2 And|strong="G2532" he cried|strong="G2896" mightily|strong="G2479" with|strong="G1722" a strong|strong="G3173" voice|strong="G5456", saying|strong="G3004", Babylon|strong="G0897" the great|strong="G3173" is fallen|strong="G4098", is fallen|strong="G4098", and|strong="G2532" is become|strong="G1096" the habitation|strong="G2732" of devils|strong="G1142", and|strong="G2532" the hold|strong="G5438" of every|strong="G3956" foul|strong="G0169" spirit|strong="G4151", and|strong="G2532" a cage|strong="G5438" of every|strong="G3956" unclean|strong="G0169" and|strong="G2532" hateful|strong="G3404" bird|strong="G3732".
3 For|strong="G3754" all|strong="G3956" nations|strong="G1484" have drunk|strong="G4095" of|strong="G1537" the wine|strong="G3631" of the wrath|strong="G2372" of her|strong="G0846" fornication|strong="G4202", and|strong="G2532" the kings|strong="G0935" of the earth|strong="G1093" have committed fornication|strong="G4203" with|strong="G3326" her|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" the merchants|strong="G1713" of the earth|strong="G1093" are waxed rich|strong="G4147" through|strong="G1537" the abundance|strong="G1411" of her|strong="G0846" delicacies|strong="G4764".
4 And|strong="G2532" I heard|strong="G0191" another|strong="G0243" voice|strong="G5456" from|strong="G1537" heaven|strong="G3772", saying|strong="G3004", Come|strong="G1831" out of|strong="G1537" her|strong="G0846", my|strong="G3450" people|strong="G2992", that|strong="G2443" ye be|strong="G4790" not|strong="G3361" partakers|strong="G4790" of her|strong="G0846" sins|strong="G0266", and|strong="G2532" that|strong="G2443" ye receive|strong="G2983" not|strong="G3361" of|strong="G1537" her|strong="G0846" plagues|strong="G4127".
5 For|strong="G3754" her|strong="G0846" sins|strong="G0266" have reached|strong="G0190" unto|strong="G0891" heaven|strong="G3772", and|strong="G2532" God|strong="G2316" hath remembered|strong="G3421" her|strong="G0846" iniquities|strong="G0092".
6 Reward|strong="G0591" her|strong="G0846" even|strong="G2532" as|strong="G5613" she|strong="G0846" rewarded|strong="G0591" you|strong="G5213", and|strong="G2532" double|strong="G1363" unto her|strong="G0846" double|strong="G1362" according to|strong="G2596" her|strong="G0846" works|strong="G2041": in|strong="G1722" the cup|strong="G4221" which|strong="G3739" she hath filled|strong="G2767" fill|strong="G2767" to her|strong="G0846" double|strong="G1362".
7 How much|strong="G3745" she hath glorified|strong="G1392" herself|strong="G1438", and|strong="G2532" lived deliciously|strong="G4763", so much|strong="G5118" torment|strong="G0929" and|strong="G2532" sorrow|strong="G3997" give|strong="G1325" her|strong="G0846": for|strong="G3754" she saith|strong="G3004" in|strong="G1722" her|strong="G0846" heart|strong="G2588", I sit|strong="G2521" a queen|strong="G0938", and|strong="G2532" am|strong="G1510" no|strong="G3756" widow|strong="G5503", and|strong="G2532" shall see|strong="G1492" no|strong="G3756" sorrow|strong="G3997".
8 Therefore|strong="G1223" shall|strong="G2240" her|strong="G0846" plagues|strong="G4127" come|strong="G2240" in|strong="G1722" one|strong="G1520" day|strong="G2250", death|strong="G2288", and|strong="G2532" mourning|strong="G3997", and|strong="G2532" famine|strong="G3042"; and|strong="G2532" she shall be utterly burned|strong="G2618" with|strong="G1722" fire|strong="G4442": for|strong="G3754" strong|strong="G2478" is the Lord|strong="G2962" God|strong="G2316" who judgeth|strong="G2919" her|strong="G0846".
9 And|strong="G2532" the kings|strong="G0935" of the earth|strong="G1093", who|strong="G3588" have committed fornication|strong="G4203" and|strong="G2532" lived deliciously|strong="G4763" with|strong="G3326" her|strong="G0846", shall bewail|strong="G2799" her|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" lament|strong="G2875" for|strong="G1909" her|strong="G0846", when|strong="G3752" they shall see|strong="G0991" the smoke|strong="G2586" of her|strong="G0846" burning|strong="G4451",
10 Standing|strong="G2476" afar|strong="G3113" off|strong="G0575" for|strong="G1223" the fear|strong="G5401" of her|strong="G0846" torment|strong="G0929", saying|strong="G3004", Alas|strong="G3759", alas|strong="G3759", that|strong="G3588" great|strong="G3173" city|strong="G4172" Babylon|strong="G0897", that mighty|strong="G2478" city|strong="G4172"! for|strong="G3754" in|strong="G1722" one|strong="G1520" hour|strong="G5610" is thy|strong="G4675" judgment|strong="G2920" come|strong="G2064".

14 And|strong="G2532" the fruits|strong="G3703" that|strong="G3588" thy|strong="G4675" soul|strong="G5590" lusted after|strong="G1939" are departed|strong="G0565" from|strong="G0575" thee|strong="G4675", and|strong="G2532" all things|strong="G3956" which were dainty|strong="G3045" and|strong="G2532" goodly|strong="G2986" are departed|strong="G0565" from|strong="G0575" thee|strong="G4675", and|strong="G2532" thou shalt find|strong="G2147" them|strong="G0846" no more|strong="G3765" at all|strong="G3361".
15 The merchants|strong="G1713" of these things|strong="G5130", which|strong="G3588" were made rich|strong="G4147" by|strong="G0575" her|strong="G0846", shall stand|strong="G2476" afar|strong="G3113" off|strong="G0575" for|strong="G1223" the fear|strong="G5401" of her|strong="G0846" torment|strong="G0929", weeping|strong="G2799" and|strong="G2532" wailing|strong="G3996",

17 For|strong="G3754" in one|strong="G1520" hour|strong="G5610" so great|strong="G5118" riches|strong="G4149" is come to nought|strong="G2049". And|strong="G2532" every|strong="G3956" shipmaster|strong="G2942", and|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" the company|strong="G3658" in|strong="G1909" ships|strong="G4143", and|strong="G2532" sailors|strong="G3492", and|strong="G2532" as many as|strong="G3745" trade by|strong="G2038" sea|strong="G2281", stood|strong="G2476" afar|strong="G3113" off|strong="G0575",
18 And|strong="G2532" cried|strong="G2896" when they saw|strong="G3708" the smoke|strong="G2586" of her|strong="G0846" burning|strong="G4451", saying|strong="G3004", What|strong="G5101" city is like unto|strong="G3664" this great|strong="G3173" city|strong="G4172"!
19 And|strong="G2532" they cast|strong="G0906" dust|strong="G5522" on|strong="G1909" their|strong="G0846" heads|strong="G2776", and|strong="G2532" cried|strong="G2896", weeping|strong="G2799" and|strong="G2532" wailing|strong="G3996", saying|strong="G3004", Alas|strong="G3759", alas|strong="G3759", that|strong="G3739" great|strong="G3173" city|strong="G4172", wherein|strong="G1722" were made rich|strong="G4147" all|strong="G3956" that had|strong="G2192" ships|strong="G4143" in|strong="G1722" the sea|strong="G2281" by reason of|strong="G1537" her|strong="G0846" costliness|strong="G5094"! for|strong="G3754" in one|strong="G1520" hour|strong="G5610" is she made desolate|strong="G2049".
20 Rejoice|strong="G2165" over|strong="G1909" her|strong="G0846", thou heaven|strong="G3772", and|strong="G2532" ye holy|strong="G0040" apostles|strong="G0652" and|strong="G2532" prophets|strong="G4396"; for|strong="G3754" God|strong="G2316" hath|strong="G2919" avenged|strong="G2917" you|strong="G5216" on|strong="G1537" her|strong="G0846".
21 And|strong="G2532" a|strong="G1520" mighty|strong="G2478" angel|strong="G0032" took up|strong="G0142" a stone|strong="G3037" like|strong="G5613" a great|strong="G3173" millstone|strong="G3458", and|strong="G2532" cast|strong="G0906" it into|strong="G1519" the sea|strong="G2281", saying|strong="G3004", Thus|strong="G3779" with violence|strong="G3731" shall|strong="G0906" that great|strong="G3173" city|strong="G4172" Babylon|strong="G0897" be thrown down|strong="G0906", and|strong="G2532" shall be found|strong="G2147" no|strong="G3756" more|strong="G2089" at all|strong="G3361".
22 And|strong="G2532" the voice|strong="G5456" of harpers|strong="G2790", and|strong="G2532" musicians|strong="G3451", and|strong="G2532" of pipers|strong="G0834", and|strong="G2532" trumpeters|strong="G4538", shall be heard|strong="G0191" no|strong="G3756" more|strong="G2089" at all|strong="G3361" in|strong="G1722" thee|strong="G4671"; and|strong="G2532" no|strong="G3956" craftsman|strong="G5079", of whatsoever|strong="G3956" craft|strong="G5078" he be, shall be found|strong="G2147" any|strong="G3756" more|strong="G2089" in|strong="G1722" thee|strong="G4671"; and|strong="G2532" the sound|strong="G5456" of a millstone|strong="G3458" shall be heard|strong="G0191" no|strong="G3756" more|strong="G2089" at all|strong="G3361" in|strong="G1722" thee|strong="G4671";
23 And|strong="G2532" the light|strong="G5457" of a candle|strong="G3088" shall shine|strong="G5316" no|strong="G3756" more|strong="G2089" at all|strong="G3361" in|strong="G1722" thee|strong="G4671"; and|strong="G2532" the voice|strong="G5456" of the bridegroom|strong="G3566" and|strong="G2532" of the bride|strong="G3565" shall be heard|strong="G0191" no|strong="G3756" more|strong="G2089" at all|strong="G3361" in|strong="G1722" thee|strong="G4671": for|strong="G3754" thy|strong="G4675" merchants|strong="G1713" were|strong="G2258" the great men|strong="G3175" of the earth|strong="G1093"; for|strong="G3754" by|strong="G1722" thy|strong="G4675" sorceries|strong="G5331" were|strong="G4105" all|strong="G3956" nations|strong="G1484" deceived|strong="G4105".
24 And|strong="G2532" in|strong="G1722" her|strong="G0846" was found|strong="G2147" the blood|strong="G0129" of prophets|strong="G4396", and|strong="G2532" of saints|strong="G0040", and|strong="G2532" of all|strong="G3956" that were slain|strong="G4969" upon|strong="G1909" the earth|strong="G1093".
