1 I wish you would bear with me a little in the foolishness; but even you do bear with me.
1 Quisera eu me suportásseis um pouco mais na minha loucura. Suportai-me, pois.
2 I am zealous for you of God with a zeal; I espoused for you to one husband, a virgin pure to present to the Anointed;
2 Porque zelo por vós com zelo de Deus; visto que vos tenho preparado para vos apresentar como virgem pura a um só esposo, que é Cristo.
3 I fear but, lest as the serpent Eve deceived by the craft of himself, so should be corrupted the minds of you from the simplicity of that into the Anointed.
3 Mas receio que, assim como a serpente enganou a Eva com a sua astúcia, assim também seja corrompida a vossa mente e se aparte da simplicidade e pureza devidas a Cristo.
4 If indeed for the one coming another Jesus proclaims whom not we proclaimed, or spirit another you receive which not you received, or glad tidings other which not you embraced, well you might bear.
4 Se, na verdade, vindo alguém, prega outro Jesus que não temos pregado, ou se aceitais espírito diferente que não tendes recebido, ou evangelho diferente que não tendes abraçado, a esse, de boa mente, o tolerais.
5 I reckon for nothing to have been behind those in the highest degree apostles.
5 Porque suponho em nada ter sido inferior a esses tais apóstolos.
6 If but even a simple person in the word, yet not in the knowledge; but in every thing having been manifested in all things among you.
6 E, embora seja falto no falar, não o sou no conhecimento; mas, em tudo e por todos os modos, vos temos feito conhecer isto.
7 Or sin did I commit, myself humbling, so that you might be exalted? because freely the of the God glad tidings I announced to you?
7 Cometi eu, porventura, algum pecado pelo fato de viver humildemente, para que fôsseis vós exaltados, visto que gratuitamente vos anunciei o evangelho de Deus?
8 Other congregations I robbed, having taken wages for the of you service; and being present with you and having been in want, not did I lazily burden any one;
8 Despojei outras igrejas, recebendo salário, para vos poder servir,
9 (the for want of me supplied before the brethren having come from Macedonia;) and in every thing unburdensome to you myself I kept, and I will keep.
9 e, estando entre vós, ao passar privações, não me fiz pesado a ninguém; pois os irmãos, quando vieram da Macedônia, supriram o que me faltava; e, em tudo, me guardei e me guardarei de vos ser pesado.
10 It is a truth of Anointed in me, that the boasting this not shall be stopped concerning me in the regions of the Achaia.
10 A verdade de Cristo está em mim; por isso, não me será tirada esta glória nas regiões da Acaia.
11 Why? because not I love you? The God knows.
11 Por que razão? É porque não vos amo? Deus o sabe.
12 What but I do, even I will do, so that I may cut off the opportunity of those wishing an opportunity, so that in what they boast, they may be found as even we.
12 Mas o que faço e farei é para cortar ocasião àqueles que a buscam com o intuito de serem considerados iguais a nós, naquilo em que se gloriam.
13 The for such ones false apostles workers deceitful, transforming themselves into apostles of Anointed.
13 Porque os tais são falsos apóstolos, obreiros fraudulentos, transformando-se em apóstolos de Cristo.
14 And not it is wonderful; himself for the adversary is transformed into a messenger of light;
14 E não é de admirar, porque o próprio Satanás se transforma em anjo de luz.
15 not great therefore, if also the servants of him are transformed as servants of righteousness; of whom the end shall be according to the works of him.
15 Não é muito, pois, que os seus próprios ministros se transformem em ministros de justiça; e o fim deles será conforme as suas obras.
16 Again i say, not any one me should think unwise to be; if but otherwise, even as unwise do you receive me, so that even I a little somewhat may boast.
16 Outra vez digo: ninguém me considere insensato; todavia, se o pensais, recebei-me como insensato, para que também me glorie um pouco.
17 What I speak, not I speak according to Lord, but as in foolishness, in this the confidence of the boasting.
17 O que falo, não o falo segundo o Senhor, e sim como por loucura, nesta confiança de gloriar-me.
18 Since many boast according to the flesh, also I will boast.
18 E, posto que muitos se gloriam segundo a carne, também eu me gloriarei.
19 Willingly for you bear with the unwise, wise ones being;
19 Porque, sendo vós sensatos, de boa mente tolerais os insensatos.
20 you bear for, if any one you enslaves, if any one eats you up, if any one takes you, if any one raises himself up, if any one you on face beats.
20 Tolerais quem vos escravize, quem vos devore, quem vos detenha, quem se exalte, quem vos esbofeteie no rosto.
21 According to dishonor I speak, as that we were weak; in what but any one may be bold, (in foolishness I speak,) bold also I.
21 Ingloriamente o confesso, como se fôramos fracos. Mas, naquilo em que qualquer tem ousadia (com insensatez o afirmo), também eu a tenho.
22 Hebrews are they? also I; Israelites are they? also I; seed of Abraham are they? also I;
22 São hebreus? Também eu. São israelitas? Também eu. São da descendência de Abraão? Também eu.
23 servants of Anointed are they? (being a very fool I speak,) above I; in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often;
23 São ministros de Cristo? (Falo como fora de mim.) Eu ainda mais: em trabalhos, muito mais; muito mais em prisões; em açoites, sem medida; em perigos de morte, muitas vezes.
24 (by Jews five times forty except one I received,
24 Cinco vezes recebi dos judeus uma quarentena de açoites menos um;
25 thrice I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, thrice I was shipwrecked, a night and day in the deep I have passed;)
25 fui três vezes fustigado com varas; uma vez, apedrejado; em naufrágio, três vezes; uma noite e um dia passei na voragem do mar;
26 in journeys often; in dangers of rivers, in dangers of robbers, in dangers from kindred, in dangers from Gentiles, in dangers in city, in dangers in desert, in dangers at sea, in dangers among false brethren;
26 em jornadas, muitas vezes; em perigos de rios, em perigos de salteadores, em perigos entre patrícios, em perigos entre gentios, em perigos na cidade, em perigos no deserto, em perigos no mar, em perigos entre falsos irmãos;
27 in labor and toil, in watchings often in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
27 em trabalhos e fadigas, em vigílias, muitas vezes; em fome e sede, em jejuns, muitas vezes; em frio e nudez.
28 Besides the outward things, the crowding of me that every day, the care of all of the congregations.
28 Além das coisas exteriores, há o que pesa sobre mim diariamente, a preocupação com todas as igrejas.
29 Who is weak, and not I am weak? who is made to stumble, and not I burn?
29 Quem enfraquece, que também eu não enfraqueça? Quem se escandaliza, que eu não me inflame?
30 If to boast is necessary, the things of the weakness of me I will boast.
30 Se tenho de gloriar-me, gloriar-me-ei no que diz respeito à minha fraqueza.
31 The God and Father of the Lord of us Jesus Anointed knows, he being blessed for the ages, that not I utter falsehood;
31 O Deus e Pai do Senhor Jesus, que é eternamente bendito, sabe que não minto.
32 in Damascus the ethnarch Aretas of the king guarded the Damascenes city, to seize me wishing;
32 Em Damasco, o governador preposto do rei Aretas montou guarda na cidade dos damascenos, para me prender;
33 and through an opening in a rope basket I was lowered through the wall, and escaped the hands of him.
33 mas, num grande cesto, me desceram por uma janela da muralha abaixo, e assim me livrei das suas mãos.
