1 Jishɔ pɨnɨ nchrā ni pugu ŋkamuʼɔŋ moŋ pa luʼɔ chrà, nchhu nu ŋa,
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “Minthɛ pi māʼaŋ fɨʼɨ Shaʼafuoŋ Po pi ni yichəɨ fùoŋ ŋa a ni mbīri jɨ nɔ nnu tini muuŋ vi yi mimbia.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Ntaoŋ puoŋ fàʼa pi ŋa pugu ghə̄ɨ mɛ̄iŋ ŋgwa pɛ ŋa pi ni ŋgɛ̄ vugu nɔ nnu jɨ tini ghɔ nɛ, ndɔ paʼa pugu lɔ ŋkhwā nɔ thɔ nu.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 “A pɨnɨ nuʼuŋ ntaoŋ pichəɨ puoŋ fàʼa, nchhu nu ŋa, ‘Pəɨ chhu ni pa ŋgwa pɛ ŋa pi gɛ̄ vugu nɛ ŋa ŋ̀kwo pīri maoŋ jɨ nɛ, ŋ̀kwo sho pa fua pugu pa naʼaŋ fuʼu, ti mbīri ŋguoŋ yaoŋ a kāʼo. Pəɨ thɔ lɨʼɨ jɨ tini ghɔ.’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Ndɔ paʼa pugu lɔ ndīi a fhi nnu, nnɛ pugu ghə̄ɨ ni vugu, taʼa yi moŋ nyìeŋ yu, yichəɨ taʼa yi lɨʼɨ taŋ yi.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Pɨgəɨ yi wɛ̄iŋ puoŋ fàʼa pi pighɔ, mfɛ ŋgəʼɨ ni pugu, njwi vugu.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 “Túa fùoŋ ghɔ pɨgɨ, a fɛ gɨ́ ni pa shoogɛ pi pugu ghə̄ɨ njwi ŋgwa pighɔ ŋa pugu ni njwi puoŋ fàʼa pi pighɔ nɛ ndɔ ntūoŋ laʼa muŋu mfɛ shhɛ.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Nnɛ fùoŋ ghɔ chhu ni puoŋ fàʼa pi ŋa, ‘Maoŋ jɨ tini ghɔ kāʼo nɛ, ndɔ paʼa pa ŋgwa ŋa ŋki gɛ̄ nɛ lɔ ŋkāʼo ŋkwaŋ ŋgwa ŋa minthɛ pugu jɨ nɛ.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Nthɛ yie ghɔ, pəɨ taoŋ ŋgə̄ɨ moŋ pa taʼandaoŋ fɨʼɨ ŋgwa ŋa pəɨ yəɨ fɔ nɛ, pəɨ gɛ̄ vugu ŋa pugu thɔ lɨʼɨ jɨ tini ghɔ.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Nnɛ pa puoŋ fàʼa pighɔ ghə̄ɨ moŋ pa shɛndaoŋ, ŋkɨrɨ ŋguoŋ pa ŋgwa ŋa pugu ni njəɨ nɛ, ŋgwa shiʼi pugu pa pi pɨphɨ. Nnɛ nda jɨ tini ghɔ ni ndɨnaoŋ ni ŋgwa ŋa pi gɛ̄ vugu nɛ.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Ndɔ fùoŋ ghɔ gha nthɔ lɨʼɨ yəɨ pa ghaŋ gɛ̀ pighɔ, njəɨ yichəɨ ŋoŋ fɔ paʼa a lɔ mfāʼo ndhwí tini.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 A chhu ghɔ ŋa, ‘Taannu a, ɔ kie pi nɛiŋ maa nii hɛiŋ ki lɔ njiʼi mfāʼo ndhwí tini?’ Ŋoŋ ghɔ pou chrà.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Nnɛ fùoŋ ghɔ chhu ni pa ghaŋ fàʼa lɨʼɨ tini ghɔ ŋa, ‘Pəɨ krao kwò yi pugu pa mbhɔ mi māʼaŋ vi mbhi moŋ njiŋ. Moŋ lɨʼɨ ghɔ, kə̄ɨ pugu pa kru shua shi mbɔ fɔ.’
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 “Nthɛ ŋa pi gɛ̄ ntou ŋgwa, ndɔ ŋguʼɔ ntɛrɛ pi shɨgɛi yi.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Nnɛ pa ŋgwa Farashi nyiaŋ ntáŋ ŋkwaŋ haʼaŋ a nthɛ pugu pīri Jishɔ ŋgwɛ̄iŋ vi ŋkuoŋ chrà yi nɛ.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Ndwɛ shwei vigi, ɔ pīʼi jɔ ŋa? A kāʼo ŋa pi māʼaŋ taashi ni Kaisha ki ŋga?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Jishɔ kwo ji ntáŋ pɨphɨ ŋa pugu ni mfāʼo nɛ, nnɛ nchhu ŋa, “Pəɨ tāʼa nu njwɛʼi a ŋa pa ŋgwa mifɨɨ pei?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Pəɨ nōoŋ ndigi mbɨŋ ŋa pi ghà māʼaŋ taashi nɔ nɛ vəɨ.” Pugu thɔ ni ndigi mbɨŋ ghɔ mbɔ fɨʼɨ mbɨŋ ŋa ŋoŋ ghà mfaʼa taʼa llɛ́ pi pe vi nɔ ghɔ nɛ.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Jishɔ pie vugu ŋa, “Yei thɔ gɔ̌ pugu pa ligi gɔ̌ ŋkuoŋ ghɔ?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Pugu chhu ŋa, “A yi Kaisha.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Pugu ni ŋga njaʼo nnu yei, a ghrāo vugu, pugu lɔllɔ mieŋ vi ŋgə̄ɨ.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Wuʼɔ llɛ́ ghɔ, pa ŋgwa Shadushi ŋa pugu ghà nchhu ŋa ŋoŋ ghà ŋkhu paʼa ndɔ nuʼuŋ ŋkuʼɔ nɛ thɔ njəɨ vi mbie vi ni taʼa pie ŋa,

24 “Masha, Mushi ni nchhu ŋa, ‘Ŋoŋ ŋkhu ki lɔ njiʼi mfāʼo muuŋ, a yiʼi ŋa ndǐŋ vi lɔ̄gɔ ŋkugu yi ghɔ mbhi muuŋ nɔ ghɔ nɔ ligi ndǐŋ vi ŋa a khu nɛ.’
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Ndwɛ khwachəɨ puoŋ pimbia pichəɨ ni mbɔ shɨna pigi mbɔ taʼa puŋ. Fǔoŋ yi ni ndaŋ ŋkhu ki lɔ njiʼi mfāʼo muuŋ, nnɛ mieŋ ŋgwɛ vi ndǐŋ vi lɔ̄gɔ.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Mbra yi, pugu yichəɨ mbra yi wuʼɔ mbɔ pi nɛnnɛ ti ŋguoŋ vugu pi khwachəɨ nuʼuŋ mmɛ.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 A ni ŋga ndugwi, miŋgwɛ ghɔ khu ŋkaa yu.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Ndwɛ, moŋ llɛmbhi ŋa ŋgwa lɛ mbɨnɨ ŋkuʼɔ moŋ gu nɛ, miŋgwɛ ghɔ shi mbɔ pi ŋgwɛ gɔ̌ shɨna pugu pi khwachəɨ pei, nthɛ ŋa ŋguoŋ yugu ghao ni ndaŋ vi?”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Ndɔ Jishɔ khwɛ̄ ni pugu ŋa, “Pəɨ fāaŋ nthɛ ŋa pəɨ lɔ nji Ŋwaʼaŋlɨ Minnwi ndɔ paʼa ndɔ nji njɨ Minnwi.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 A lɛ ŋga mbɔ ndɨɨ ŋa ŋgwa ŋa pugu khu lɛ mbɨnɨ ŋkuʼɔ nɛ, paʼa ŋgwa lɔ ndaŋ ki ŋgə̄ɨ láŋ. Ŋgwa lɛ mbɔ pi nɔ pa ghaŋ ntaoŋ Minnwi po.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 “Ndɔ nthɛ ŋgwa pɛ ŋa pugu shi ndɛ ŋkuʼɔ moŋ gu nɛ, pəɨ lɔ naa mɛ̄iŋ nnu ŋa Minnwi ni nchhu ni pəɨ nɛ:
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘A mmu mbɔ Minnwi Abrahaŋ, mbɔ Minnwi Aiji, mbɔ Minnwi Jakɔ’? A lɔ njiʼi mbɔ pi Minnwi pa ŋgwa khu, a pɔ pi yi ŋgwa maoŋ.”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Yichəɨ taʼa yi shɨna pugu ŋa a ni nji gɨ́ Mushi ŋgaʼa pie Jishɔ ni taʼa pie nɔ mōoŋ nu vi.
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 “Masha, a yəɨ mbɔ mmɛ kɨ̀na ŋa a chaa ŋguoŋ yi moŋ gɨ́ nɛ?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 A chhu ghɔ ŋa, “ ‘Khwā Taathɔ mbɔ Minnwi yɔ ni ŋguoŋ njùʼɔ yɔ ghao, ŋguoŋ nchə̌ɨ yɔ ghao, ni ŋguoŋ kwāʼa nu mɔ ghao.’
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Yei mmɛ kɨ̀na ndɔ mbɔ fǔoŋ yi.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Mbra yi pɔ nɔ yie ghɔ: ‘Khwā taakuo yɔ nɔ haʼaŋ ɔ khwā noŋ yɔ nɛ.’
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.

40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Ndɨɨ ŋa pa ŋgwa Farashi ni ŋkɨrɨ taʼa lɨʼɨ nɛ, Jishɔ pie vugu ni taʼa pie,
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 nchhu nu ŋa, “Pəɨ pīʼi yəɨ ŋa nthɛ Ju ŋa Minnwi Chuʼɔ Ntaoŋ nɔ Ŋkwe nɛ? A pɔ pi muuŋ gɔ̌?”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Jishɔ pie vugu kiʼɛ ŋa, “Ti a ki pɔ pi nɛiŋ kiʼɛ Devi moŋ njɨ Jijwɛ Minnwi mɛ̄iŋ vi ŋa ‘Taathɔ,’ nchhu nu ŋa,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‘Taathɔ ni nchhu ni Taathɔ a ŋa,
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 “Ti nɔ haʼaŋ Devi mɛ̄iŋ vi ni ‘Taathɔ,’ ti a pɨnɨ ŋkie pi nɛiŋ mbɔ pi muuŋ vi?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Kaŋ taʼa ŋoŋ shini ndɔ mfāʼo khwɛ̀ nɔ fɛ nu ghɔ, ndɔ paʼa ndɔ nuʼuŋ mbie vi ni kaŋ taʼa pie jɛ̄ llɛ́ ghɔ.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
