1 And he said to them: Indeed I say to you, that are some of those here having stood, who not not shall taste of death, till they may see the royal majesty of the God having come in power.
1 E ele disse-lhes: Na verdade eu vos digo, que alguns dos que aqui estão não provarão a morte até que vejam o reino de Deus vindo com poder.
2 And after days six takes the Jesus the Peter, and the James and John, and leads up them into a mountain high privately alone; and he was transfigured in the presence of them
2 E seis dias depois Jesus tomou consigo a Pedro, a Tiago, e a João, e os conduziu à parte a um alto monte; e transfigurou-se diante deles.
3 And the garments of him became glittering, white extremely as snow, such as a fuller upon the earth not is able to make white.
3 E as suas vestes tornaram-se resplandecentes, extremamente brancas como a neve, tais como nenhum lavadeiro sobre a terra as poderia branquear.
4 And appeared to them Elias with Moses; and were talking with the Jesus.
4 E ali apareceu-lhes Elias, com Moisés; e eles falavam com Jesus.
5 And answering the Peter says to the Jesus: Rabbi, good it is us here to be; and we may make tents three, to thee one, and Moses one, and Elias one.
5 E Pedro, respondendo, disse a Jesus: Mestre, é bom estarmos aqui; deixa-nos fazer aqui três tabernáculos, um para ti, um para Moisés, e um para Elias.
6 Not for he knew any thing he might say; there were for terrified.
6 Porque ele não sabia o que dizer, pois eles estavam grandemente atemorizados.
7 And there came a cloud overshadowing them; and came a voice out of the cloud: This is the son of me the beloved; him hear you.
7 E formou-se uma nuvem que os cobriu, e dela saiu uma voz que dizia: Este é o meu Filho amado; a ele ouvi.
8 And suddenly looking round, no longer no one they saw, but the Jesus alone with themselves.
8 E de repente, eles olhando ao redor, não viram mais nenhum homem, senão só a Jesus.
9 Coming down and of them from the mountain, he charged them, that to no one they should relate what they saw, except when the son of the man out of dead ones should be raised.
9 E, enquanto eles desciam do monte, ele ordenou-lhes que a nenhum homem contassem as coisas que tinham visto, até que o Filho do homem ressuscitasse dentre os mortos.
10 And the word they kept to themselves, arguing, what is that out of dead ones to be raised.
10 E eles guardaram o que foi dito entre si, perguntando uns aos outros o que significava ressuscitar dentre os mortos.
11 And they asked him, saying: That say the scribes, that Elias must to come first?
11 E eles o perguntam, dizendo: Por que dizem os escribas que Elias deveria vir primeiro?
12 He and answering said to them: Elias indeed coming first; restores all things, and how it is written about the son of the man, that many things he should suffer, and should be despised.
12 E, respondendo ele, disse-lhes: Na verdade Elias virá primeiro, e restaurará todas as coisas; e, como está escrito do Filho do homem, que ele deve sofrer muitas coisas, e ser reduzido a nada.
13 But I say to you, that both Elias has come, and they have done to him whatever they wished, even as it is written about him.
13 Mas eu vos digo que Elias já veio, e eles fizeram-lhe tudo o que quiseram, como está escrito sobre ele.
14 And coming to the disciples, he saw a crowd great about them, and scribes disputing with them.
14 E, ele aproximando-se dos seus discípulos, viu ao redor deles uma grande multidão, e os escribas interrogando a eles.
15 And immediately all the crowd, seeing him, were awestruck, and running to saluted him.
15 E imediatamente toda a multidão, vendo-o, ficou grandemente surpreendida, e, correndo para ele, o saudaram.
16 And he asked them: What dispute you wish with them?
16 E ele perguntou aos escribas: O que interrogas com eles?
17 And answering one out of the crowd said: O teacher, I brought the son of me to thee, having a spirit dumb.
17 E um da multidão, respondendo, disse: Mestre, trouxe-te o meu filho, que tem um espírito mudo;
18 And wherever him it may seize, it convulses him; and he foams, and grinds the teeth of him, and pines away. And I spoke to the disciples of thee, that it they might cast out, and not they had power.
18 e este, onde quer que o apanhe, derruba-o; e ele espuma, e range os dentes, e vai definhando; e eu disse aos teus discípulos que o expulsassem, mas eles não puderam.
19 He and answering to them says: O generation without faith, till when you shall I be? till when shall I bear you? Bring you him to me.
19 E ele, respondendo-lhes, disse: Ó geração sem fé! Até quando hei de estar convosco? Até quando vos suportarei? Trazei-o a mim!
20 And they brought him to him. And seeing him, immediately the spirit convulsed him; and falling upon the ground, he rolled, foaming.
20 E eles o trouxeram até ele; e vendo-o, o espírito imediatamente o convulsionou; e ele caiu no chão, e revolvia-se, espumando.
21 And he asked the father of him: How long a time is it, since this happened to him? He and said: From a child;
21 E perguntou ao seu pai: Há quanto tempo isto veio a ele? E ele disse: Desde criança.
22 and often him both into fire has cast and into waters, that it might destroy him; but if any thing thou canst do, give aid to us, having pity on us.
22 E muitas vezes isto o tem lançado no fogo, e dentro da água, para o destruir; mas, se tu podes fazer alguma coisa, tem compaixão de nós, e ajuda-nos.
23 The and Jesus said to him: That, if thou art able to believe; all things are possible to the believing.
23 E Jesus disse-lhe: Se tu podes crer, todas as coisas são possíveis ao que crê.
24 And immediately crying out the father of the child, with tears he said: I believe help thou of me the unbelief.
24 E imediatamente o pai do menino exclamou e disse em lágrimas: Senhor, eu creio! Ajude a minha incredulidade.
25 Seeing and the Jesus, that runs together a crowd, he rebuked the spirit the unclean, saying to it: The spirit the dumb and deaf, I to thee command; Come out of him, and no more enter into him.
25 Quando Jesus viu que as pessoas vinham correndo juntas, ele repreendeu o espírito imundo, dizendo-lhe: Tu, espírito mudo e surdo, eu te ordeno: sai dele, e não entres mais nele.
26 And crying out, and many times convulsing, it came out. And he became as dead, so that many to say, that he is dead.
26 E o espírito gritou, e agitando-o com violência, saiu dele; e ele estava como um morto, de modo que muitos diziam: Ele está morto.
27 The but Jesus taking him of the hand, raised up him; and he stood up.
27 Mas Jesus, tomando-o pela mão, o ergueu; e ele se levantou.
28 And having come him into a house, the disciples of him asked him privately: That we not were able to cast out it?
28 E, quando ele entrou em casa, os seus discípulos lhe perguntaram em particular: Por que nós não pudemos expulsá-lo?
29 And he said to them: This the kind by nothing is able to go out, if not in prayer and fasting.
29 E ele disse-lhes: Este tipo não sai de modo algum, senão pela oração e pelo jejum.
30 And thence departing, he passed through the Galilee; and not was willing, that any one should know.
30 E, tendo partido dali, passavam pela Galileia, e não queria que nenhum homem soubesse isto.
31 He taught for the disciples of himself, and said to them: That the son of the man is delivered up into hands of men, and they will kill him; and having been killed, the third day he will rise.
31 Pois ele ensinava aos seus discípulos, e lhes dizia: O Filho do homem será entregue nas mãos dos homens, e matá-lo-ão; e, após ser morto, ele será ressuscitado ao terceiro dia.
32 They but did not understand the word, and were afraid him to ask.
32 Mas eles não entenderam este discurso, e tinham medo de interrogá-lo.
33 And he came to Capernaum; and in the house being, he asked them: What in the way among yourselves were you disputing?
33 E ele chegou a Cafarnaum; e, estando na casa, perguntou-lhes: O que discutíeis entre vós pelo caminho?
34 but were silent; with one another for they had disputed on the way, who greater.
34 Mas eles calaram-se; porque pelo caminho haviam discutido entre si qual deles seria o maior.
35 And sitting down, he called the twelve, and says to them: If any one desires first to be, he will be of all last, and of all a servant.
35 E ele assentou-se, e chamando os doze, disse-lhes: Se algum homem deseja ser o primeiro, este será o último de todos, e o servo de todos.
36 And taking a little child, he placed it in midst of them, and embracing in his arms it, he said to them:
36 E ele tomou uma criança, e a colocou no meio deles; e, tomando-a nos seus braços, disse-lhes:
37 Whoever one of the such little children may receive in the name of me, me receives; and whoever me may receive, not me receives, but the having sent me.
37 Qualquer que receber uma destas crianças em meu nome, recebe a mim; e qualquer que me receber, não recebe a mim, mas àquele que me enviou.
38 Answered and to him John, saying: O teacher, I saw one to the name of thee casting out demons; and we forbade him, because not he follows us.
38 E João lhe respondeu, dizendo: Mestre, nós vimos um que expulsava demônios em teu nome, mas ele não nos segue; e nós o proibimos, porque ele não nos segue.
39 He but Jesus said: Not do you forbid him. No one for is, who will do a mighty work in the name of me, and will be able readily to speak evil of me.
39 Jesus, porém, disse: Não lho proibais; porque não há homem que faça milagre em meu nome, e possa logo falar mal de mim.
40 Who for not is against you, for you is.
40 Porque quem não é contra nós, é por nós.
41 Who for ever may give drink to you a cup of water, in name, because of Anointed you are, indeed I say to you, not not he may lose the reward of himself.
41 Porquanto, todo aquele que vos der de beber um copo de água em meu nome, porque sois de Cristo, na verdade eu vos digo que ele não perderá a sua recompensa.
42 And whoever may insnare one of the little ones, of the believing into me, good it is to him rather, if hangs a stone of a mill around the neck of him, and has been cast into the sea.
42 E qualquer que escandalizar um destes pequeninos que creem em mim, melhor lhe fora que se lhe pendurasse ao pescoço uma pedra de moinho, e que ele fosse lançado no mar.
43 And if may insnare thee the hand of thee, cut thou off her; good to thee it is crippled into the life to enter, than the two hands having to go into the Gehenna, into the fire the inextinguishable,
43 E, se a tua mão te ofender, corta-a; melhor é entrares na vida mutilado do que, tendo duas mãos, ires para o inferno, para o fogo que nunca se apaga;
44 where the worm of them not dies, and the fire not is quenched.
44 onde o seu verme não morre, e o fogo não se apaga.
45 And if the foot of thee may insnare thee, cut thou off him; good it is to thee to enter into the life lame, than the two feet having to be cast into the Gehenna, into the fire the inextinguishable,
45 E, se o teu pé te ofender, corta-o; melhor te é entrar na vida coxo do que, tendo dois pés, ires para o inferno, para o fogo que nunca se apaga;
46 where the worm of them not dies, and the fire not is quenched.
46 onde o seu verme não morre, e o fogo não se apaga.
47 And if the eye of thee may insnare thee, cast thou out him; good to thee it is oneeyed to enter into the kingdom of the God, than two eyes having to be cast into the Gehenna of the fire,
47 E, se o teu olho te ofender, arranca-o; melhor é entrares no reino de Deus com um só olho, do que, tendo dois olhos, seres lançado no fogo do inferno;
48 where the worm of them not dies, and the fire not is quenched.
48 onde o seu verme não morre, e o fogo não se apaga.
49 Every one for with fire shall be salted; and every sacrifice with salt shall be salted.
49 Porque cada um será salgado com fogo, e cada sacrifício será salgado com sal.
50 Good the salt; if but the salt without taste may become, with what it will you season? Have you in yourselves salt, and be you at peace with one another.
50 Sal é bom; mas, se o sal se tornar insípido, com que o temperareis? Tende sal em vós mesmos, e paz uns com os outros.
