2 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G3753" Peter|strong="G4074" was come up|strong="G0305" to|strong="G1519" Jerusalem|strong="G2414", they that were|strong="G3588" of|strong="G1537" the circumcision|strong="G4061" contended|strong="G1252" with|strong="G4314" him|strong="G0846",
3 Saying|strong="G3004", Thou wentest in|strong="G1525" to|strong="G4314" men|strong="G0435" uncircumcised|strong="G0203", and|strong="G2532" didst eat with|strong="G4906" them|strong="G0846".
4 But|strong="G1161" Peter|strong="G4074" rehearsed|strong="G0756" the matter from the beginning|strong="G0756", and expounded|strong="G1620" it by order|strong="G2517" unto them|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004",
5 I|strong="G1473" was|strong="G2252" in|strong="G1722" the city|strong="G4172" of Joppa|strong="G2445" praying|strong="G4336": and|strong="G2532" in|strong="G1722" a trance|strong="G1611" I saw|strong="G1492" a vision|strong="G3705", A certain|strong="G5100" vessel|strong="G4632" descend|strong="G2597", as it had been|strong="G5613" a great|strong="G3173" sheet|strong="G3607", let down|strong="G2524" from|strong="G1537" heaven|strong="G3772" by four|strong="G5064" corners|strong="G0746"; and|strong="G2532" it came|strong="G2064" even to|strong="G0891" me|strong="G1700":
6 Upon|strong="G1519" the which|strong="G3739" when I had fastened mine eyes|strong="G0816", I considered|strong="G2657", and|strong="G2532" saw|strong="G1492" fourfooted beasts|strong="G5074" of the earth|strong="G1093", and|strong="G2532" wild beasts|strong="G2342", and|strong="G2532" creeping things|strong="G2062", and|strong="G2532" fowls|strong="G4071" of the air|strong="G3772".
7 And|strong="G1161" I heard|strong="G0191" a voice|strong="G5456" saying|strong="G3004" unto me|strong="G3427", Arise|strong="G0450", Peter|strong="G4074"; slay|strong="G2380" and|strong="G2532" eat|strong="G5315".
8 But|strong="G1161" I said|strong="G2036", Not so|strong="G3365", Lord|strong="G2962": for|strong="G3754" nothing|strong="G3956" common|strong="G2839" or|strong="G2228" unclean|strong="G0169" hath at any time|strong="G3763" entered|strong="G1525" into|strong="G1519" my|strong="G3450" mouth|strong="G4750".
9 But|strong="G1161" the voice|strong="G5456" answered|strong="G0611" me|strong="G3427" again|strong="G1208" from|strong="G1537" heaven|strong="G3772", What|strong="G3739" God|strong="G2316" hath cleansed|strong="G2511", that call|strong="G2840" not|strong="G3361" thou|strong="G4771" common|strong="G2840".
10 And|strong="G1161" this|strong="G5124" was done|strong="G1096" three times|strong="G5151": and|strong="G2532" all|strong="G0537" were drawn up|strong="G0385" again|strong="G3825" into|strong="G1519" heaven|strong="G3772".
11 And|strong="G2532", behold|strong="G2400", immediately|strong="G1824" there were three|strong="G5140" men|strong="G0435" already come|strong="G2186" unto|strong="G1909" the house|strong="G3614" where|strong="G3739" I was|strong="G1510", sent|strong="G0649" from|strong="G0575" Cæsarea|strong="G2542" unto|strong="G4314" me|strong="G3165".
12 And|strong="G1161" the Spirit|strong="G4151" bade|strong="G2036" me|strong="G3427" go with|strong="G4905" them|strong="G0846", nothing|strong="G3367" doubting|strong="G1252". 13 And|strong="G5037" he shewed|strong="G0518" us|strong="G2254" how|strong="G4459" he had seen|strong="G1492" an angel|strong="G0032" in|strong="G1722" his|strong="G0846" house|strong="G3624", which stood|strong="G2476" and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", Send|strong="G0649" men|strong="G0435" to|strong="G1519" Joppa|strong="G2445", and|strong="G2532" call for|strong="G3343" Simon|strong="G4613", whose surname is|strong="G1941" Peter|strong="G4074";
14 Who|strong="G3739" shall tell|strong="G2980" thee|strong="G4571" words|strong="G4487", whereby|strong="G3739" thou|strong="G4771" and|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" thy|strong="G4675" house|strong="G3624" shall be saved|strong="G4982".
15 And|strong="G1161" as|strong="G1722" I|strong="G3165" began|strong="G0756" to speak|strong="G2980", the Holy|strong="G0040" Ghost|strong="G4151" fell|strong="G1968" on|strong="G1909" them|strong="G0846", as|strong="G5618" on|strong="G1909" us|strong="G2248" at|strong="G1722" the beginning|strong="G0746".

17 Forasmuch|strong="G1487" then|strong="G3767" as|strong="G5613" God|strong="G2316" gave|strong="G1325" them|strong="G0846" the like|strong="G2470" gift|strong="G1431" as|strong="G2532" he did unto us|strong="G2254", who believed|strong="G4100" on|strong="G1909" the Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547"; what|strong="G5101" was|strong="G2252" I|strong="G1473", that I could|strong="G1415" withstand|strong="G2967" God|strong="G2316"?
18 When|strong="G1161" they heard|strong="G0191" these things|strong="G5023", they held their peace|strong="G2270", and|strong="G2532" glorified|strong="G1392" God|strong="G2316", saying|strong="G3004", Then|strong="G0686" hath|strong="G1325" God|strong="G2316" also|strong="G2532" to the Gentiles|strong="G1484" granted|strong="G1325" repentance|strong="G3341" unto|strong="G1519" life|strong="G2222".
19 Now|strong="G3767" they|strong="G3588" which were scattered abroad|strong="G1289" upon|strong="G0575" the persecution|strong="G2347" that arose|strong="G1096" about|strong="G1909" Stephen|strong="G4736" travelled|strong="G1330" as far as|strong="G2193" Phenice|strong="G5403", and|strong="G2532" Cyprus|strong="G2954", and|strong="G2532" Antioch|strong="G0490", preaching|strong="G2980" the word|strong="G3056" to none|strong="G3367" but|strong="G1487" unto the Jews|strong="G2453" only|strong="G3440".
20 And|strong="G1161" some|strong="G5100" of|strong="G1537" them|strong="G0846" were|strong="G2258" men|strong="G0435" of Cyprus|strong="G2953" and|strong="G2532" Cyrene|strong="G2956", which|strong="G3748", when they were come|strong="G1525" to|strong="G1519" Antioch|strong="G0490", spake|strong="G2980" unto|strong="G4314" the Grecians|strong="G1675", preaching|strong="G2097" the Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424".
21 And|strong="G2532" the hand|strong="G5495" of the Lord|strong="G2962" was|strong="G2258" with|strong="G3326" them|strong="G0846": and|strong="G5037" a great|strong="G4183" number|strong="G0706" believed|strong="G4100", and turned|strong="G1994" unto|strong="G1909" the Lord|strong="G2962".
22 Then|strong="G1161" tidings|strong="G3056" of|strong="G4012" these things|strong="G0846" came|strong="G0191" unto|strong="G1519" the ears|strong="G3775" of the church|strong="G1577" which was|strong="G3588" in|strong="G1722" Jerusalem|strong="G2414": and|strong="G2532" they sent forth|strong="G1821" Barnabas|strong="G0921", that he should go|strong="G1330" as far as|strong="G2193" Antioch|strong="G0490".
23 Who|strong="G3739", when he came|strong="G3854", and|strong="G2532" had seen|strong="G1492" the grace|strong="G5485" of God|strong="G2316", was glad|strong="G5463", and|strong="G2532" exhorted|strong="G3870" them all|strong="G3956", that with purpose|strong="G4286" of heart|strong="G2588" they would cleave|strong="G4357" unto the Lord|strong="G2962".
24 For|strong="G3754" he was|strong="G2258" a good|strong="G0018" man|strong="G0435", and|strong="G2532" full|strong="G4134" of the Holy|strong="G0040" Ghost|strong="G4151" and|strong="G2532" of faith|strong="G4102": and|strong="G2532" much|strong="G2425" people|strong="G3793" was added|strong="G4369" unto the Lord|strong="G2962".
25 Then|strong="G1161" departed|strong="G1831" Barnabas|strong="G0921" to|strong="G1519" Tarsus|strong="G5019", for to seek|strong="G0327" Saul|strong="G4569":
26 And|strong="G2532" when he had found|strong="G2147" him|strong="G0846", he brought|strong="G0071" him|strong="G0846" unto|strong="G1519" Antioch|strong="G0490". And|strong="G1161" it came to pass, that|strong="G1096" a whole|strong="G3650" year|strong="G1763" they assembled|strong="G4863" themselves|strong="G0846" with|strong="G1722" the church|strong="G1577", and|strong="G2532" taught|strong="G1321" much|strong="G2425" people|strong="G3793". And|strong="G5037" the disciples|strong="G3101" were called|strong="G5537" Christians|strong="G5546" first|strong="G4412" in|strong="G1722" Antioch|strong="G0490".
27 And|strong="G1161" in|strong="G1722" these|strong="G3778" days|strong="G2250" came|strong="G2718" prophets|strong="G4396" from|strong="G0575" Jerusalem|strong="G2414" unto|strong="G1519" Antioch|strong="G0490".
28 And|strong="G1161" there stood up|strong="G0450" one|strong="G1520" of|strong="G1537" them|strong="G0846" named|strong="G3686" Agabus|strong="G0013", and signified|strong="G4591" by|strong="G1223" the Spirit|strong="G4151" that there should|strong="G3195" be|strong="G2071" great|strong="G3173" dearth|strong="G3042" throughout|strong="G1909" all|strong="G3650" the world|strong="G3625": which|strong="G3748" came to pass|strong="G1096" in|strong="G1909" the days of Claudius|strong="G2804" Cæsar|strong="G2541".
29 Then|strong="G1161" the disciples|strong="G3101", every|strong="G1538" man|strong="G5100" according to|strong="G2531" his|strong="G0846" ability|strong="G2141", determined|strong="G3724" to send|strong="G3992" relief|strong="G1248" unto|strong="G1519" the brethren|strong="G0080" which|strong="G3588" dwelt|strong="G2730" in|strong="G1722" Judæa|strong="G2449":
30 Which|strong="G3739" also|strong="G2532" they did|strong="G4160", and sent it|strong="G0649" to|strong="G4314" the elders|strong="G4245" by|strong="G1223" the hands|strong="G5495" of Barnabas|strong="G0921" and|strong="G2532" Saul|strong="G4569".
