H0539" of thy life|strong="H2416":

In the morning|strong="H1242" thou shalt say|strong="H0559", Would God it were|strong="H5414" even|strong="H6153"! and at even|strong="H6153" thou shalt say|strong="H0559", Would God it were|strong="H5414" morning|strong="H1242"! for the fear|strong="H6343" of thine heart|strong="H3824" wherewith thou shalt fear|strong="H6342", and for the sight|strong="H4758" of thine eyes|strong="H5869" which thou shalt see|strong="H7200".

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall bring|strong="H7725" thee into Egypt|strong="H4714" again|strong="H7725" with ships|strong="H0591", by the way|strong="H1870" whereof I spake|strong="H0559" unto thee, Thou shalt see|strong="H7200" it no more again|strong="H3254": and there ye shall be sold|strong="H4376" unto your enemies|strong="H0341" for bondmen|strong="H5650" and bondwomen|strong="H8198", and no man shall buy|strong="H7069" you.
