1 Këya, pälkë luɔi kärɛc ëbën, pälkë lueth ku ruëëny, ku duɔ̈kkë wepuɔ̈th ye yiëk këpɛth kɔc kɔ̈k. Ku duɔ̈kkë kɔc kɔ̈k ye lɛ̈k gup wël rac ë path.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Luɔikë röt bäk ciɛ̈t mïthkor ye ciɛk path ke muk. Yakë ciɛk path wïc akölaköl, ciɛk ë wɛ̈ikun ku bï wɛ̈ikun dït ke we ŋic Nhialic.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Rin acï gɔ̈t athör thɛɛr wël Nhialic yic ëlä, “Acäk yök ë röt yen tɛ̈ pɛth Bɛ̈ny thïn.”
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Bäkkë tënë Bɛ̈ny, Bɛ̈ny yen cït alel pïr wäär cï kɔc jai, ku acï Nhialic kuany ke ye këpath apɛi.

5 Ku week aya, cït aleel pïr, wek aa buth bäk aa luaŋ wëi. Ku bäk aa kɔc la cök lëu ye bäk käk wëi cï Nhialic gam juɛ̈r ye rin Jethu Krïtho.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Rin alëu raan bï kueen athör thɛɛr wël Nhialic yic, ee yen ye lueel thïn ëlä,
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Alel kënë apath apɛi tënë wek kɔc cï gam, ku tënë kɔc këc ye gam.
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Rin acï gɔ̈t abaŋ dɛ̈t yic athör thɛɛr wël Nhialic yic ëlä,
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Wek aa kɔc cï Nhialic kuany ku wek aa kɔc käk Nhialic aya, yen bɛ̈nyŋaknhom, wun cï lɔc bï Nhialic luɔ̈ɔ̈i, kɔc ë Nhialic. Nhialic acï we cɔ̈ɔ̈l bei muɔ̈ɔ̈th yic ku bäkkë ɣɛrden dhëŋ apɛi yic. Rin bäk käkken puɔth ye ke looi lɛ̈k kɔc.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Wek aa we cie kɔc Nhialic, ku ëmën wek aa kacke. Wek aa we kuc ŋuɛ̈ɛ̈n ë Nhialic, ku ëmën wek aacï tɛ̈ ye Nhialic kɔc ŋuään thïn ŋic.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Mäthkiɛ̈, wek aa yɔ̈ɔ̈k puɔ̈u ëbën, wek kɔc pïr ke we cït jɔ̈ɔ̈l pinynhom ë tɛ̈n. Duɔ̈kkë wepuɔ̈th ë yiëk kärɛc ye guäpkun ke wïc, kärɛc thär kek wɛ̈ikun.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Piɛ̈ɛ̈rkë ë pïr path kam kɔc kuc Nhialic, ku na cɔkkë ya lueel lɔn ye wek luui kärɛc, ka bï käpuɔth yakë ke looi tïŋ bïk Nhialic leec aköl le yen bɛ̈n.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Rin bï wek kë cï Bɛ̈ny looi buɔɔth yic, thɛkkë bäny mɛc baai, bɛ̈nyŋaknhom yen dït,

14 ku bäny kɔ̈k cï ke luɔ̈ɔ̈i bïk kɔc kärɛc looi aa tëm awuɔ̈c, ku leckë kɔc käpath looi.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Rin Nhialic awïc we ku bäk kɔc we jääm gup rin kuc kek käŋ, cɔl aabit tɛ̈ tïŋ kek we ke we loi käpath.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Wek aacie aloony ë kɔc kɔ̈k. Ku duɔ̈kkë kënë cɔl akum kärɛc yakë ke looi kɔ̈th. Wek aa loony ë Nhialic luɔ̈ɔ̈i.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Thɛkkë raan ëbën, ku nhiarkë miɛ̈thakun cï gam. Thɛkkë Nhialic ku thɛkkë bɛ̈nyŋaknhom.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Kɔc luɔi aa dhil wɛ̈t ye bänyken lɛ̈k ke piŋ, ku thekkë ke apɛi. Luɔikë kënë tënë ke ëbën, bäny ŋic we ciëëŋ ku bäny kuc we ciëëŋ aya.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Na gum arɛɛm ke cie awuɔ̈cdun ca looi, ke yï ŋic Nhialic yïpuɔ̈u, ke yïn abï Nhialic dɔɔc.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Ye lɛc ŋö tɔ̈ thïn tɛ̈ bɛŋ yï ku gum arɛɛm rin awuɔ̈c ca looi? Ku na gum arɛɛm rin këpuɔth ca looi, ke yïn abï Nhialic dɔɔc.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Ee gum kënë yen ë cɔɔl Nhialic yï, rin Krïtho acï gum ë riɛnkun, ku nyuth we tɛ̈ bï wek guum thïn cïmënde, rin bï wek dhɔ̈lde buɔɔth yic.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Acïn awuɔ̈c cï kaŋ looi ku akëc lueth kaŋ lueel ë thuɔŋde.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Wäär ye kek ye läät, akëc bɛ̈n adhuk nhom ë wël rɛc. Ku wäär bɛŋ ye akëc kɔc bɛ̈n riääc lɔn bï yen këde guɔ̈ɔ̈r, acï rot bɛ̈n tääu ë Nhialic cin yen luk looi ë cök.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Krïtho acä awuɔ̈c jɔt, awuɔ̈c kärɛc cuk ke looi, wäär reem ye tim cï rïïu kɔ̈k, rin bï ɣok luɔi adumuɔ̈ɔ̈m puɔ̈l ku pïïrku ë pïr la cök. Ku tɛ̈töök juëc cï yiëk ye aacï we waar ë thou yic.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Wek aa we cït amɛ̈l cï dhël baai, ku ëmën wek aacï dhuɔ̈k ciëën, bäk raan diɛɛr ë we cïmën ye abiöök diɛɛr amälke buɔɔth, raan wɛ̈ikun tïït.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
