1 When and he had ended all the words of him in the ears of the people, he entered into Capernaum.
1 Tendo Jesus concluído todas as suas palavras dirigidas ao povo, entrou em Cafarnaum.
2 Of a centurion and certain slave sick being, was about to die, who was to him valuable.
2 E o servo de um centurião, a quem este muito estimava, estava doente, quase à morte.
3 Having heard about the Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him, that coming he would save the slave of himself.
3 Tendo ouvido falar a respeito de Jesus, enviou-lhe alguns anciãos dos judeus, pedindo-lhe que viesse curar o seu servo.
4 They and having come to the Jesus, they besought him earnestly, saying: That worthy he is, for whom thou wilt confer this;
4 Estes, chegando-se a Jesus, com instância lhe suplicaram, dizendo: Ele é digno de que lhe faças isto;
5 he loves for the nation of us, and the synagogue he built for us.
5 porque é amigo do nosso povo, e ele mesmo nos edificou a sinagoga.
6 The and Jesus went with them. Already and of him not far being distant from the house, sent to him the centurion friends, saying to him: O sir, not be thou troubled; not for I am worthy, that under the roof of me thou shouldst enter;
6 Então, Jesus foi com eles. E, já perto da casa, o centurião enviou-lhe amigos para lhe dizer: Senhor, não te incomodes, porque não sou digno de que entres em minha casa.
7 therefore not even myself I deemed fit to thee to come; but speak a word, and will be healed the boy of me.
7 Por isso, eu mesmo não me julguei digno de ir ter contigo; porém manda com uma palavra, e o meu rapaz será curado.
8 Even for I am a man am under authority being set, having under myself soldiers; and I say to this: Go, and he goes; and to another: Come, and he comes; and to the slave of me: Do this, and he does.
8 Porque também eu sou homem sujeito à autoridade, e tenho soldados às minhas ordens, e digo a este: vai, e ele vai; e a outro: vem, e ele vem; e ao meu servo: faze isto, e ele o faz.
9 Hearing and these the Jesus, admired him; and turning, to the following him crowd he said: I say to you, not even in the Israel so great faith I have found.
9 Ouvidas estas palavras, admirou-se Jesus dele e, voltando-se para o povo que o acompanhava, disse: Afirmo-vos que nem mesmo em Israel achei fé como esta.
10 And having returned those having been sent into the house, they found the being sick slave being well.
10 E, voltando para casa os que foram enviados, encontraram curado o servo.
11 And it happened in the next, he was going to a city being called Nain; and were going with him the disciples of him many and a crowd great.
11 Em dia subsequente, dirigia-se Jesus a uma cidade chamada Naim, e iam com ele os seus discípulos e numerosa multidão.
12 As and he drew near to the gate of the city, and lo, was being carried out a dead man, a son only born to the mother of himself, and she a widow; and a crowd of the city great was with her.
12 Como se aproximasse da porta da cidade, eis que saía o enterro do filho único de uma viúva; e grande multidão da cidade ia com ela.
13 And seeing her the Lord, he had compassion of her, and said to her: Not weep.
13 Vendo-a, o Senhor se compadeceu dela e lhe disse: Não chores!
14 And coming up he touched the bier; and those and bearing stood still. And he said: O young man, to thee I say, rise.
14 Chegando-se, tocou o esquife e, parando os que o conduziam, disse: Jovem, eu te mando: levanta-te!
15 And sat up dead, and began to speak; and he gave him to the mother of him.
15 Sentou-se o que estivera morto e passou a falar; e Jesus o restituiu a sua mãe.
16 Seized and a fear all, and they glorified the God, saying: That a prophet great has risen among us, and that has visited the God the people of himself.
16 Todos ficaram possuídos de temor e glorificavam a Deus, dizendo: Grande profeta se levantou entre nós; e: Deus visitou o seu povo.
17 And went out the word this in whole the Judea concerning him, and in all the surrounding country.
17 Esta notícia a respeito dele divulgou-se por toda a Judeia e por toda a circunvizinhança.
18 And told John the disciple of him about all these.
18 Todas estas coisas foram referidas a João pelos seus discípulos. E João, chamando dois deles,
19 And having called two certain of the disciples of himself the John, sent to the Jesus, saying: Thou art the coming one, or another are we to look for?
19 enviou-os ao Senhor para perguntar: És tu aquele que estava para vir ou havemos de esperar outro?
20 Having come and to him the men they said: John the dipper has sent us to thee, saying: Thou art the coming one, or another are we to look for?
20 Quando os homens chegaram junto dele, disseram: João Batista enviou-nos para te perguntar: És tu aquele que estava para vir ou esperaremos outro?
21 In this and the hour he delivered many from diseases and plagues and spirits evil, and to blind ones many he gave the to see.
21 Naquela mesma hora, curou Jesus muitos de moléstias, e de flagelos, e de espíritos malignos; e deu vista a muitos cegos.
22 And answering the Jesus said to them: Going away relate to John what you have seen and heard; that blind ones see again, lame ones are walking about, lepers are cleansed, deaf ones are hearing, dead ones are raised up, poor ones are addressed with glad tidings;
22 Então, Jesus lhes respondeu: Ide e anunciai a João o que vistes e ouvistes: os cegos veem, os coxos andam, os leprosos são purificados, os surdos ouvem, os mortos são ressuscitados, e aos pobres, anuncia-se-lhes o evangelho.
23 and blessed is, whoever not may be stumbled in me.
23 E bem-aventurado é aquele que não achar em mim motivo de tropeço.
24 Having departed and the messengers of John, he began to say to the crowds concerning John: What have you come out into the desert to see? a reed by wind being shaken?
24 Tendo-se retirado os mensageiros, passou Jesus a dizer ao povo a respeito de João: Que saístes a ver no deserto? Um caniço agitado pelo vento?
25 But what have you come out to see? a man in soft garments having been clothed? Lo, those in clothing showy and in luxury living in the royal places are.
25 Que saístes a ver? Um homem vestido de roupas finas? Os que se vestem bem e vivem no luxo assistem nos palácios dos reis.
26 But what have you come out to see? a prophet? Yes I say to you, and much more of a prophet?
26 Sim, que saístes a ver? Um profeta? Sim, eu vos digo, e muito mais que profeta.
27 This is, concerning whom it is written: Lo, I send the messenger of me before face of thee, who shall prepare the way of thee in presence of thee.
27 Este é aquele de quem está escrito:
28 I say for to you; a greater among offspring of women prophet of John the dipper not is; the but less in the kingdom of the God, greater of him is.
28 E eu vos digo: entre os nascidos de mulher, ninguém é maior do que João; mas o menor no reino de Deus é maior do que ele.
29 And all the people having heard, and the taxgatherers, justified the God, having been dipped the dipping of John.
29 Todo o povo que o ouviu e até os publicanos reconheceram a justiça de Deus, tendo sido batizados com o batismo de João;
30 The but Pharisees and the lawyers the purpose of the God set aside for themselves, not having been dipped by him.
30 mas os fariseus e os intérpretes da Lei rejeitaram, quanto a si mesmos, o desígnio de Deus, não tendo sido batizados por ele.
31 To what then shall I compare the men of the generation this? and to what are they like?
31 A que, pois, compararei os homens da presente geração, e a que são eles semelhantes?
32 Like they are boys those in a market sitting, and calling to one another, and saying: We have played the flute for you and not you have danced; we have mourned for you, and not you have wept.
32 São semelhantes a meninos que, sentados na praça, gritam uns para os outros:
33 Has come for John the dipper, neither bread eating, nor wine drinking; and you say: A demon he has.
33 Pois veio João Batista, não comendo pão, nem bebendo vinho, e dizeis: Tem demônio!
34 Has come the son of the man, eating and drinking; and you say: Lo, a man glutton and winedrinker, a friend of taxgatherers and sinners.
34 Veio o Filho do Homem, comendo e bebendo, e dizeis: Eis aí um glutão e bebedor de vinho, amigo de publicanos e pecadores!
35 And is justified the wisdom by the children of herself all.
35 Mas a sabedoria é justificada por todos os seus filhos.
36 Asked and one him of the Pharisees, that he might eat with him; and entering into the house of the Pharisee, he reclined.
36 Convidou-o um dos fariseus para que fosse jantar com ele. Jesus, entrando na casa do fariseu, tomou lugar à mesa.
37 And lo, a woman in the city, who was a sinner, knowing that he reclines in the house of the Pharisee, having brought an alabaster box of balsam,
37 E eis que uma mulher da cidade, pecadora, sabendo que ele estava à mesa na casa do fariseu, levou um vaso de alabastro com unguento;
38 and standing behind at the feet of him, weeping, she began to wet the feet of him with the tears; and with the hairs of the head of herself wiped, and kissed the feet of him, and anointed with the balsam.
38 e, estando por detrás, aos seus pés, chorando, regava-os com suas lágrimas e os enxugava com os próprios cabelos; e beijava-lhe os pés e os ungia com o unguento.
39 Seeing but the Pharisee that having called him, spoke in himself, saying: This if he was a prophet, would know, who and what the woman, who touches him; that a sinner she is.
39 Ao ver isto, o fariseu que o convidara disse consigo mesmo: Se este fora profeta, bem saberia quem e qual é a mulher que lhe tocou, porque é pecadora.
40 And answering the Jesus said to him: Simon, I have to thee something to say. He and says: O teacher, say.
40 Dirigiu-se Jesus ao fariseu e lhe disse: Simão, uma coisa tenho a dizer-te. Ele respondeu: Dize-a, Mestre.
41 Two debtors were to a creditor certain; the one owed denarii five hundred, the and other fifty.
41 Certo credor tinha dois devedores: um lhe devia quinhentos denários, e o outro, cinquenta.
42 Not having and of them to pay, both he forgive. Which then of them, say more him will love?
42 Não tendo nenhum dos dois com que pagar, perdoou-lhes a ambos. Qual deles, portanto, o amará mais?
43 Answering and the Simon said: I suppose that to whom the more he forgave. He and said to him: Rightly thou hast judged.
43 Respondeu-lhe Simão: Suponho que aquele a quem mais perdoou. Replicou-lhe: Julgaste bem.
44 And turning to the woman, to the Simon he said: Seest thou this the woman? I came of thee into the house; water for the feet of me not thou gavest; she but with the tears she wet of me the feet, and with the hairs of herself was wiped.
44 E, voltando-se para a mulher, disse a Simão: Vês esta mulher? Entrei em tua casa, e não me deste água para os pés; esta, porém, regou os meus pés com lágrimas e os enxugou com os seus cabelos.
45 A kiss to me not thou gavest; she but from of her came in, not has ceased kissing for me the feet.
45 Não me deste ósculo; ela, entretanto, desde que entrei não cessa de me beijar os pés.
46 With oil the head of me not thou didst anoint; she but with balsam anointed the feet of me.
46 Não me ungiste a cabeça com óleo, mas esta, com bálsamo, ungiu os meus pés.
47 Therefore, I say to thee, have been forgiven the sins of her the many, for that she loved much; to whom but little is forgiven, little he loves.
47 Por isso, te digo: perdoados lhe são os seus muitos pecados, porque ela muito amou; mas aquele a quem pouco se perdoa, pouco ama.
48 He said and to her: Have been forgiven to thee the sins.
48 Então, disse à mulher: Perdoados são os teus pecados.
49 And began those reclining with to say in themselves: Who this is, who even sins forgives?
49 Os que estavam com ele à mesa começaram a dizer entre si: Quem é este que até perdoa pecados?
50 He said and to the woman: The faith of thee has saved thee; go in peace.
50 Mas Jesus disse à mulher: A tua fé te salvou; vai-te em paz.
