1 Now it came to pass, as David|strong="H1732" sat|strong="H3427" in his house|strong="H1004", that David|strong="H1732" said|strong="H0559" to Nathan|strong="H5416" the prophet|strong="H5030", Lo, I dwell|strong="H3427" in an house|strong="H1004" of cedars|strong="H0730", but the ark|strong="H0727" of the covenant|strong="H1285" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* remaineth under curtains|strong="H3407".
1 Sucedeu que, habitando Davi em sua própria casa, disse ao profeta Natã: Eis que moro em casa de cedros, mas a arca da Aliança do Senhor se acha numa tenda.
2 Then Nathan|strong="H5416" said|strong="H0559" unto David|strong="H1732", Do|strong="H6213" all that is in thine heart|strong="H3824"; for God|strong="H0430" is with thee.
2 Então, Natã disse a Davi: Faze tudo quanto está no teu coração, porque Deus é contigo.
3 And it came to pass the same night|strong="H3915", that the word|strong="H1697" of God|strong="H0430" came to Nathan|strong="H5416", saying|strong="H0559",
3 Porém, naquela mesma noite, veio a palavra do Senhor a Natã, dizendo:
4 Go|strong="H3212" and tell|strong="H0559" David|strong="H1732" my servant|strong="H5650", Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, Thou shalt not build|strong="H1129" me an house|strong="H1004" to dwell in|strong="H3427":
4 Vai e dize a meu servo Davi: Assim diz o Senhor : Tu não edificarás casa para minha habitação;
5 For I have not dwelt in|strong="H3427" an house|strong="H1004" since the day|strong="H3117" that I brought up|strong="H5927" Israel|strong="H3478" unto this day|strong="H3117"; but have gone from tent|strong="H0168" to tent|strong="H0168", and from one tabernacle|strong="H4908" to another.
5 porque em casa nenhuma habitei, desde o dia que fiz subir a Israel até ao dia de hoje; mas tenho andado de tenda em tenda, de tabernáculo em tabernáculo.
6 Wheresoever I have walked|strong="H1980" with all Israel|strong="H3478", spake|strong="H1696" I a word|strong="H1697" to any|strong="H0259" of the judges|strong="H8199" of Israel|strong="H3478", whom I commanded|strong="H6680" to feed|strong="H7462" my people|strong="H5971", saying|strong="H0559", Why have ye not built|strong="H1129" me an house|strong="H1004" of cedars|strong="H0730"?
6 Em todo lugar em que andei com todo o Israel, falei, acaso, alguma palavra com algum dos seus juízes, a quem mandei apascentar o meu povo, dizendo: Por que não me edificais uma casa de cedro?
7 Now therefore thus shalt thou say|strong="H0559" unto my servant|strong="H5650" David|strong="H1732", Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", I took|strong="H3947" thee from the sheepcote|strong="H5116", even from following|strong="H0310" the sheep|strong="H6629", that thou shouldest be ruler|strong="H5057" over my people|strong="H5971" Israel|strong="H3478":
7 Agora, pois, assim dirás ao meu servo Davi: Assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos: Tomei-te da malhada e de detrás das ovelhas, para que fosses príncipe sobre o meu povo de Israel.
8 And I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked|strong="H1980", and have cut off|strong="H3772" all thine enemies|strong="H0341" from before|strong="H6440" thee, and have made|strong="H6213" thee a name|strong="H8034" like the name|strong="H8034" of the great men|strong="H1419" that are in the earth|strong="H0776".
8 E fui contigo, por onde quer que andaste, eliminei os teus inimigos de diante de ti e fiz grande o teu nome, como só os grandes têm na terra.
9 Also I will ordain|strong="H7760" a place|strong="H4725" for my people|strong="H5971" Israel|strong="H3478", and will plant|strong="H5193" them, and they shall dwell|strong="H7931" in their place, and shall be moved|strong="H7264" no more; neither shall the children|strong="H1121" of wickedness|strong="H5766" waste|strong="H1086" them any more|strong="H3254", as at the beginning|strong="H7223",
9 Prepararei lugar para o meu povo de Israel e o plantarei para que habite no seu lugar e não mais seja perturbado; e jamais os filhos da perversidade o oprimam, como dantes,
10 And since the time|strong="H3117" that I commanded|strong="H6680" judges|strong="H8199" to be over my people|strong="H5971" Israel|strong="H3478". Moreover I will subdue|strong="H3665" all thine enemies|strong="H0341". Furthermore I tell|strong="H5046" thee that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* will build|strong="H1129" thee an house|strong="H1004".
10 desde o dia em que mandei houvesse juízes sobre o meu povo de Israel; porém abati todos os teus inimigos e também te fiz saber que o Senhor te edificaria uma casa.
11 And it shall come to pass, when thy days|strong="H3117" be expired|strong="H4390" that thou must go|strong="H3212" to be with thy fathers|strong="H0001", that I will raise up|strong="H6965" thy seed|strong="H2233" after|strong="H0310" thee, which shall be of thy sons|strong="H1121"; and I will establish|strong="H3559" his kingdom|strong="H4438".
11 Há de ser que, quando teus dias se cumprirem, e tiveres de ir para junto de teus pais, então, farei levantar depois de ti o teu descendente, que será dos teus filhos, e estabelecerei o seu reino.
12 He shall build|strong="H1129" me an house|strong="H1004", and I will stablish|strong="H3559" his throne|strong="H3678" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769".
12 Esse me edificará casa; e eu estabelecerei o seu trono para sempre.
13 I will be his father|strong="H0001", and he shall be my son|strong="H1121": and I will not take|strong="H5493" my mercy|strong="H2617" away|strong="H5493" from him, as I took|strong="H5493" it from him that was before|strong="H6440" thee:
13 Eu lhe serei por pai, e ele me será por filho; a minha misericórdia não apartarei dele, como a retirei daquele que foi antes de ti.
14 But I will settle|strong="H5975" him in mine house|strong="H1004" and in my kingdom|strong="H4438" for ever|strong="H5769": and his throne|strong="H3678" shall be established|strong="H3559" for|strong="H5704" evermore|strong="H5769".
14 Mas o confirmarei na minha casa e no meu reino para sempre, e o seu trono será estabelecido para sempre.
15 According to all these words|strong="H1697", and according to all this vision|strong="H2377", so did Nathan|strong="H5416" speak|strong="H1696" unto David|strong="H1732".
15 Segundo todas estas palavras e conforme toda esta visão, assim falou Natã a Davi.
16 And David|strong="H1732" the king|strong="H4428" came|strong="H0935" and sat|strong="H3427" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and said|strong="H0559", Who am I, O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430", and what is mine house|strong="H1004", that thou hast brought|strong="H0935" me hitherto|strong="H1988"?
16 Então, entrou o rei Davi na Casa do Senhor , ficou perante ele e disse: Quem sou eu, Senhor Deus, e qual é a minha casa, para que me tenhas trazido até aqui?
17 And yet this was a small thing|strong="H6994" in thine eyes|strong="H5869", O God|strong="H0430"; for thou hast also spoken|strong="H1696" of thy servant’s|strong="H5650" house|strong="H1004" for a great while to come|strong="H7350", and hast regarded|strong="H7200" me according to the estate|strong="H8448" of a man|strong="H0120" of high degree|strong="H4609", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430".
17 Foi isso ainda pouco aos teus olhos, ó Deus, de maneira que também falaste a respeito da casa de teu servo para tempos distantes; e me trataste como se eu fosse homem ilustre, ó Senhor Deus.
18 What can|strong="H3254" David|strong="H1732" speak more|strong="H3254" to thee for the honour|strong="H3519" of thy servant|strong="H5650"? for thou knowest|strong="H3045" thy servant|strong="H5650".
18 Que mais ainda te poderá dizer Davi acerca das honras feitas a teu servo? Pois tu conheces bem teu servo.
19 O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, for thy servant’s|strong="H5650" sake, and according to thine own heart|strong="H3820", hast thou done|strong="H6213" all this greatness|strong="H1420", in making known|strong="H3045" all these great things|strong="H1420".
19 Ó Senhor , por amor de teu servo e segundo o teu coração, fizeste toda esta grandeza, para tornar notórias todas estas grandes coisas!
20 O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, there is none like thee, neither is there any God|strong="H0430" beside|strong="H2108" thee, according to all that we have heard|strong="H8085" with our ears|strong="H0241".
20 Senhor , ninguém há semelhante a ti, e não há outro Deus além de ti, segundo tudo o que nós mesmos temos ouvido.
21 And what one|strong="H0259" nation|strong="H1471" in the earth|strong="H0776" is like thy people|strong="H5971" Israel|strong="H3478", whom God|strong="H0430" went|strong="H1980" to redeem|strong="H6299" to be his own people|strong="H5971", to make|strong="H7760" thee a name|strong="H8034" of greatness|strong="H1420" and terribleness|strong="H3372", by driving out|strong="H1644" nations|strong="H1471" from before|strong="H6440" thy people|strong="H5971", whom thou hast redeemed|strong="H6299" out of Egypt|strong="H4714"?
21 Quem há como o teu povo de Israel, gente única na terra, a quem tu, ó Deus, foste resgatar para ser teu povo e fazer a ti mesmo um nome, com estas grandes e tremendas coisas, desterrando as nações de diante do teu povo, que remiste do Egito?
22 For thy people|strong="H5971" Israel|strong="H3478" didst thou make|strong="H5414" thine own people|strong="H5971" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769"; and thou, \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, becamest their God|strong="H0430".
22 Estabeleceste a teu povo de Israel por teu povo, para sempre, e tu, ó Senhor , te fizeste o seu Deus.
23 Therefore now, \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, let the thing|strong="H1697" that thou hast spoken|strong="H1696" concerning thy servant|strong="H5650" and concerning his house|strong="H1004" be established|strong="H0539" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769", and do|strong="H6213" as thou hast said|strong="H1696".
23 Agora, pois, ó Senhor , a palavra que disseste acerca de teu servo e acerca da sua casa, seja estabelecida para sempre; e faze como falaste.
24 Let it even be established|strong="H0539", that thy name|strong="H8034" may be magnified|strong="H1431" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769", saying|strong="H0559", The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" is the God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478", even a God|strong="H0430" to Israel|strong="H3478": and let the house|strong="H1004" of David|strong="H1732" thy servant|strong="H5650" be established|strong="H3559" before|strong="H6440" thee.
24 Estabeleça-se, e seja para sempre engrandecido o teu nome, e diga-se: O Senhor dos Exércitos é o Deus de Israel, é Deus para Israel; e a casa de Davi, teu servo, será estabelecida diante de ti.
25 For thou, O my God|strong="H0430", hast told|strong="H1540" thy servant|strong="H5650" that thou wilt build|strong="H1129" him an house|strong="H1004": therefore thy servant|strong="H5650" hath found|strong="H4672" in his heart to pray|strong="H6419" before|strong="H6440" thee.
25 Pois tu, Deus meu, fizeste ao teu servo a revelação de que lhe edificarias casa. Por isso, o teu servo se animou para fazer-te esta oração.
26 And now, \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, thou art God|strong="H0430", and hast promised|strong="H1696" this goodness|strong="H2896" unto thy servant|strong="H5650":
26 Agora, pois, ó Senhor , tu mesmo és Deus e prometeste a teu servo este bem.
27 Now therefore let it please|strong="H2974" thee to bless|strong="H1288" the house|strong="H1004" of thy servant|strong="H5650", that it may be before|strong="H6440" thee for ever|strong="H5769": for thou blessest|strong="H1288", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and it shall be blessed|strong="H1288" for ever|strong="H5769".
27 Sê, pois, agora, servido de abençoar a casa de teu servo, a fim de permanecer para sempre diante de ti, pois tu, ó Senhor , a abençoaste, e abençoada será para sempre.
