And|strong="G1161" it came to pass|strong="G1096" in|strong="G1722" Iconium|strong="G2430", that they|strong="G0846" went|strong="G1525" both|strong="G0846" together|strong="G2596" into|strong="G1519" the synagogue|strong="G4864" of the Jews|strong="G2453", and|strong="G2532" so|strong="G3779" spake|strong="G2980", that|strong="G5620" a great|strong="G4183" multitude|strong="G4128" both|strong="G5037" of the Jews|strong="G2453" and also|strong="G2532" of the Greeks|strong="G1672" believed|strong="G4100".
But|strong="G1161" the unbelieving|strong="G0544" Jews|strong="G2453" stirred up|strong="G1892" the Gentiles|strong="G1484", and|strong="G2532" made|strong="G2559" their minds|strong="G5590" evil affected|strong="G2559" against|strong="G2596" the brethren|strong="G0080".
Long|strong="G2425" time|strong="G5550" therefore|strong="G3767" abode they|strong="G1304" speaking boldly|strong="G3955" in|strong="G1909" the Lord|strong="G2962", which gave testimony|strong="G3140" unto the word|strong="G3056" of his|strong="G0846" grace|strong="G5485", and|strong="G2532" granted|strong="G1325" signs|strong="G4592" and|strong="G2532" wonders|strong="G5059" to be done|strong="G1096" by|strong="G1223" their|strong="G0846" hands|strong="G5495".
But|strong="G1161" the multitude|strong="G4128" of the city|strong="G4172" was divided|strong="G4977": and|strong="G2532" part held|strong="G2258" with|strong="G4862" the Jews|strong="G2453", and|strong="G1161" part with|strong="G4862" the apostles|strong="G0652".
And|strong="G1161" when|strong="G5613" there was|strong="G1096" an assault|strong="G3730" made|strong="G1096" both|strong="G5037" of the Gentiles|strong="G1484", and also|strong="G2532" of the Jews|strong="G2453" with|strong="G4862" their|strong="G0846" rulers|strong="G0758", to use|strong="G5195" them despitefully|strong="G5195", and|strong="G2532" to stone|strong="G3036" them|strong="G0846",
They were ware of|strong="G4894" it, and fled|strong="G2703" unto|strong="G1519" Lystra|strong="G3082" and|strong="G2532" Derbe|strong="G1191", cities|strong="G4172" of Lycaonia|strong="G3071", and|strong="G2532" unto the region that lieth round about|strong="G4066":
And there|strong="G2546" they preached the gospel|strong="G2097".
And|strong="G2532" there sat|strong="G2521" a certain|strong="G5100" man|strong="G0435" at|strong="G1722" Lystra|strong="G3082", impotent|strong="G0102" in his feet|strong="G4228", being|strong="G5225" a cripple|strong="G5560" from|strong="G1537" his|strong="G0846" mother’s|strong="G3384" womb|strong="G2836", who|strong="G3739" never|strong="G3763" had walked|strong="G4043":
The same|strong="G3778" heard|strong="G0191" Paul|strong="G3972" speak|strong="G2980": who|strong="G3739" stedfastly beholding|strong="G0816" him|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" perceiving|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" he had|strong="G2192" faith|strong="G4102" to be healed|strong="G4982",
Said|strong="G2036" with a loud|strong="G3173" voice|strong="G5456", Stand|strong="G0450" upright|strong="G3717" on|strong="G1909" thy|strong="G4675" feet|strong="G4228". And|strong="G2532" he leaped|strong="G0242" and|strong="G2532" walked|strong="G4043".
And|strong="G1161" when|strong="G1492" the people|strong="G3793" saw|strong="G1492" what|strong="G3739" Paul|strong="G3972" had done|strong="G4160", they lifted up|strong="G1869" their|strong="G0846" voices|strong="G5456", saying|strong="G3004" in the speech of Lycaonia|strong="G3072", The gods|strong="G2316" are come down|strong="G2597" to|strong="G4314" us|strong="G2248" in the likeness|strong="G3666" of men|strong="G0444".
And|strong="G5037" they called|strong="G2564" Barnabas|strong="G0921", Jupiter|strong="G2203"; and|strong="G1161" Paul|strong="G3972", Mercurius|strong="G2060", because|strong="G1894" he|strong="G0846" was|strong="G2258" the chief|strong="G2233" speaker|strong="G3056".
Then|strong="G1161" the priest|strong="G2409" of Jupiter|strong="G2203", which was|strong="G5607" before|strong="G4253" their|strong="G0846" city|strong="G4172", brought|strong="G5342" oxen|strong="G5022" and|strong="G2532" garlands|strong="G4725" unto|strong="G1909" the gates|strong="G4440", and would have|strong="G2309" done sacrifice|strong="G2380" with|strong="G4862" the people|strong="G3793".
Which when|strong="G0191" the apostles|strong="G0652", Barnabas|strong="G0921" and|strong="G2532" Paul|strong="G3972", heard|strong="G0191" of, they rent|strong="G1284" their|strong="G0846" clothes|strong="G2440", and ran in|strong="G1530" among|strong="G1519" the people|strong="G3793", crying out|strong="G2896",
And|strong="G2532" saying|strong="G3004", Sirs|strong="G0435", why|strong="G5101" do ye|strong="G4160" these things|strong="G5023"? We|strong="G2249" also|strong="G2532" are|strong="G2070" men|strong="G0444" of like passions|strong="G3663" with you|strong="G5213", and preach|strong="G2097" unto you|strong="G5209" that ye should turn|strong="G1994" from|strong="G0575" these|strong="G5130" vanities|strong="G3152" unto|strong="G1909" the living|strong="G2198" God|strong="G2316", which|strong="G3739" made|strong="G4160" heaven|strong="G3772", and|strong="G2532" earth|strong="G1093", and|strong="G2532" the sea|strong="G2281", and|strong="G2532" all things|strong="G3956" that are therein|strong="G1722":
Who|strong="G3739" in|strong="G1722" times|strong="G1074" past|strong="G3944" suffered|strong="G1439" all|strong="G3956" nations|strong="G1484" to walk in|strong="G4198" their own|strong="G0846" ways|strong="G3598".
Nevertheless|strong="G2532" he left|strong="G0863" not|strong="G3756" himself|strong="G1438" without witness|strong="G0267", in that he did good|strong="G0015", and gave|strong="G1325" us|strong="G2254" rain|strong="G5205" from heaven|strong="G3771", and|strong="G2532" fruitful|strong="G2593" seasons, filling|strong="G1705" our|strong="G2257" hearts|strong="G2588" with food|strong="G5160" and|strong="G2532" gladness|strong="G2167".
And|strong="G2532" with these|strong="G5023" sayings|strong="G3004" scarce|strong="G3433" restrained they|strong="G2664" the people|strong="G3793", that they had|strong="G2380" not|strong="G3361" done sacrifice|strong="G2380" unto them|strong="G0846".
And|strong="G1161" there came thither|strong="G1904" certain Jews|strong="G2453" from|strong="G0575" Antioch|strong="G0490" and|strong="G2532" Iconium|strong="G2430", who|strong="G2532" persuaded|strong="G3982" the people|strong="G3793", and|strong="G2532", having stoned|strong="G3034" Paul|strong="G3972", drew|strong="G4951" him out of|strong="G1854" the city|strong="G4172", supposing|strong="G3543" he|strong="G0846" had been dead|strong="G2348".
Howbeit|strong="G1161", as the disciples|strong="G3101" stood round about|strong="G2944" him|strong="G0846", he rose up|strong="G0450", and came|strong="G1525" into|strong="G1519" the city|strong="G4172": and|strong="G2532" the next day|strong="G1887" he departed|strong="G1831" with|strong="G4862" Barnabas|strong="G0921" to|strong="G1519" Derbe|strong="G1191".
And|strong="G5037" when they had preached the gospel|strong="G2097" to that|strong="G1565" city|strong="G4172", and|strong="G2532" had taught|strong="G3100" many|strong="G2425", they returned again|strong="G5290" to|strong="G1519" Lystra|strong="G3082", and|strong="G2532" to Iconium|strong="G2430", and|strong="G2532" Antioch|strong="G0490",
Confirming|strong="G1991" the souls|strong="G5590" of the disciples|strong="G3101", and exhorting them|strong="G3870" to continue|strong="G1696" in the faith|strong="G4102", and|strong="G2532" that|strong="G3754" we|strong="G2248" must|strong="G1163" through|strong="G1223" much|strong="G4183" tribulation|strong="G2347" enter|strong="G1525" into|strong="G1519" the kingdom|strong="G0932" of God|strong="G2316".
And|strong="G1161" when they had ordained|strong="G5500" them|strong="G0846" elders|strong="G4245" in every|strong="G2596" church|strong="G1577", and had prayed|strong="G4336" with|strong="G3326" fasting|strong="G3521", they commended|strong="G3908" them|strong="G0846" to the Lord|strong="G2962", on|strong="G1519" whom|strong="G3739" they believed|strong="G4100".
And|strong="G2532" after they had passed throughout|strong="G1330" Pisidia|strong="G4099", they came|strong="G2064" to|strong="G1519" Pamphylia|strong="G3828".
And|strong="G2532" when they had preached|strong="G2980" the word|strong="G3056" in|strong="G1722" Perga|strong="G4011", they went down|strong="G2597" into|strong="G1519" Attalia|strong="G0825":
And thence|strong="G2547" sailed|strong="G0636" to|strong="G1519" Antioch|strong="G0490", from whence|strong="G3606" they had been|strong="G2258" recommended|strong="G3860" to the grace|strong="G5485" of God|strong="G2316" for|strong="G1519" the work|strong="G2041" which|strong="G3739" they fulfilled|strong="G4137".
And|strong="G1161" when they were come|strong="G3854", and|strong="G2532" had gathered|strong="G4863" the church|strong="G1577" together|strong="G4863", they rehearsed|strong="G0312" all that|strong="G3745" God|strong="G2316" had done|strong="G4160" with|strong="G3326" them|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" how|strong="G3754" he had opened|strong="G0455" the door|strong="G2374" of faith|strong="G4102" unto the Gentiles|strong="G1484".
And|strong="G1161" there|strong="G1563" they abode|strong="G1304" long|strong="G3641" time|strong="G5550" with|strong="G4862" the disciples|strong="G3101".
