6 Ǹloŋ mə a tswe a mûm àŋwàꞌanə Nwì mə,

13 Ǹloŋ ŋkwi atu Mmàꞌàmbi, nɨ̀ ka nyuꞌunə bə̂ bɨ̀tsɨ̀m bìi bɨ ləə mə bɨ̀ ka nsaꞌa ghuu aà; kə̀ a bə Kaisa yìi à kɔ̀ꞌɔ ntsɨrə aa,

16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Tâ nɨ̀ ka ntwoŋ ɨkum a nu ŋù ǹtsɨ̀m, ŋka ŋkɔŋə nɨ bɨ̀lɨ̂m buu bìi mə bu bo bii Nwî aa, ŋka mbɔꞌɔ nɨ Nwî, ŋ̀ka ntwoŋə nɨ ɨkùm a nu Kaisa.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.

20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Ǹloŋ mə Nwìŋgɔ̀ŋ à lɛ ntwoŋə ghuu aa a nɨ̂ àjàŋə annù yuà, àjàŋ yìi mə Kristo à lɛ nyə ŋgɨꞌɨ a atu bù aa, à lɛ ndɨ̀ꞌɨ̀ aa alènsə̀ mə nɨ̀ tɨgə nyoŋə nɨ̂ ɨ̀bùꞌù mɨkòrə̂ ji.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Kaa à lɛ ŋkɨꞌɨ annû tsu fânsə̀, kaa ànnǔ mbweꞌesə̀ yî tsu a waꞌà ghu ntsù kɨ mfɛꞌɛ.

23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Kristo yu mbɔŋ à lɛ mbèꞌe ɨnnù jî bɨ̂ jiꞌinə̀ a ɨbɨɨ nu yu a ati bàŋnə̀ bàŋnə̀, mə bìꞌinə̀ kwo a mûm ɨ̀nnù jî bɨ, mbaŋnə ntswe ntɨ̀ɨ̀ a ŋka ŋghɨ̀rə̂ ɨ̀nnù jî tsìnə̀. Àjàŋə mə bɨ lɛ nnɨŋ ɨlaꞌa ghu nu aa, bɨ lɛ mbàŋnə̀ ŋ̀ghurə aà ghuu.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Ǹloŋ mə nɨ̀ lɛ mbə aa tsiꞌì tsǒ mbinjə̀rə̀ jìi ɨ lɛɛ̀ m̀bwɛ, tsɨ̂tsɔ̀ŋ nɨ̀ bù mə̂ m̀bɨɨ fu a mbô Ǹtsèèmbi, bo bɨ̀ a mbo yu wa yìi mə a bɛ mɨ̂ntɨɨ̀ muu aà.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
