2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,

3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.

5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Qui² to̱o̱²³ ji³ je² ca²³jua'³ Dios:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Móo³ra'³ 'nee'²³ 'i³ sɨ³táan³ 'e³ bi²³ quí̱i̱n²³ cú̱u̱² jo̱³. 'E³ quie'²³ jmoo³² dsa³ 'i³ 'a²³jia'³ sɨ³táan³ 'e³ la²³ to̱o̱²³ ji³ júu² quiee'³² Dios:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Co̱'³ cɨ'³ xa³ je² tó̱o̱²³ je² 'en³² 'ñée²:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Rɨ³løn³¹na'³ dsa³ 'i³ ca²³'náan²³ Dios. Rɨ³løn³¹na'³ 'é̱e̱² jmii³ dsa³ 'i³ ca²³dxin³ 'ñée² 'i³ rɨ³løn³¹ Rey. Rɨ³løn³¹na'³ co̱o̱³ ta'n² dsa³ 'i³ rɨ³jɨ́n². Rɨ³løn³¹na'³ dsa³ quien³² 'ñée² Dios. 'E³ jo̱³ 'ne'² rɨ²jmee'n²³na'³ júu² 'e³ jmii'³¹ 'nɨɨ'n³¹ gáan³ la²³jɨ³ 'e³ jmee²³ 'ñée² 'i³ ca²³'náan²³ 'nee'²³. Qui² ca²³'náan²³ 'nee'²³ 'e³ jua'³ 'née²³ 'e³ 'a²³jia'³ ma²³ rɨ²ñí²ra'³ je² li³'o̱o̱³, 'e³ quie'²³ rɨ²ñí²ra'³ je² cuø²³ jmɨ́ɨ²³ 'e³ bi²³ rɨ³jii'³¹.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 La²³ca̱a̱n³ mɨ³xa³ 'a²³jia'³ rɨ³løn³¹na'³ co̱o̱³ ta'n² dsa³. 'E³ quie'²³ rɨ³nɨ²³ mɨ³lǿn²³na'³ co̱o̱³ ta'n² dsa³ quien³² Dios. La²³ca̱a̱n³ mɨ²jo̱³ 'a²³jia'³ ca²³jmée³ Dios 'e³ bi²³ juɨɨ³² 'nee'²³. 'E³ quie'²³ rɨ³nɨ²³ jmee²³ Dios 'e³ bi²³ juɨɨ³² 'nee'²³.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Jné² rɨ²juøøn³¹na¹ 'nee'²³ 'i³ bi²³ 'náan²³na²³: Rɨ³løn³¹na'³ dsa³ 'i³ xen³ jia'³ cɨ'²³ 'i³ ca²³ta'n²³ la²³ca̱a̱n³ juɨɨ³ quiee'³² jia'³ cɨ'²³ dsa³. 'E³ jo̱³ rɨ²jmée²ra'³ co̱o̱³ mɨ²'áa² 'e³ 'a²³jia'³ rɨ²jmée²ra'³ 'e³ la²³ ŋɨɨ²³ jmɨ² ŋú²ra'³. Qui² nɨ́ɨn³ quia̱'² 'óo²ra'³ la²³jɨ³ 'e³ lø³² la'³.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Rɨ²jmée²ra'³ 'e³ la²³ dxi³ji̱i̱n³¹ jee²³² quiee'³² te'²³ dsa³ jia'³. Bi²³ 'ñe'² lʉ²³te'²³ 'en³²te'²³ 'nee'²³. Jua'³te'²³ 'e³ 'a²³jia'³ dxʉ́²³ jmee³ra'³. 'E³ quie'²³ cu²jóo¹te'²³ 'e³ jmee³ra'³ 'e³ dxʉ́²³ xi³nu³ la'³ jmee³ra'³. Jo̱³ hua² rɨ²³mi²³gáan³te'²³ Dios mɨ³rɨ³ti³ 'e³ rɨ²³jmée²³ 'i'²³ 'ñée² xi² xa³ dsoo² quiee'³² dsa³.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.

15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Rɨ²jmée²ra'³ 'e³ la²³ dxi³ji̱i̱n³¹ rɨ²³jmóo² dsa³ 'i³ 'a²³'i̱³ xen³ té̱e̱³ quie'², 'i³ 'a²³la³ 'í³ mozos. 'E³ quie'²³ 'a²³jia'³ joo'²³ 'e³ rɨ²juo'²ra'³ 'e³ jo̱³ xa³ ca³dsaan³² 'e³ rɨ²jmée²ra'³ 'e³ 'a²³jia'³ dxʉ́²³. Qui² 'a²³'i̱³ xen³ 'i³ té̱e̱³ quién²na'³. Rɨ²jmée²ra'³ 'e³ la²³ dxi³ji̱i̱n³¹ rɨ²³jmóo² 'i³ rɨ³løn³¹ mozos quien³² Dios.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 'Ne'² rɨ²'óo²ra'³ u²³go³ u²³'iʉʉ²³ quia̱'n²na'³ la²³jɨn³ dsa³. 'Ne'² li²³'náan²³na'³ te'²³ jó̱o̱²ra². 'Ne'² li²³'ñaa'n²³na'³ Dios. 'Ne'² rɨ²'óo²ra'³ u²³go³ u²³'iʉʉ²³ quia̱'n²na'³ dxi² juɨɨ³ gáan³.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Jné² rɨ²juøøn³¹na¹ 'nee'²³, te'²³ 'i³ rɨ³løn³¹ mozos: Rɨ²jmée²ra'³ 'e³ la²³ jua'³ juii³ra'³. Rɨ²'óo²ra'³ u²³go³ u²³'iʉʉ²³ quia̱'n²na'³. 'A²³la³ 'nɨɨ'n³¹ juii³ra'³ 'i³ dxún²³, 'i³ 'uǿn², 'i³ rɨ²jmee'³¹ra'³ la'³. 'E³ quie'²³ la'³ rɨ²jmee'³¹ra'³ juii³ra'³ 'i³ jmoo³² la³jmøn³¹.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Qui² 'née²³ Dios xi³nu³ rɨ²³táa²³ dsa³ 'e³ la²³ cuøø²³te'²³ u²³ŋɨ́³ dsɨ́ɨ², juø'n³ quie'²³ 'a²³jia'³ 'e̱'n³ 'e³ xa³ 'e³ ca²³jmée³. 'Née²³ Dios xi³nu³ rɨ²³táa²³ dsa³ mɨ³rɨ³ji̱i̱'²³te'²³ la'³ 'e³ jua'³ líi²³te'²³ Dios.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 'E³ quie'²³ xi³nu³ jmee³ra'³ 'e³ 'a²³jia'³ dxʉ́²³, jo̱³ rɨ²³cuǿ²³te'²³ quién²na'³, 'a²³'e³ cua̱a̱n²tu² xa³ xi³nu³ rɨ²³tén²na'³ 'e³ sɨ³jí̱i̱n²na'³ la'³, ¿mɨ³naa'³¹? Qui² lii²³ xa³ 'e³ ca²³jmée²ra'³. 'E³ quie'²³ 'née²³ Dios xi³nu³ sɨ³tén²na'³ 'e³ jme'²³te'²³ 'nee'²³, juø'n³ quie'²³ ca²³jmée²ra'³ jmø'n² 'e³ dxʉ́²³.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Qui² ca²³'náan²³ 'nee'²³ Dios 'e³ jua'³ 'née²³ 'e³ rɨ²jmée²ra'³ la'³. Qui² ca²³dxi²³quié̱n² Cristo 'e³ jua'³ 'néen² 'nee'²³. La'³ hua² ca²³cuǿ³ jui³¹ quién²na'³ 'e³ la²³ rɨ²³lí³ juø'² rɨ²qui̱i̱'³¹ra'³ 'ñée².
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 'A²³jia'³ ca²³jmée³ 'ñée² 'e³ xa³ dsoo² quiee'³². 'A²³jia'³ lɨ'³ ca³lʉ́³ u²³sɨ²³júu².
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 'A²³'e³ xa³ 'e³ ca²³jua'³ 'ñée², 'e³ ca²³sɨ'²³ dsa³ 'i³ bi²³ 'ñe'² ca²³lʉ́³ quie'². 'A²³jia'³ ca²³sɨ'²³ dsa³ 'e³ cɨ² rɨ²³ñí²te'²³ 'e³ jmii'³¹ rɨ²³ji̱'²³te'²³ ma²ca¹dxi¹quié̱n² 'ñée². 'E³ quie'²³ ca²³dxén² 'ñée² guoo³ Dios 'i³ jmee²³ 'i'²³ ca³dsaan³² xi² xa³ dsoo² quiee'³² dsa³.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Quie̱³ jmɨ² ŋu² 'ñée² dsoo² quiee³²ra² 'e³ la²³ jú̱n²³ ta̱a̱n²³ 'mo³ cruz. La'³ ca²³jmée³ 'ñée² 'e³ la²³ rɨ²tʉ²³²ra² 'e³ xa³ dsoo² quiée²ra², 'e³ la²³ rɨ²jmee²ra² 'e³ ca³dsaan³². Ca²³la²³xa³ je² ca²³lǿ²³ quie'² la²³'nɨɨ'n³¹ 'e³ ca²³jmín²te'²³. La²³nɨ³ hua² 'e³ ca²³'lóo³ 'óo²ra'³.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Sɨ³caa'n³²na'³ jui³¹ mɨ²jo̱³ 'e³ la²³ sɨ³caa'n³² jui³¹ dsɨɨ³ joo³. 'E³ quie'²³ mɨ³i³guiin³²na'³ co̱'³ rɨ³nɨ²³ quie'² juii² dsɨɨ³ joo³ 'i³ mi³qui³ 'óo²ra'³.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
