Thou shalt not see|strong="H7200" thy brother’s|strong="H0251" ox|strong="H7794" or his sheep|strong="H7716" go astray|strong="H5080", and hide|strong="H5956" thyself from them: thou shalt in any case|strong="H7725" bring them again|strong="H7725" unto thy brother|strong="H0251".
And if thy brother|strong="H0251" be not nigh|strong="H7138" unto thee, or if thou know|strong="H3045" him not, then thou shalt bring|strong="H0622" it unto|strong="H8432" thine own house|strong="H1004", and it shall be with thee until thy brother|strong="H0251" seek|strong="H1875" after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again|strong="H7725".
In like manner|strong="H3651" shalt thou do|strong="H6213" with his ass|strong="H2543"; and so shalt thou do|strong="H6213" with his raiment|strong="H8071"; and with all lost thing|strong="H0009" of thy brother’s|strong="H0251", which he hath lost|strong="H0006", and thou hast found|strong="H4672", shalt thou do|strong="H6213" likewise: thou mayest|strong="H3201" not hide|strong="H5956" thyself.
Thou shalt not see|strong="H7200" thy brother’s|strong="H0251" ass|strong="H2543" or his ox|strong="H7794" fall down|strong="H5307" by the way|strong="H1870", and hide|strong="H5956" thyself from them: thou shalt surely|strong="H6965" help him to lift them up again|strong="H6965".
The woman|strong="H0802" shall not wear that which pertaineth|strong="H3627" unto a man|strong="H1397", neither shall a man|strong="H1397" put|strong="H3847" on a woman’s|strong="H0802" garment|strong="H8071": for all that do|strong="H6213" so|strong="H0428" are abomination|strong="H8441" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430".
If a bird’s|strong="H6833" nest|strong="H7064" chance|strong="H7122" to be before|strong="H6440" thee in the way|strong="H1870" in any tree|strong="H6086", or on the ground|strong="H0776", whether they be young ones|strong="H0667", or eggs|strong="H1000", and the dam|strong="H0517" sitting|strong="H7257" upon the young|strong="H0667", or upon the eggs|strong="H1000", thou shalt not take|strong="H3947" the dam|strong="H0517" with the young|strong="H1121":
But thou shalt in any wise|strong="H7971" let the dam|strong="H0517" go|strong="H7971", and take|strong="H3947" the young|strong="H1121" to thee; that it may be well|strong="H3190" with thee, and that thou mayest prolong|strong="H0748" thy days|strong="H3117".
When thou buildest|strong="H1129" a new|strong="H2319" house|strong="H1004", then thou shalt make|strong="H6213" a battlement|strong="H4624" for thy roof|strong="H1406", that thou bring|strong="H7760" not blood|strong="H1818" upon thine house|strong="H1004", if any man|strong="H5307" fall|strong="H5307" from thence.
Thou shalt not sow|strong="H2232" thy vineyard|strong="H3754" with divers seeds|strong="H3610": lest the fruit|strong="H4395" of thy seed|strong="H2233" which thou hast sown|strong="H2232", and the fruit|strong="H8393" of thy vineyard|strong="H3754", be defiled|strong="H6942".
Thou shalt not plow|strong="H2790" with an ox|strong="H7794" and an ass|strong="H2543" together|strong="H3162".
Thou shalt not wear|strong="H3847" a garment of divers sorts|strong="H8162", as of woollen|strong="H6785" and linen|strong="H6593" together|strong="H3162".
Thou shalt make|strong="H6213" thee fringes|strong="H1434" upon the four|strong="H0702" quarters|strong="H3671" of thy vesture|strong="H3682", wherewith thou coverest|strong="H3680" thyself.
If any man|strong="H0376" take|strong="H3947" a wife|strong="H0802", and go in|strong="H0935" unto her, and hate|strong="H8130" her,
And give|strong="H7760" occasions|strong="H5949" of speech|strong="H1697" against her, and bring up|strong="H3318" an evil|strong="H7451" name|strong="H8034" upon her, and say|strong="H0559", I took|strong="H3947" this woman|strong="H0802", and when I came|strong="H7126" to her, I found|strong="H4672" her not a maid|strong="H1331":
Then shall the father|strong="H0001" of the damsel|strong="H5291", and her mother|strong="H0517", take|strong="H3947" and bring forth|strong="H3318" the tokens of the damsel’s|strong="H5291" virginity|strong="H1331" unto the elders|strong="H2205" of the city|strong="H5892" in the gate|strong="H8179":
And the damsel’s|strong="H5291" father|strong="H0001" shall say|strong="H0559" unto the elders|strong="H2205", I gave|strong="H5414" my daughter|strong="H1323" unto this man|strong="H0376" to wife|strong="H0802", and he hateth|strong="H8130" her;
And, lo, he hath given|strong="H7760" occasions|strong="H5949" of speech|strong="H1697" against her, saying|strong="H0559", I found|strong="H4672" not thy daughter|strong="H1323" a maid|strong="H1331"; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter’s|strong="H1323" virginity|strong="H1331". And they shall spread|strong="H6566" the cloth|strong="H8071" before|strong="H6440" the elders|strong="H2205" of the city|strong="H5892".
And the elders|strong="H2205" of that city|strong="H5892" shall take|strong="H3947" that man|strong="H0376" and chastise|strong="H3256" him;
And they shall amerce|strong="H6064" him in an hundred|strong="H3967" shekels of silver|strong="H3701", and give|strong="H5414" them unto the father|strong="H0001" of the damsel|strong="H5291", because he hath brought up|strong="H3318" an evil|strong="H7451" name|strong="H8034" upon a virgin|strong="H1330" of Israel|strong="H3478": and she shall be his wife|strong="H0802"; he may|strong="H3201" not put her away|strong="H7971" all his days|strong="H3117".
But if this thing|strong="H1697" be true|strong="H0571", and the tokens of virginity|strong="H1331" be not found|strong="H4672" for the damsel|strong="H5291":
Then they shall bring out|strong="H3318" the damsel|strong="H5291" to the door|strong="H6607" of her father’s|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004", and the men|strong="H0582" of her city|strong="H5892" shall stone|strong="H5619" her with stones|strong="H0068" that she die|strong="H4191": because she hath wrought|strong="H6213" folly|strong="H5039" in Israel|strong="H3478", to play the whore|strong="H2181" in her father’s|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004": so shalt thou put|strong="H1197" evil|strong="H7451" away|strong="H1197" from among|strong="H7130" you.
If a man|strong="H0376" be found|strong="H4672" lying|strong="H7901" with a woman|strong="H0802" married|strong="H1166" to an husband|strong="H1167", then they shall both of them|strong="H8147" die|strong="H4191", both the man|strong="H0376" that lay|strong="H7901" with the woman|strong="H0802", and the woman|strong="H0802": so shalt thou put away|strong="H1197" evil|strong="H7451" from Israel|strong="H3478".
If a damsel|strong="H5291" that is a virgin|strong="H1330" be betrothed|strong="H0781" unto an husband|strong="H0376", and a man|strong="H0376" find|strong="H4672" her in the city|strong="H5892", and lie|strong="H7901" with her;
Then ye shall bring|strong="H3318" them both|strong="H8147" out unto the gate|strong="H8179" of that city|strong="H5892", and ye shall stone|strong="H5619" them with stones|strong="H0068" that they die|strong="H4191"; the damsel|strong="H5291", because|strong="H0834" she cried|strong="H6817" not, being in the city|strong="H5892"; and the man|strong="H0376", because|strong="H0834" he hath humbled|strong="H6031" his neighbour’s|strong="H7453" wife|strong="H0802": so thou shalt put away|strong="H1197" evil|strong="H7451" from among|strong="H7130" you.
But if a man|strong="H0376" find|strong="H4672" a betrothed|strong="H0781" damsel|strong="H5291" in the field|strong="H7704", and the man|strong="H0376" force|strong="H2388" her, and lie|strong="H7901" with her: then the man|strong="H0376" only that lay|strong="H7901" with her shall die|strong="H4191":
But unto the damsel|strong="H5291" thou shalt do|strong="H6213" nothing|strong="H1697"; there is in the damsel|strong="H5291" no sin|strong="H2399" worthy of death|strong="H4194": for as when a man|strong="H0376" riseth|strong="H6965" against his neighbour|strong="H7453", and slayeth|strong="H7523" him, even so is this matter|strong="H1697":
For he found|strong="H4672" her in the field|strong="H7704", and the betrothed|strong="H0781" damsel|strong="H5291" cried|strong="H6817", and there was none to save|strong="H3467" her.
If a man|strong="H0376" find|strong="H4672" a damsel|strong="H5291" that is a virgin|strong="H1330", which is not betrothed|strong="H0781", and lay hold|strong="H8610" on her, and lie|strong="H7901" with her, and they be found|strong="H4672";
Then the man|strong="H0376" that lay|strong="H7901" with her shall give|strong="H5414" unto the damsel’s|strong="H5291" father|strong="H0001" fifty|strong="H2572" shekels of silver|strong="H3701", and she shall be his wife|strong="H0802"; because he hath humbled|strong="H6031" her, he may|strong="H3201" not put her away|strong="H7971" all his days|strong="H3117".
A man|strong="H0376" shall not take|strong="H3947" his father’s|strong="H0001" wife|strong="H0802", nor discover|strong="H1540" his father’s|strong="H0001" skirt|strong="H3671".
