1 Like for is the kingdom of the heavens to a man a householder, who went out with morning to hire laborers into the vineyard of him.
1 “Pois o reino dos céus é como o dono de uma propriedade que saiu de manhã cedo a fim de contratar trabalhadores para seu vinhedo.
2 Having agreed and with the laborers for a denarius the day, he sent him into the vineyard of him.
2 Combinou de pagar uma moeda de prata por um dia de serviço e os mandou trabalhar.
3 And going out about third hour, he saw others standing in the marketplace idle;
3 “Às nove da manhã, estava passando pela praça e viu por ali alguns desocupados.
4 and to them he said: Go and you into the vineyard; and whatever may be just, I will give you. They and went away.
4 Contratou-os e disse-lhes que, no final do dia, pagaria o que fosse justo.
5 Again going out about sixth and ninth hour, he did in like manner.
5 E eles foram trabalhar no vinhedo. Ao meio-dia e às três da tarde, fez a mesma coisa.
6 About and the eleventh hour going out, he found others standing, and he says to them: Why here stood you all the day idle?
6 “Às cinco da tarde, estava outra vez na cidade e viu por ali mais algumas pessoas. ‘Por que vocês não trabalharam hoje?’, perguntou ele.
7 They say to him: Because no one us hired. He says to them: Go also you into the vineyard; and whatever maybe just, you shall receive.
7 “‘Porque ninguém nos contratou’, responderam. “Então o proprietário disse: ‘Vão e trabalhem com os outros no meu vinhedo’.
8 Evening and having come on, says the lord of the vineyard to the steward of him: Call the laborers, and give to them the hire, beginning from the last, till the first.
8 “Ao entardecer, mandou o capataz chamar os trabalhadores e pagá-los, começando pelos que haviam sido contratados por último.
9 And having come those about the eleventh hour, received each a denarius.
9 Os que foram contratados às cinco da tarde vieram e receberam uma moeda de prata.
10 Having then those first, supposed, that more they shall receive; and received also they each a denarius.
10 Quando chegaram os que foram contratados primeiro, imaginaram que receberiam mais. Contudo, também receberam uma moeda de prata.
11 Having received but they murmured against the householder,
11 Ao receber o pagamento, queixaram-se ao proprietário:
12 saying: That these the last one hour worked, and equal to us them thou hast made, to the having endured the burden of the day, and the burning heat.
12 ‘Aqueles trabalharam apenas uma hora e, no entanto, o senhor lhes pagou a mesma quantia que a nós, que trabalhamos o dia todo no calor intenso’.
13 He but answering said to one of them: Friend, not I wrong thee; not of a denarius didst thou agree to me?
13 “O proprietário respondeu a um deles: ‘Amigo, não fui injusto. Você não concordou em trabalhar o dia inteiro por uma moeda de prata?
14 Take thee thine and go, I wish and to this the last to give as also of thee.
14 Pegue seu dinheiro e vá. Eu quis pagar ao último trabalhador o mesmo que paguei a você.
15 Or not is it lawful to me to do what I will with the my own? or the eye of thee evil is, because I good am?
15 É contra a lei eu fazer o que quero com o meu dinheiro? Ou você está com inveja porque fui bondoso com os outros?’.
16 Thus shall be the last, first; and the first, last. Many for are called, few but chosen.
16 “Assim, os últimos serão os primeiros, e os primeiros serão os últimos”.
17 And going up the Jesus to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples privately in the way, and said to them:
17 Enquanto subia para Jerusalém, Jesus chamou os doze discípulos e lhes disse, em particular, o que aconteceria com ele:
18 Lo, we go up to Jerusalem, and the son of the man will be delivered up to the highpriests and scribes; and they will condemn him to death,
18 “Ouçam, estamos subindo para Jerusalém, onde o Filho do Homem será traído e entregue aos principais sacerdotes e aos mestres da lei. Eles o condenarão à morte
19 and they will deliver up him to the Gentiles for the to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify; and in the third day he will stand up.
19 e o entregarão aos gentios, para que zombem dele, o açoitem e o crucifiquem. No terceiro dia, porém, ele ressuscitará”.
20 Then came to him the mother of the sons of Zebedee, with the sons of her, prostrating, and asking something from him.
20 Então a mãe dos filhos de Zebedeu veio a Jesus com seus filhos. Ela se ajoelhou diante dele a fim de lhe pedir um favor.
21 He and said to her: What wilt thou? She says to him: Say that may sit these the two sons of me, one at right of thee, and one at left of thee, in the kingdom of thee.
21 “O que você quer?”, perguntou ele. Ela respondeu: “Por favor, permita que, no seu reino, meus dois filhos se sentem em lugares de honra ao seu lado, um à sua direita e outro à sua esquerda”.
22 Answering but the Jesus said: Not you know, what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup, which I am about to drink? They say to him: We are able.
22 Jesus respondeu: “Vocês não sabem o que estão pedindo! São capazes de beber do cálice que estou prestes a beber?”. “Somos!”, disseram eles.
23 And he says to them: The indeed cup of me you shall drink; the but to sit at right of me and at left of me, not is mine to give, but to whom it has been prepared by the Father of me.
23 Então Jesus disse: “De fato, vocês beberão do meu cálice. Não cabe a mim, no entanto, dizer quem se sentará à minha direita ou à minha esquerda. Meu Pai preparou esses lugares para aqueles que ele escolheu”.
24 And having heard the ten, were angry on account of the two brothers.
24 Quando os outros dez discípulos souberam o que os dois irmãos haviam pedido, ficaram indignados.
25 The but Jesus, having called them, said: You know, that the rulers of the nations domineer over them. Not thus great exercise authority over them.
25 Então Jesus os reuniu e disse: “Vocês sabem que os governantes deste mundo têm poder sobre o povo, e que os oficiais exercem sua autoridade sobre os súditos.
26 Not thus it shall be among you; but whoever may wish among you great to become, let him be of you servant;
26 Entre vocês, porém, será diferente. Quem quiser ser o líder entre vocês, que seja servo,
27 and whoever may wish among you to be first, let him be of you a slave;
27 e quem quiser ser o primeiro entre vocês, que se torne escravo.
28 even as the son of the man not came to be served but to serve, and to give the life of him a ransom for many.
28 Pois nem mesmo o Filho do Homem veio para ser servido, mas para servir e dar sua vida em resgate por muitos”.
29 And departing of them from Jericho, followed him a crowd great.
29 Quando Jesus e seus discípulos saíam de Jericó, uma grande multidão os seguiu.
30 And lo, two blind men, sitting by the way, hearing that Jesus passes by, cried out, saying: Pity us, O lord, son of David.
30 Dois cegos estavam sentados à beira do caminho e, quando souberam que Jesus vinha naquela direção, começaram a gritar: “Senhor, Filho de Davi, tenha misericórdia de nós!”.
31 The and crowd reproved them, that they might be silent. They but more did cry out, saying: Pity us, O lord, son of David.
31 “Calem-se!”, diziam aos brados os que estavam na multidão. Eles, porém, gritavam ainda mais alto: “Senhor, Filho de Davi, tenha misericórdia de nós!”.
32 And having stopped the Jesus he called them, and said: What do you wish I should do to you?
32 Ao ouvi-los, Jesus parou e perguntou: “O que vocês querem que eu lhes faça?”.
33 They say to him: O lord, that may be opened of us the eyes.
33 Eles responderam: “Senhor, nós queremos enxergar!”.
34 Being moved with pity and the Jesus, he touched the eyes of them; and immediately saw again of them the eyes; and they followed him.
34 Jesus teve compaixão deles e tocou-lhes nos olhos. No mesmo instante, passaram a enxergar e o seguiram.
