1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:

2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Ye ɛ́ nyɛ kazɛlwom bot ɛ mɛsa mɛ, bɛ kɛdjóo bot étɛp ɛdɛ edee ɛbyoŋ ɛ ɛba. Tin, bot ɛ tak ààpakakwyɛl ɛzyɛ.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Bhii yenek, nyɛ eebaazɛlwom bɛdhiiti bot ɛ mɛsa mɛ é yak kɔkɔ nɛ bhaadal náá, bɛ kɛlɛɛ bot náá: “Edee moo ɛ́ ndjaaba. Mɛ eezegó engɔmbɛ nɛ etaa bam na mɛdɛl. Esa djas moo ɛ́ koobela. Dha dɛka ɛbyoŋ.”
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Tin, bot ɛ nadjóoaa ɔ, ààkobis-bisak, mot nɛ mot naaghɛɛ yɛ nyel, tɔ́ mɛze mɛ. Nwyak tɔ́ pɛ pyeeb'ɛ, nwyak tɔ́ pɛ nyɛ di ebɔmsa esa bɛ ɛ.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Bak bot zokazɛmɛt bot ɛ mɛsa mɛ kukuma yenɔk nalwom ɔ, duma bɛ é mɛnyel nɛ mɛbin, bɛ ɛ́ boozɛgó bɛ.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Mɛkoozi zokazɛkpaa lyem: nyɛ ɛ́ bookazɛlwom esodja bɛ, bɛ gó bot ɛ nagó bot bɛ ɔ. Bhii tak, da bɛ ɛ́ dik eghaada bɔɔ.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Bhii tak, nyɛ eezɛlɛɛ bot ɛ mɛsa mɛ náá: “Edee e ɛbyoŋ ɛ ɛba moo ɛ́ koobela. Bot ɛ djóoaa bɛ zɛdɛ ɔ, ààkɔa nɛ ɛdɛ edee e tak.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;

9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.

10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 «Tin, mɛkoozi eezɛni tɔ koo tak, étɛp nyɛ neekabee bot ɛ zyɛ zɛdɛ edee ɛbyoŋ ɔ. É di'enek, nyɛ kabee kuku bot ɛ́ dhiiti mot ààbɛ nɛ kaad di egoka nɛ ɛbɔtaa é mɛbyoŋ ɛ.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Nyɛ ɛ́ boodji nyɛ náá: “Mɔɔ sɔ'am, wɔ ni wak dáa, wɔy ààbɛ nɛ kaad bot di egoka nɛ ɛbɔt étɛp ɛ ɛbyoŋ ɛ?” Tin, mot'enɔk kadi ɛ́, ààbɔɔza kiya mɛkoozi menɔk.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Tinaak mɛkoozi eezɛlwom bot ɛ mɛsa mɛ náá: “Mɛtka mot'enɔk, da bi ɛ́ kɔl nyɛ mɛko nɛ mɛmbɔ. Bhii tak, da bi ɛ́ mwas nyɛ pɛ kel, tɔ ghooghom. Penek aadi ɛ́ mɛgwyɛ nɛ ɛkwaal ɛ mɛtsok.”»
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Yezu eebaazɛbil náá: «Ye ɛ́, etɛɛ náá, bot ɛbuɛpe ɛ́ waadjóoaa. Tin, bot aasɛ́ɛaa ɔ ààdyeebabu.»
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 EFalizyɛ zokakɛboma étɛp ɛdjek dáa bɛ di egoka nɛ ɛsa, bɛ neekwyesal Yezu nɛ mɛdjin étɛp nyɛ neebela ndjɛ kɔ mɛkpa mɛ ɛmet ɛ.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Lɛɛa bis, tɔ yɔ egeka dáa wɔ di ebee ɛ: etsi bina lɛɛ ɛ́ náá, bot tuud lapo nɛ mɛkoozi Sezaad, mena tuudka ohoo mena nàtuudka?»
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Dáa Yezu nadi egu mbee mɛpek mɔɔ ɛ, nyɛ ɛ́ boozɛbɔɔza nɛ nɔɔ náá: «Bot ɛ mɛdjhaaz pɛ ɛko, bhimis pɛ si! Étɛp yé bi di ekwyɛl ɛwa mɛ tɔ mɛbhowal?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Pookolyaalka mɛ falanga wat bot di etuud lapo nɛ yɛ ɛ, étɛp mɛ neebee.» Wɔ gwaa, bɛ zɛzyɛ nyɛ nɛ mɔɔ falanga wat.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Bhii tak, Yezu ɛ́ boozɛdji bɛ náá: «Kɔ ghwooz'ak, ye lulaa ɛbhwoob ɛ zɛ? Ye ɛ́ din ɛ zɛ di kwyala kɔ tak?»
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Bot binɔk eezɛbɔɔza nɛ Yezu náá: «Ye ɛ́ yɛ Sezaad.» Tin, Yezu ɛ́ boozɛke nɛ nɔɔ náá: «Djɛka mɛkoozi Sezaad sa di náá ye ɛ́ yɛ Sezaad ɛ, da bi ɛ́ djɛ Zɛɛb sa di náá, ye ɛ́ yɛ Zɛɛb ɛ.»
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Gwaka bɛ nagwak eyala ɛ Yezu deenek ɛ, ye nabɛ ɛ́, bɛ naadyeebadjoka ɛlyelɛpe. Bhii tak, bɛ boozɛnɔɔ mɛnyel, tɔ́ yɔbɔ.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Dwoo tak wat, bɛdhiiti eSaduseɛ zokazyɛ pɛ daa Yezu. ESaduseɛ ɛ́ bot ɛ di ke náá, bot aanàgom bhis ɛsyee ɔ. Bɛ eezɛdji kiya,

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Bela tin, tɔ lɔɔg'es, ye nabɛ ɛ́ nɛ bɔn botom ɛtɛn nɛ bɛbá. Mot mɛgwyak eezɛba, dáa nyɛ kagwyɛ ɛ́, nyɛ kalik kus myɛl nadi ààbɛ nɛ mɔn ɔ nɛ dhyeeb.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Mot nabɔɔba nyɛ ɛ́ kanɔɔ moma bhii koŋ'ɛ. Nyɛy eebaazɛkpaa nɛ mɛsyee, gwyɛ, ààlik mɔn. Tyee wat nɛ mot nabaazyɛ bhis yenɔk ɔ. Tin, bɔɔ djas bɛtɛn nɛ bɛbá kadi ɛ́, ààbya nɛ moma yenɔk.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Bhis ɛsyee ɛ bɔɔ djas, moma eebaazɛkpaa nɛ mɛsyee, gwyɛ.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Dwoo bot aagom bhis ɛsyee ɛ, moma yenɔk aakadi mwaa zɛ pak bɔɔ bɛtɛn nɛ bɛbá? Etɛɛ náá, bɔɔ djas nabɛ ɛ́ botom bɛ!»
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Yezu eezɛbɔɔza nɛ nɔɔ náá: «Bi ɛ́ tɔ ɛdjak, etɛɛ náá, bi ààmɛt ɛnyɔɛpe sa di kwyala tɔ mɛkana mɛ Zɛɛb ɛ. Bi ààgu ghwyil ɛ Zɛɛb!
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Etɛɛ náá, é ghɛŋ bot aagom bhis ɛsyee ɛ, botom nɛ boa aanàkwaabaabael. Boa pe aanàni mɛba, etɛɛ náá, bot djas aadi ɛ́, dáa efofop tɔ gwoo.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Dum nɛ tɛp ɛgom bhis ɛsyee, bi dinaa ààpaalaa sa Zɛɛb lɛɛ kɔ ɛsu ɛ tak ɛ? Nyɛ naake ɛ́:
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 “Ye ɛ́ mam, Zɛɛb ɛ Abalaam, yɛ Izak, nɛ Zɛɛb ɛ Zakɔɔb.”» Yezu eebaazɛke náá: «Zɛɛb tok Zɛɛb bot ɛ zegwyɛ ɔ. Nyɛ ɛ́ Zɛɛb bot ɛ di nɛ tsik ɔ.»
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Dhiiti lyoel etsi e Zɛɛb naazɛkwyɛl ɛbhoal Yezu. Nyɛy nɛ nɛ náá:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 «Lyoel, yaa tsi di edhaa etsi djas?»
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Yezu kabɔɔza nɛ nɛ náá: «“Wɔ goka ɛ́, wɔ kwyɛl Ghɛŋ Zɛɛb'ɔ, nɛ lyem'ɔ djas, nɛ sisim'ɔ djas, nɛ ɛtselal ɛ lɔ djas.”
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Yenek ɛ́ di boo tsi. Ye ɛ́ tsi di dhaa etsi djas ɛ.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Gwaka tsi di ebɔɔba yii mɛkɛn ɛ: “Wɔ goka ɛ́, wɔ kwyɛl sɔ'ɔ mot dáa wɔ di ekwyɛl nyel'ɔ ɛmet ɛ.”
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Etsi ɛ Moiiz djas nɛ mɛlyo mɛ bɛngoolel ɛ mɛkpa ɛ Zɛɛb pyet ɛ́ kɔ etsi binek ebá.»
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Efalizyɛ nadi ɛ́, tɔ yɔbɔ zɛɛga. Yezu ɛ́ boozɛdji bɛ náá:
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 «Tɔ yebɔ egeka, Mɛsia ɛ́ zɛ?» Bɛ ɛ́ boozɛbɔɔza nɛ nɛ náá: «Nyɛ ɛ́ dha ɛ Dhavid.»
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 É di'enek, Yezu ɛ́ boozɛke nɛ nɔɔ náá: «Ye nakosa dáa náá, Dhavid nɛ ghwyil Sisim na Dɛɛ djóo nyɛ “Ghɛŋ”? Etɛɛ náá, Dhavid naake náá:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 “Ghɛŋ Zɛɛb nake nɛ Ghɛŋ'am ɛ náá:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 «Yɛ bɛ náá, Dhavid nyɛ ɛmet naadjóo nyɛ “Ghɛŋ” ɔɔ, é yaa tyɛ Mɛsia aakabaadi dha yɛ?»
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Bɔɔ djas moo tin «kup», ààbɛ nɛ ɛkpa ɛlóo bhis étɛp djas Yezu nalii ɛ. Kana dwoo ɛlenek, bot nabɛ ɛ́ ààkadjheebal ɛdji nyɛ mɛdjin.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
