1 Unto the end, a psalm for David. How long, O Lord, wilt thou forget me unto the end? how long dost thou turn away thy face from me?
1 Ao Músico-chefe, Salmo de Davi. Ó SENHOR, por quanto tempo me esquecerás? Para sempre? Por quanto tempo esconderás tua face de mim?
2 How long shall I take counsels in my soul, sorrow in my heart all the day?
2 Por quanto tempo devo tomar conselho de minha alma, tendo tristeza no meu coração diariamente? Por quanto tempo será exaltado o meu inimigo sobre mim?
3 How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
3 Considera e ouve-me, ó SENHOR meu Deus; ilumina os meus olhos para que eu não durma o sono da morte;
4 Consider, and hear me, O Lord my God. Enlighten my eyes that I never sleep in death:
4 Para que o meu inimigo não diga: Eu prevaleci contra ele; e não se regozijem aqueles que me perturbam, quando eu vacilar.
5 lest at any time my enemy say: I have prevailed against him. They that trouble me will rejoice when I am moved:
5 Mas eu confiei na tua misericórdia; meu coração se regozijará na tua salvação.
6 but I have trusted in thy mercy. My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation: I will sing to the Lord, who giveth me good things: yea I will sing to the name of the Lord the most high.
6 Eu cantarei ao SENHOR porque ele me tratou generosamente.
