1 Unto the end, a psalm for David. How long, O Lord, wilt thou forget me unto the end? how long dost thou turn away thy face from me?
1 Até quando te esquecerás de mim, Senhor ? Para sempre? Até quando esconderás de mim o teu rosto?
2 How long shall I take counsels in my soul, sorrow in my heart all the day?
2 Até quando consultarei com a minha alma, tendo tristeza no meu coração cada dia? Até quando se exaltará sobre mim o meu inimigo?
3 How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
3 Atenta em mim, ouve-me, ó Senhor , meu Deus; alumia os meus olhos para que eu não adormeça na morte;
4 Consider, and hear me, O Lord my God. Enlighten my eyes that I never sleep in death:
4 para que o meu inimigo não diga: Prevaleci contra ele; e os meus adversários se não alegrem, vindo eu a vacilar.
5 lest at any time my enemy say: I have prevailed against him. They that trouble me will rejoice when I am moved:
5 Mas eu confio na tua benignidade; na tua salvação, meu coração se alegrará.
6 but I have trusted in thy mercy. My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation: I will sing to the Lord, who giveth me good things: yea I will sing to the name of the Lord the most high.
6 Cantarei ao Senhor , porquanto me tem feito muito bem.
