1 And in the to be fully come the day of the Pentecost, were all with one mind in the same.
1 Quando chegou o dia de Pentecostes , todos os seguidores de Jesus estavam reunidos no mesmo lugar.
2 And were suddenly from the heaven a sound as of a rushing wind violent, and it filled whole the house, were they were sitting;
2 De repente, veio do céu um barulho que parecia o de um vento soprando muito forte e esse barulho encheu toda a casa onde estavam sentados.
3 and they saw with them being divided tongues like fire; sat and on one each one of them,
3 Então todos viram umas coisas parecidas com chamas, que se espalharam como línguas de fogo; e cada pessoa foi tocada por uma dessas línguas.
4 and they were filled all spirit holy, and they began to speak with other tongues, as the spirit gave to them to speak.
4 Todos ficaram cheios do Espírito Santo e começaram a falar em outras línguas, de acordo com o poder que o Espírito dava a cada pessoa.
5 Were now in Jerusalem dwelling Jews, men pious, from every nation of those under the heaven.
5 Estavam morando ali em Jerusalém judeus religiosos vindos de todas as nações do mundo.
6 Having happened and the sound this, came together the multitude, and were perplexed; because heard one each in the own language speaking of them.
6 Quando ouviram aquele barulho, uma multidão deles se ajuntou, e todos ficaram muito admirados porque cada um podia entender na sua própria língua o que os seguidores de Jesus estavam dizendo.
7 Were astonished and all and wondered, saying to each other: Not lo all these are who are speaking Galileans?
7 A multidão ficou admirada e espantada e comentava: — Estas pessoas que estão falando assim são da Galileia!
8 And how we hear each one in the own language of us, in which we were born,
8 Como é que cada um de nós as ouvimos falar na nossa própria língua?
9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, and those dwelling the Mesopotamia, Judea both and Cappadocia, Pontus and the Asia,
9 Nós somos da Pártia, da Média, do Elão, da Mesopotâmia, da Judeia, da Capadócia, do Ponto, da província da Ásia,
10 Phrygia both and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of the Lybia that upon Cyrene, and those sojourning Romans, Jews both and proselytes,
10 da Frígia, da Panfília, do Egito e das regiões da Líbia que ficam perto de Cirene. Alguns de nós são de Roma.
11 Cretans and Arabians, we hear speaking them in the our tongues the great things of the God?
11 Uns são judeus, e outros, convertidos ao Judaísmo. Alguns são de Creta, e outros, da Arábia. E como é que todos estamos ouvindo essa gente falar em nossa própria língua a respeito das grandes coisas que Deus tem feito?
12 Were astonished and all and perplexed, one to another saying: What will this to be?
12 Todos estavam admirados, sem saberem o que pensar, e perguntavam uns aos outros: — O que será que isso quer dizer?
13 Others but deriding said: That sweet wine having been filled they are.
13 Mas outros zombavam, dizendo: — Esse pessoal está bêbado!
14 Standing up but Peter with the eleven, lifted up the voice of himself, and said to them: Men Jews, and those dwelling in Jerusalem all, this to you known let be, and listen you the words of me.
14 Então Pedro se levantou, junto com os outros onze apóstolos , e em voz bem alta começou a dizer à multidão: — Meus amigos judeus e todos vocês que moram em Jerusalém, prestem atenção e escutem o que eu vou dizer!
15 Not for, as you suppose, these are drunk; it is for hour third of the day;
15 Estas pessoas não estão bêbadas, como vocês estão pensando, pois são apenas nove horas da manhã.
16 but this is that having been spoken through the prophet Joel:
16 O que, de fato, está acontecendo é o que o profeta Joel disse:
17 And it shall be in the last the days, say the God, I will pour out from of the spirit of me upon all flesh; and shall prophesy the sons of you and the daughters of you, and the young men of you visions shall see, and the old men of you dreams shall dream;
17 “É isto o que eu vou fazer nos últimos dias — diz Deus: Derramarei o meu Espírito sobre todas as pessoas. Os filhos e as filhas de vocês anunciarão a minha mensagem; os moços terão visões, e os velhos sonharão .
18 and even on the maleslaves of me and on the femaleslaves of me in the days those I will pour out from of the spirit of me, and they shall prophesy.
18 Sim, eu derramarei o meu Espírito sobre os meus e naqueles dias eles também anunciarão a minha mensagem.
19 And I will give prodigies in the heaven above, and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and a cloud of smoke;
19 Em cima, no céu, farei com que apareçam coisas espantosas; e embaixo, na terra, farei milagres. Haverá sangue, e fogo, e nuvens de fumaça;
20 the sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, sooner than to come the day of Lord the great and illustrations.
20 o sol ficará escuro, e a lua se tornará cor de sangue, antes que chegue o grande e Dia do Senhor.
21 And it shall be, every one who may call upon the name of Lord, shall be saved.
21 Então todos os que pedirem a ajuda do Senhor serão salvos.”
22 Men Israelites, hear you the words these: Jesus the Nazarene, a man from the God having been pointed out to you by mighty works and prodigies and signs, (which did through him the God in midst of you, as also yourselves you know,)
22 Pedro continuou: — Homens de Israel, escutem o que eu vou dizer. Deus mostrou a vocês que Jesus de Nazaré era um homem aprovado por ele. Pois, por meio de Jesus, Deus fez milagres, maravilhas e coisas extraordinárias no meio de vocês, como vocês sabem muito bem.
23 this by the having been fixed purpose and foreknowledge of the God given up having been taken, by hands of lawless ones having affixed to you killed.
23 Deus, por sua própria vontade e sabedoria, já havia resolvido que Jesus seria entregue nas mãos de vocês. E vocês mesmos o mataram por mãos de homens maus, que o crucificaram.
24 Whom the God raised up; having loosed the pains of the death, in as much as not was possible to be held him under it.
24 Mas Deus ressuscitou Jesus, livrando-o do poder da morte, porque não era possível que a morte o dominasse.
25 David for says concerning him: I saw the Lord in presence of me always, because at right hand of he is, so that not I may be shaken.
25 Pois Davi disse a respeito de Jesus o seguinte: “Eu via sempre o Senhor comigo porque ele está ao meu lado direito, para que nada me deixe abalado.
26 Through this rejoiced the heart of me, and exulted the tongue of me; moreover and also the flesh of me will repose in hope;
26 Por isso o meu coração está feliz, e as minhas palavras são palavras de alegria; e eu, um ser mortal, vou descansar cheio de esperança,
27 because not thou will abandon the life of me to invisibility, nor thou wilt abandon the holy one of thee to see corruption.
27 pois tu, Senhor, não me abandonarás no Eu tenho te servido fielmente, e por isso não deixarás que eu apodreça na sepultura.
28 Thou didst make known to me ways of life; thou will fill me of joy with the face of thee.
28 Tu me tens ensinado os caminhos que levam à vida, e a tua presença me encherá de alegria.”
29 Men brethren, it is lawful to speak with freedom to you concerning the patriarch David, that both he died and was buried, and the tomb of him is among us till of the day this.
29 E Pedro disse mais isto: — Meus irmãos, eu preciso falar claramente com vocês a respeito do
30 A prophet there being, and knowing that with an oath swore to him the God, out of fruit of the loins of him to cause to sit on the throne of him,
30 Ele era profeta e sabia que Deus lhe havia jurado que um dos seus descendentes seria rei, como ele.
31 foreseeing he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Anointed, that not he was abandoned into invisibility, nor the flesh of him saw corruption.
31 Davi sabia o que Deus ia fazer e por isso falou a respeito da ressurreição do Messias . Davi disse: “Ele não foi abandonado no mundo dos mortos, nem o seu corpo apodreceu na sepultura.”
32 This the Jesus raised up the God, of which all we are witnesses.
32 Deus ressuscitou este Jesus, e todos nós somos testemunhas disso.
33 To the right hand therefore of the God having been exalted, the and promise of the holy spirit having received from the Father, he poured out this, which you see and hear.
33 Pois Jesus foi levado para sentar-se ao lado direito de Deus, o seu Pai, o qual lhe deu o Espírito Santo, como havia prometido. E Jesus derramou sobre nós esse Espírito, conforme vocês estão vendo e ouvindo agora.
34 Not for David ascended into the heavens; he says but himself: Said the Lord to the lord of me: Sit thou at right hand of me,
34 Pois Davi não subiu para o céu, mas ele mesmo afirmou: “O Senhor Deus disse ao meu Senhor: ‘Sente-se do meu lado direito,
35 till I may place the enemies of thee a footstool for the feet of thee.
35 até que eu ponha os seus inimigos como estrado debaixo dos seus pés.’ ”
36 Certainly therefore let know all house of Israel, that both Lord him and Anointed the God made, this the Jesus, whom you crucified.
36 Todo o povo de Israel deve ficar bem certo de que este Jesus que vocês crucificaram é aquele que Deus tornou Senhor e Messias.
37 Having heard and they were pierced to the heart, said and to the Peter and the other apostles: What shall we do, men brethren?
37 Quando ouviram isso, todos ficaram muito aflitos e perguntaram a Pedro e aos outros apóstolos: — Irmãos, o que devemos fazer?
38 Peter and said to them: Reform you, and be dipped each one of you in the name of Jesus Anointed, for forgiveness of sins, and you shall receive the gifts of the holy spirit.
38 Pedro respondeu: — Arrependam-se, e cada um de vocês seja batizado em nome de Jesus Cristo para que os seus pecados sejam perdoados, e vocês receberão de Deus o Espírito Santo.
39 To you for is the promise and to the children of you, and to all those at a distance as many as may call Lord the God of us.
39 Pois essa promessa é para vocês, para os seus filhos e para todos os que estão longe, isto é, para todos aqueles que o Senhor, nosso Deus, chamar .
40 Other and words with many he testified, and exhorted, saying: Be saved from the generation of the perverse this.
40 Pedro continuou a dar o seu testemunho e, com muitas outras explicações, procurou convencê-los, dizendo: — Saiam do meio dessa gente má e salvem-se!
41 They indeed therefore gladly having received the word of him, were dipped; and were added the day that souls about three thousand.
41 Muitos acreditaram na mensagem de Pedro e foram batizados. Naquele dia quase três mil se juntaram ao grupo dos seguidores de Jesus.
42 Were and constantly attending to the teachings of the apostles, and to the distribution, and to the breaking of the loaf, and to the prayers.
42 E todos continuavam firmes, seguindo os ensinamentos dos apóstolos, vivendo em amor cristão, partindo o pão juntos e fazendo orações.
43 Came and to every soul fear, many and prodigies and signs through the apostles were done.
43 Os apóstolos faziam muitos milagres e maravilhas, e por isso todas as pessoas estavam cheias de temor .
44 All and those believing were in the same, and had all things common,
44 Todos os que criam estavam juntos e unidos e repartiam uns com os outros o que tinham.
45 and the possessions and the goods they were selling; and they were dividing them to all, as any one need had.
45 Vendiam as suas propriedades e outras coisas e dividiam o dinheiro com todos, de acordo com a necessidade de cada um.
46 Every day and constantly attending with one mind in the temple, breaking and at home bread, they were partaking of food in gladness and singleness of heart,
46 Todos os dias, unidos, se reuniam no pátio do Templo. E nas suas casas partiam o pão e participavam das refeições com alegria e humildade.
47 praising the God, and having favor with whole the people. The and Lord was adding those being saved everyday to the congregation.
47 Louvavam a Deus por tudo e eram estimados por todos. E cada dia o Senhor juntava ao grupo as pessoas que iam sendo salvas.
