1 And a sign great was seen in the heaven; a woman having been clothed with the sun, and the moon underneath the feet of her, on the head of her a crown of stars twelve,
1 Viu-se grande sinal no céu, a saber, uma mulher vestida do sol com a lua debaixo dos pés e uma coroa de doze estrelas na cabeça,
2 and in womb having she cries out travailing and being pained to bring forth.
2 que, achando-se grávida, grita com as dores de parto, sofrendo tormentos para dar à luz.
3 And was seen another sign in the heaven, and lo a dragon great fieryred, having heads seven and horns ten, and on the heads of him seven diadems;
3 Viu-se, também, outro sinal no céu, e eis um dragão, grande, vermelho, com sete cabeças, dez chifres e, nas cabeças, sete diademas.
4 and the tail of him draws the third of the stars of the heaven, and cast them into the earth. And the dragon stood in presence of the woman of that being about to bring forth, so that when she might bring forth, the child of her he might eat up.
4 A sua cauda arrastava a terça parte das estrelas do céu, as quais lançou para a terra; e o dragão se deteve em frente da mulher que estava para dar à luz, a fim de lhe devorar o filho quando nascesse.
5 And she brought forth, a son a male, who is about to rule all the nations with a rod made of iron; and was snatched away the child of her to the God and to the throne of him.
5 Nasceu-lhe, pois, um filho varão, que há de reger todas as nações com cetro de ferro. E o seu filho foi arrebatado para Deus até ao seu trono.
6 And the woman fled into the desert, where she was there a place having been prepared by the God, so that there they might nourish her days a thousand two hundred sixty.
6 A mulher, porém, fugiu para o deserto, onde lhe havia Deus preparado lugar para que nele a sustentem durante mil duzentos e sessenta dias.
7 And was a war in the heaven; the Michael and the messengers of him of the to have fought with the dragon, and the dragon fought and the messengers of him,
7 Houve peleja no céu. Miguel e os seus anjos pelejaram contra o dragão. Também pelejaram o dragão e seus anjos;
8 and not were strong, neither a place was found of them longer in the heaven.
8 todavia, não prevaleceram; nem mais se achou no céu o lugar deles.
9 And was cast the dragon the great, the serpent the old, the one being called accuser, and the adversary, the one deceiving the inhabitable whole, was cast into the earth, and the messengers of him with him were cast.
9 E foi expulso o grande dragão, a antiga serpente, que se chama diabo e Satanás, o sedutor de todo o mundo, sim, foi atirado para a terra, e, com ele, os seus anjos.
10 And I heard a voice great in the heaven, saying: Now came the salvation and the power and the kingdom of the God of us, and the authority of the Anointed of him; because was cast down the accuser of the brethren of us, the one accusing them in presence of the God of us day and night;
10 Então, ouvi grande voz do céu, proclamando: Agora, veio a salvação, o poder, o reino do nosso Deus e a autoridade do seu Cristo, pois foi expulso o acusador de nossos irmãos, o mesmo que os acusa de dia e de noite, diante do nosso Deus.
11 and they overcame him through the blood of the lamb, and through the word of the testimony of themselves; and not they loved the life of themselves till death.
11 Eles, pois, o venceram por causa do sangue do Cordeiro e por causa da palavra do testemunho que deram e, mesmo em face da morte, não amaram a própria vida.
12 Because of this rejoice you the heavens and those in them tabernacling: Woe to the earth and to the sea, because went down the accuser to you, having wrath great, knowing, that a little season he has.
12 Por isso, festejai, ó céus, e vós, os que neles habitais. Ai da terra e do mar, pois o diabo desceu até vós, cheio de grande cólera, sabendo que pouco tempo lhe resta.
13 And when saw the dragon, that he was cast into the earth, he pursued the woman who brought forth the male.
13 Quando, pois, o dragão se viu atirado para a terra, perseguiu a mulher que dera à luz o filho varão;
14 And were given to the woman two wings of the eagle the great, so that she might fly into the desert into the place of herself, where she is nourished there a season and seasons and half of a season, from face of the serpent.
14 e foram dadas à mulher as duas asas da grande águia, para que voasse até ao deserto, ao seu lugar, aí onde é sustentada durante um tempo, tempos e metade de um tempo, fora da vista da serpente.
15 And cast the serpent out of the mouth of herself after the woman water as a river, so that her borne a long by a river he might cause.
15 Então, a serpente arrojou da sua boca, atrás da mulher, água como um rio, a fim de fazer com que ela fosse arrebatada pelo rio.
16 And helped the earth the woman, and opened the earth the mouth of herself, and drank up the river, which cast the dragon out of the mouth of himself.
16 A terra, porém, socorreu a mulher; e a terra abriu a boca e engoliu o rio que o dragão tinha arrojado de sua boca.
17 And was enraged the dragon against the woman, and went away to make war with the remaining ones of the seed of her, of those keeping the commandments of the God, and having the testimony of Jesus.
17 Irou-se o dragão contra a mulher e foi pelejar com os restantes da sua descendência, os que guardam os mandamentos de Deus e têm o testemunho de Jesus; e se pôs em pé sobre a areia do mar.
