1 What then shall we say? ought we to continue in the sin, so that the favor may abound?
1 Que diremos pois? Permaneceremos no pecado, para que a graça abunde?
2 Not let it be. Who we died by the sin, how still shall we live in it?
2 De modo nenhum. Nós, que estamos mortos para o pecado, como viveremos ainda nele?
3 Or are you ignorant, that as many as were dipped into Anointed Jesus, into the death of him were dipped?
3 Ou não sabeis que todos quantos fomos batizados em Jesus Cristo fomos batizados na sua morte?
4 We were buried together therefore with him through the dipping into the death, that as was raised up Anointed out of dead ones through the glory of the Father, so also we in newness of life should walk.
4 De sorte que fomos sepultados com ele pelo batismo na morte; para que, como Cristo foi ressuscitado dentre os mortos, pela glória do Pai, assim andemos nós também em novidade de vida.
5 If for planted together we have become in the likeness of the death of him, certainly also of the resurrection we shall be;
5 Porque, se fomos plantados juntamente com ele na semelhança da sua morte, também o seremos na da sua ressurreição;
6 this knowing, that the old of us man was crucified with, that might be rendered powerless the body of the sin, of the no longer to be enslaved us in the sin;
6 Sabendo isto, que o nosso homem velho foi com ele crucificado, para que o corpo do pecado seja desfeito, para que não sirvamos mais ao pecado.
7 he for having died has been justified from the sin.
7 Porque aquele que está morto está justificado do pecado.
8 If but we died with Anointed, we believe, that also we shall live with him,
8 Ora, se já morremos com Cristo, cremos que também com ele viveremos;
9 knowing, that Anointed having been raised out of dead ones, no longer dies; death of him no longer lords over.
9 Sabendo que, tendo sido Cristo ressuscitado dentre os mortos, já não morre; a morte não mais tem domínio sobre ele.
10 Which for he died, by the sin he died once for all; which but he lives, he lives by the God.
10 Pois, quanto a ter morrido, de uma vez morreu para o pecado; mas, quanto a viver, vive para Deus.
11 So also you count yourselves dead ones indeed by the sin, living ones but by the God, in Anointed Jesus.
11 Assim também vós considerai-vos certamente mortos para o pecado, mas vivos para Deus em Cristo Jesus nosso Senhor.
12 Not therefore let reign the sin, in the mortal of you body, in order that to obey;
12 Não reine, portanto, o pecado em vosso corpo mortal, para lhe obedecerdes em suas concupiscências;
13 nor present you the members of you weapons of unrighteousness to the sin; but present you yourselves to the God, as out of dead ones living, and the members of you weapons of righteousness to the God.
13 Nem tampouco apresenteis os vossos membros ao pecado por instrumentos de iniqüidade; mas apresentai-vos a Deus, como vivos dentre mortos, e os vossos membros a Deus, como instrumentos de justiça.
14 Sin for to you not shall lord over; not for you are under law, but under favor.
14 Porque o pecado não terá domínio sobre vós, pois não estais debaixo da lei, mas debaixo da graça.
15 What then? shall we sin, because not we are under law, but under favor? Not let it be.
15 Pois que? Pecaremos porque não estamos debaixo da lei, mas debaixo da graça? De modo nenhum.
16 Not you know, that to whom you present yourselves slaves for obedience, slaves you are to whom you are obedient, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?
16 Não sabeis vós que a quem vos apresentardes por servos para lhe obedecer, sois servos daquele a quem obedeceis, ou do pecado para a morte, ou da obediência para a justiça?
17 Thanks but to the God, that you were slaves of the sin, you obeyed yet from heart into which you were delivered a form of teaching.
17 Mas graças a Deus que, tendo sido servos do pecado, obedecestes de coração à forma de doutrina a que fostes entregues.
18 Having been freed and from the sin, you were enslaved to the righteousness.
18 E, libertados do pecado, fostes feitos servos da justiça.
19 (According to man I speak, on account of the weakness of the flesh of you.) As for you presented the members of you slaves to the uncleanness and to the iniquity for the iniquity; so now present you in members of you slaves to the righteousness for sanctification.
19 Falo como homem, pela fraqueza da vossa carne; pois que, assim como apresentastes os vossos membros para servirem à imundícia, e à maldade para maldade, assim apresentai agora os vossos membros para servirem à justiça para santificação.
20 When for slaves you were of the sin, free you were to the righteousness.
20 Porque, quando éreis servos do pecado, estáveis livres da justiça.
21 What therefore fruit had you then? in the things now you are ashamed; the for end of those, death.
21 E que fruto tínheis então das coisas de que agora vos envergonhais? Porque o fim delas é a morte.
22 Now but having been freed from the sin, having been enslaved and to the God, you have the fruit of you in sanctification; the and end, life agelasting.
22 Mas agora, libertados do pecado, e feitos servos de Deus, tendes o vosso fruto para santificação, e por fim a vida eterna.
23 The for wages of the sin, death; the but gracious gift of the God, life agelasting in an Anointed Jesus the Lord of us.
23 Porque o salário do pecado é a morte, mas o dom gratuito de Deus é a vida eterna, por Cristo Jesus nosso Senhor.
