1 Um dos sete anjos que tinham as sete taças aproximou-se e me disse: "Venha, eu lhe mostrarei o julgamento da grande prostituta que está sentada sobre muitas águas,
2 With|strong="G3326" whom|strong="G3739" the kings|strong="G0935" of the earth|strong="G1093" have committed fornication|strong="G4203", and|strong="G2532" the inhabitants|strong="G2730" of the earth|strong="G1093" have been made drunk|strong="G3184" with|strong="G1537" the wine|strong="G3631" of her|strong="G0846" fornication|strong="G4202".
2 com quem os reis da terra se prostituíram; os habitantes da terra se embriagaram com o vinho da sua prostituição".

3 Então o anjo me levou no Espírito para um deserto. Ali vi uma mulher montada numa besta vermelha, que estava coberta de nomes blasfemos e que tinha sete cabeças e dez chifres.
4 And|strong="G2532" the woman|strong="G1135" was arrayed in|strong="G4016" purple|strong="G4209" and|strong="G2532" scarlet colour|strong="G2847", and|strong="G2532" decked|strong="G5558" with gold|strong="G5557" and|strong="G2532" precious|strong="G5093" stones|strong="G3037" and|strong="G2532" pearls|strong="G3135", having|strong="G2192" a golden|strong="G5552" cup|strong="G4221" in|strong="G1722" her|strong="G0846" hand|strong="G5495" full|strong="G1073" of abominations|strong="G0946" and|strong="G2532" filthiness|strong="G0168" of her|strong="G0846" fornication|strong="G4202":
4 A mulher estava vestida de azul e vermelho, e adornada de ouro, pedras preciosas e pérolas. Segurava um cálice de ouro, cheio de coisas repugnantes e da impureza da sua prostituição.
5 And|strong="G2532" upon|strong="G1909" her|strong="G0846" forehead|strong="G3359" was a name|strong="G3686" written|strong="G1125", MYSTERY|strong="G3466", BABYLON|strong="G0897" THE GREAT|strong="G3173", THE MOTHER|strong="G3384" OF HARLOTS|strong="G4204" AND|strong="G2532" ABOMINATIONS|strong="G0946" OF THE EARTH|strong="G1093".
5 Em sua testa havia esta inscrição: MISTÉRIO: BABILÔNIA, A GRANDE; A MÃE DAS PROSTITUTAS E DAS PRÁTICAS REPUGNANTES DA TERRA.
6 And|strong="G2532" I saw|strong="G1492" the woman|strong="G1135" drunken|strong="G3184" with|strong="G1537" the blood|strong="G0129" of the saints|strong="G0040", and|strong="G2532" with|strong="G1537" the blood|strong="G0129" of the martyrs|strong="G3144" of Jesus|strong="G2424": and|strong="G2532" when I saw|strong="G1492" her|strong="G0846", I wondered|strong="G2296" with great|strong="G3173" admiration|strong="G2295".
6 Vi que a mulher estava embriagada com o sangue dos santos, o sangue das testemunhas de Jesus. Quando a vi, fiquei muito admirado.
7 And|strong="G2532" the angel|strong="G0032" said unto|strong="G2036" me|strong="G3427", Wherefore|strong="G1223" didst thou marvel|strong="G2296"? I|strong="G1473" will tell|strong="G2046" thee|strong="G4671" the mystery|strong="G3466" of the woman|strong="G1135", and|strong="G2532" of the beast|strong="G2342" that carrieth|strong="G0941" her|strong="G0846", which|strong="G5101" hath|strong="G2192" the seven|strong="G2033" heads|strong="G2776" and|strong="G2532" ten|strong="G1176" horns|strong="G2768".
7 Então o anjo me disse: "Por que você está admirado? Eu lhe explicarei o mistério dessa mulher e da besta sobre a qual ela está montada, que tem sete cabeças e dez chifres.
8 The beast|strong="G3739" that|strong="G1492" thou sawest|strong="G2258" was|strong="G2532", and|strong="G3756" is|strong="G2532" not|strong="G2076"; and|strong="G3195" shall|strong="G0305" ascend|strong="G1537" out of|strong="G3588" the bottomless pit|strong="G2532", and|strong="G1519" go|strong="G2532" into|strong="G0684" perdition|strong="G5217": and|strong="G2296" they that|strong="G2730" dwell|strong="G1909" on|strong="G3588" the earth|strong="G3739" shall wonder|strong="G3588", whose|strong="G3756" names|strong="G1909" were|strong="G3588" not|strong="G1125" written|strong="G3588" in|strong="G3588" the book|strong="G3588" of life|strong="G0575" from|strong="G2602" the foundation|strong="G2889" of the world|strong="G0991", when they behold|strong="G3588" the beast|strong="G3739" that|strong="G5100" was|strong="G2532", and|strong="G3756" is|strong="G2539" not|strong="G2076", and yet|strong="G2076" is|strong="G2076".
8 A besta que você viu, era e já não é. Ela está para subir do abismo e caminha para a perdição. Os habitantes da terra, cujos nomes não foram escritos no livro da vida desde a criação do mundo, ficarão admirados quando virem a besta, porque ela era, agora não é, e entretanto virá.
9 And here|strong="G5602" is the mind|strong="G3563" which hath|strong="G2192" wisdom|strong="G4678". The seven|strong="G2033" heads|strong="G2776" are|strong="G1526" seven|strong="G2033" mountains|strong="G3735", on|strong="G1909" which|strong="G0846" the woman|strong="G1135" sitteth|strong="G2521".
9 "Aqui se requer mente sábia. As sete cabeças são sete colinas sobre as quais está sentada a mulher.
10 And|strong="G2532" there are|strong="G1526" seven|strong="G2033" kings|strong="G0935": five|strong="G4002" are fallen|strong="G4098", and|strong="G2532" one|strong="G1520" is|strong="G2076", and the other|strong="G0243" is not yet|strong="G3768" come|strong="G2064"; and|strong="G2532" when|strong="G3752" he|strong="G0846" cometh|strong="G2064", he must|strong="G1163" continue|strong="G3306" a short space|strong="G3641".
10 São também sete reis. Cinco já caíram, um ainda existe, e o outro ainda não surgiu; mas, quando surgir, deverá permanecer durante pouco tempo.
11 And|strong="G2532" the beast|strong="G2342" that|strong="G3739" was|strong="G2258", and|strong="G2532" is|strong="G2076" not|strong="G3756", even|strong="G2532" he|strong="G0846" is|strong="G2076" the eighth|strong="G3590", and|strong="G2532" is|strong="G2076" of|strong="G1537" the seven|strong="G2033", and|strong="G2532" goeth|strong="G5217" into|strong="G1519" perdition|strong="G0684".
11 A besta que era, e agora não é, é o oitavo rei. É um dos sete, e caminha para a perdição.
12 And|strong="G2532" the ten|strong="G1176" horns|strong="G2768" which|strong="G3739" thou sawest|strong="G1492" are|strong="G1526" ten|strong="G1176" kings|strong="G0935", which|strong="G3748" have received|strong="G2983" no|strong="G3768" kingdom|strong="G0932" as yet|strong="G3768"; but|strong="G0235" receive|strong="G2983" power|strong="G1849" as|strong="G5613" kings|strong="G0935" one|strong="G1520" hour|strong="G5610" with|strong="G3326" the beast|strong="G2342".
12 "Os dez chifres que você viu são dez reis que ainda não receberam reino, mas que por uma hora receberão autoridade como reis, juntamente com a besta.
13 These|strong="G3778" have|strong="G2192" one|strong="G1520" mind|strong="G1106", and|strong="G2532" shall give|strong="G1239" their|strong="G1438" power|strong="G1411" and|strong="G2532" strength|strong="G1849" unto the beast|strong="G2342".
13 Eles têm um único propósito, e darão seu poder e sua autoridade à besta.
14 These|strong="G3778" shall make war|strong="G4170" with|strong="G3326" the Lamb|strong="G0721", and|strong="G2532" the Lamb|strong="G0721" shall overcome|strong="G3528" them|strong="G0846": for|strong="G3754" he is|strong="G2076" Lord|strong="G2962" of lords|strong="G2962", and|strong="G2532" King|strong="G0935" of kings|strong="G0935": and|strong="G2532" they that are|strong="G3588" with|strong="G3326" him|strong="G0846" are called|strong="G2822", and|strong="G2532" chosen|strong="G1588", and|strong="G2532" faithful|strong="G4103".
14 Guerrearão contra o Cordeiro, mas o Cordeiro os vencerá, pois é o Senhor dos senhores e o Rei dos reis; e vencerão com ele os seus chamados, escolhidos e fiéis".
15 And|strong="G2532" he saith|strong="G3004" unto me|strong="G3427", The waters|strong="G5204" which|strong="G3739" thou sawest|strong="G1492", where|strong="G3757" the whore|strong="G4204" sitteth|strong="G2521", are|strong="G1526" peoples|strong="G2992", and|strong="G2532" multitudes|strong="G3793", and|strong="G2532" nations|strong="G1484", and|strong="G2532" tongues|strong="G1100".
15 Então o anjo me disse: "As águas que você viu, onde está sentada a prostituta, são povos, multidões, nações e línguas.
16 And|strong="G2532" the ten|strong="G1176" horns|strong="G2768" which|strong="G3739" thou sawest|strong="G1492" upon|strong="G1909" the beast|strong="G2342", these|strong="G3778" shall hate|strong="G3404" the whore|strong="G4204", and|strong="G2532" shall make|strong="G4160" her|strong="G0846" desolate|strong="G2049" and|strong="G2532" naked|strong="G1131", and|strong="G2532" shall eat|strong="G5315" her|strong="G0846" flesh|strong="G4561", and|strong="G2532" burn|strong="G2618" her|strong="G0846" with|strong="G1722" fire|strong="G4442".
16 A besta e os dez chifres que você viu odiarão a prostituta. Eles a levarão à ruína e a deixarão nua, comerão a sua carne e a destruirão com fogo,
17 For|strong="G1063" God|strong="G2316" hath put|strong="G1325" in|strong="G1519" their|strong="G0846" hearts|strong="G2588" to fulfil|strong="G4160" his|strong="G0846" will|strong="G1106", and|strong="G2532" to agree|strong="G4160", and|strong="G2532" give|strong="G1325" their|strong="G0846" kingdom|strong="G0932" unto the beast|strong="G2342", until|strong="G0891" the words|strong="G4487" of God|strong="G2316" shall be fulfilled|strong="G5055".
17 pois Deus colocou no coração deles o desejo de realizar o propósito que ele tem, levando-os a concordarem em dar à besta o poder que eles têm para reinar até que se cumpram as palavras de Deus.
18 And|strong="G2532" the woman|strong="G1135" which|strong="G3739" thou sawest|strong="G1492" is|strong="G2076" that great|strong="G3173" city|strong="G4172", which|strong="G2192" reigneth|strong="G0932" over|strong="G1909" the kings|strong="G0935" of the earth|strong="G1093".
18 A mulher que você viu é a grande cidade que reina sobre os reis da terra".
