¹ Ao Músico-chefe, sobre Neginote, Salmo de Davi. Ouve o meu clamor, ó Deus; atende à minha oração.

² Hear, O God, my supplication: be attentive to my prayer,

² Do fim da terra eu clamarei a ti, quando o meu coração estiver oprimido; guia-me para a rocha que é mais alta do que eu.

³ To thee have I cried from the ends of the earth: when my heart was in anguish, thou hast exalted me on a rock. Thou hast conducted me;

³ Pois tu tens sido um abrigo para mim, e uma torre forte contra o inimigo.

⁴ for thou hast been my hope; a tower of strength against the face of the enemy.

⁴ Eu habitarei no teu tabernáculo para sempre; eu confiarei no esconderijo das tuas asas. Selá.

⁵ In thy tabernacle I shall dwell for ever: I shall be protected under the covert of thy wings.

⁵ Pois tu, ó Deus, ouviste os meus votos; tu me deste a herança daqueles que temem o teu nome.

⁶ For thou, my God, hast heard my prayer: thou hast given an inheritance to them that fear thy name.

⁶ Tu prolongarás a vida do rei, e os seus anos como os de muitas gerações.

⁷ Thou wilt add days to the days of the king: his years even to generation and generation.

⁷ Ele habitará diante de Deus para sempre; ó, prepara misericórdia e verdade, para que possam preservá-lo.

⁸ He abideth for ever in the sight of God: his mercy and truth who shall search ?
