1 Then David|strong="H1732" said|strong="H0559", This is the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430", and this is the altar|strong="H4196" of the burnt offering|strong="H5930" for Israel|strong="H3478".
1 Então disse Davi: "Este é o lugar para o templo de Deus, o Senhor, e do altar de holocaustos para Israel".
2 And David|strong="H1732" commanded|strong="H0559" to gather together|strong="H3664" the strangers|strong="H1616" that were in the land|strong="H0776" of Israel|strong="H3478"; and he set|strong="H5975" masons|strong="H2672" to hew|strong="H2672" wrought|strong="H1496" stones|strong="H0068" to build|strong="H1129" the house|strong="H1004" of God|strong="H0430".
2 Então Davi deu ordens para que se reunissem os estrangeiros que viviam em Israel, e dentre eles designou cortadores de pedra para prepararem pedras lavradas para a construção do templo de Deus.
3 And David|strong="H1732" prepared|strong="H3559" iron|strong="H1270" in abundance|strong="H7230" for the nails|strong="H4548" for the doors|strong="H1817" of the gates|strong="H8179", and for the joinings|strong="H4226"; and brass|strong="H5178" in abundance|strong="H7230" without weight|strong="H4948";
3 Ele providenciou grande quantidade de ferro para a fabricação de pregos e dobradiças para as portas, e mais bronze do que se podia pesar.
4 Also cedar|strong="H0730" trees|strong="H6086" in abundance|strong="H0369": for the Zidonians|strong="H6722" and they of Tyre|strong="H6876" brought|strong="H0935" much|strong="H7230" cedar|strong="H0730" wood|strong="H6086" to David|strong="H1732".
4 Também providenciou mais toras de cedro do que se podia contar, pois os sidônios e os tírios haviam trazido muito cedro para Davi.
5 And David|strong="H1732" said|strong="H0559", Solomon|strong="H8010" my son|strong="H1121" is young|strong="H5288" and tender|strong="H7390", and the house|strong="H1004" that is to be builded|strong="H1129" for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* must be exceeding|strong="H4605" magnifical|strong="H1431", of fame|strong="H8034" and of glory|strong="H8597" throughout all countries|strong="H0776": I will therefore now make preparation|strong="H3559" for it. So David|strong="H1732" prepared|strong="H3559" abundantly|strong="H7230" before|strong="H6440" his death|strong="H4194".
5 Davi pensava: "Meu filho Salomão é jovem e inexperiente, e o templo que será construído para o Senhor deve ser extraordinariamente magnífico, famoso e cheio de esplendor à vista de todas as nações. Por isso deixarei tudo preparado para a construção". Assim, Davi deixou tudo preparado antes de morrer.
6 Then he called|strong="H7121" for Solomon|strong="H8010" his son|strong="H1121", and charged|strong="H6680" him to build|strong="H1129" an house|strong="H1004" for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478".
6 Davi mandou chamar seu filho Salomão e ordenou que ele construísse um templo para o Senhor, o Deus de Israel,
7 And David|strong="H1732" said|strong="H0559" to Solomon|strong="H8010", My son|strong="H1121", as for me, it was in my mind|strong="H3824" to build|strong="H1129" an house|strong="H1004" unto the name|strong="H8034" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* my God|strong="H0430":
7 dizendo: "Meu filho, eu tinha no coração o propósito de construir um templo em honra do nome do Senhor, o meu Deus.
8 But the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came to me, saying|strong="H0559", Thou hast shed|strong="H8210" blood|strong="H1818" abundantly|strong="H7230", and hast made|strong="H6213" great|strong="H1419" wars|strong="H4421": thou shalt not build|strong="H1129" an house|strong="H1004" unto my name|strong="H8034", because thou hast shed|strong="H8210" much|strong="H7227" blood|strong="H1818" upon the earth|strong="H0776" in my sight|strong="H6440".
8 Mas veio a mim esta palavra do Senhor: ‘Você matou muita gente e empreendeu muitas guerras. Por isso você não construirá um templo em honra do meu nome, pois derramou muito sangue na terra, diante de mim.
9 Behold, a son|strong="H1121" shall be born|strong="H3205" to thee, who shall be a man|strong="H0376" of rest|strong="H4496"; and I will give him rest|strong="H5117" from all his enemies|strong="H0341" round about|strong="H5439": for his name|strong="H8034" shall be Solomon|strong="H8010", and I will give|strong="H5414" peace|strong="H7965" and quietness|strong="H8253" unto Israel|strong="H3478" in his days|strong="H3117".
9 Mas você terá um filho que será um homem de paz, e eu farei com que ele tenha paz com todos os inimigos ao redor dele. Seu nome será Salomão, e eu darei paz e tranqüilidade a Israel durante o reinado dele.
10 He shall build|strong="H1129" an house|strong="H1004" for my name|strong="H8034"; and he shall be my son|strong="H1121", and I will be his father|strong="H0001"; and I will establish|strong="H3559" the throne|strong="H3678" of his kingdom|strong="H4438" over Israel|strong="H3478" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769".
10 É ele que vai construir um templo em honra do meu nome. Eu serei seu pai e ele será meu filho. E eu firmarei para sempre o trono do reinado dele sobre Israel’.
11 Now, my son|strong="H1121", the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* be with thee; and prosper|strong="H6743" thou, and build|strong="H1129" the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430", as he hath said|strong="H1696" of thee.
11 "Agora, meu filho, que o Senhor seja com você, para que você consiga construir o templo do Senhor, o seu Deus, conforme ele disse que você faria.
12 Only the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* give|strong="H5414" thee wisdom|strong="H7922" and understanding|strong="H0998", and give thee charge|strong="H6680" concerning Israel|strong="H3478", that thou mayest keep|strong="H8104" the law|strong="H8451" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430".
12 Que o Senhor lhe dê prudência e entendimento para que você obedeça à lei do Senhor, o seu Deus, quando ele o puser como líder de Israel.
13 Then shalt thou prosper|strong="H6743", if thou takest heed|strong="H8104" to fulfil|strong="H6213" the statutes|strong="H2706" and judgments|strong="H4941" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* charged|strong="H6680" Moses|strong="H4872" with concerning Israel|strong="H3478": be strong|strong="H2388", and of good courage|strong="H0553"; dread|strong="H3372" not, nor be dismayed|strong="H2865".
13 E você prosperará se for cuidadoso em obedecer aos decretos e às leis que o Senhor deu a Israel por meio de Moisés. Seja forte e corajoso! Não tenha medo nem se desanime!
14 Now, behold, in my trouble|strong="H6040" I have prepared|strong="H3559" for the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* an hundred|strong="H3967" thousand|strong="H0505" talents|strong="H3603" of gold|strong="H2091", and a thousand|strong="H0505" thousand|strong="H0505" talents|strong="H3603" of silver|strong="H3701"; and of brass|strong="H5178" and iron|strong="H1270" without weight|strong="H4948"; for it is in abundance|strong="H7230": timber|strong="H6086" also and stone|strong="H0068" have I prepared|strong="H3559"; and thou mayest add|strong="H3254" thereto.
14 "Com muito esforço providenciei para o templo do Senhor três mil e quinhentas toneladas de ouro, trinta e cinco mil toneladas de prata, e tanto bronze e ferro que nem dá para calcular, além de madeira e pedra. E você ainda poderá aumentar a quantidade desse material.
15 Moreover there are workmen|strong="H6213" with thee in abundance|strong="H7230", hewers|strong="H2672" and workers|strong="H2796" of stone|strong="H0068" and timber|strong="H6086", and all manner of cunning men|strong="H2450" for every manner of work|strong="H4399".
15 Você tem muitos trabalhadores: cortadores de pedras, pedreiros e carpinteiros, bem como especialistas em todo tipo de trabalho
16 Of the gold|strong="H2091", the silver|strong="H3701", and the brass|strong="H5178", and the iron|strong="H1270", there is no number|strong="H4557". Arise|strong="H6965" therefore, and be doing|strong="H6213", and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* be with thee.
16 em ouro, prata, bronze e ferro. Agora comece o trabalho, e que o Senhor esteja com você".
17 David|strong="H1732" also commanded|strong="H6680" all the princes|strong="H8269" of Israel|strong="H3478" to help|strong="H5826" Solomon|strong="H8010" his son|strong="H1121", saying,
17 Então Davi ordenou a todos os líderes de Israel que ajudassem seu filho Salomão.
18 Is not the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430" with you? and hath he not given you rest|strong="H5117" on every side|strong="H5439"? for he hath given|strong="H5414" the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of the land|strong="H0776" into mine hand|strong="H3027"; and the land|strong="H0776" is subdued|strong="H3533" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and before|strong="H6440" his people|strong="H5971".
18 Disse ele: "Certamente o Senhor, o seu Deus, está com vocês, e lhes concedeu paz. Pois ele entregou os habitantes dessa terra em minhas mãos, e ela foi submetida ao Senhor e ao seu povo.
19 Now set|strong="H5414" your heart|strong="H3824" and your soul|strong="H5315" to seek|strong="H1875" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430"; arise|strong="H6965" therefore, and build|strong="H1129" ye the sanctuary|strong="H4720" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430", to bring|strong="H0935" the ark|strong="H0727" of the covenant|strong="H1285" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and the holy|strong="H6944" vessels|strong="H3627" of God|strong="H0430", into the house|strong="H1004" that is to be built|strong="H1129" to the name|strong="H8034" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
19 Agora consagrem o coração e a alma para buscarem o Senhor, o seu Deus. Comecem a construir o santuário de Deus, o Senhor, para que vocês possam trazer a arca da aliança do Senhor e os utensílios sagrados que pertencem a Deus para dentro do templo que será construído em honra do nome do Senhor".
