1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “Epes sogawis nomona maol Godi nope Dembinai nugumafias siꞌi anona king dembinai itapnai. Nogamana ananinai naꞌi nogaoꞌwa akoꞌw, eaꞌ king anamba nandaꞌ anis gwaꞌaisi luꞌwasi.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Ama nemaf afamba sogaꞌasafi anen nasapaꞌ amam amamba mandaꞌ maola anini mafeꞌ mofalai epes isimba fowaꞌ nogofalasi ma sogafiꞌmai gwaꞌaisi isimba. Owaꞌ sandaiwaꞌma sogafiꞌi.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 “Eaꞌ anen nasapaꞌ anom wapani mandaꞌ maola anini motambel mafeꞌ, eaꞌ naꞌipam naꞌi, ‘Ipaꞌ foꞌmago epes isimba aeꞌ eaꞌ andandepas sagapani eaꞌ piꞌipas naꞌamba piꞌi, “Pemeꞌ, aeꞌ andandomba gwaꞌaimi aeꞌami eaꞌ. 4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 “Owaꞌ amom ukup iwanipa momeꞌefa mogafeꞌ eaꞌ mandambema mandafeꞌ daindai ma maol amamini. Anona nafeꞌ aof, anona nafeꞌma bisnis ananisi.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.

6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.

7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;

9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.

10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Esis sape eaꞌ dembinai king nawis nomona nigatilis. Eaꞌ nati anin epen atitin, ina nala klos sagalasa nemaf afamba dasoꞌamaifii, owaꞌ.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Eaꞌ king naꞌipana naꞌi, ‘Alipunai, deiꞌ maina inaꞌ owaꞌ nila klos isimba sandasoꞌamaisi nifiꞌi niwisi naꞌaea?’ Owaꞌ, anen ina naꞌi anif basef, owaꞌatin.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 “Eaꞌ king naꞌipa amom mandaꞌ maoli naꞌi, ‘Ipaꞌ piwasiꞌ lagof boꞌwagaha epen inimba pikwahin nefeꞌ niwis nepe akot andoꞌ. Akot atamba atiasi anin nelef nendaꞌ nalelef tilili talalaꞌ kwapeteꞌ nepe.’”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Eaꞌ Jisas naꞌipas naꞌi, “Ahoꞌ, God nogofala epes hiasi naꞌamba atin siꞌi king anamba nandaꞌas. Anen nofala hiasi, apaꞌ owaꞌ nandandepa atona atin sufiꞌi suwis sope sogalomana.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;

17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?

19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.

20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?

21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.

22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 “Eaꞌ owamana nandatuꞌunai wapani nandaꞌas naꞌamba atin, eaꞌ anona nandatuꞌumi nasoꞌakw mandaꞌas naꞌamba atin mafeꞌ mafeꞌma matagama owagufunai akutainai.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Amom amamba ambipim eaꞌ mandagaꞌ atin hiꞌandalam. Ama main, nemataꞌw wauluꞌmam kwagiꞌmam kwagiꞌ kwagaꞌ.
27 And last of all the woman also died.

28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?

29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:

32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Eaꞌ anona nagaloma amomi nogogawa muꞌuli Godi naꞌi nogwamba Jisasa nigaꞌi anif basef owaꞌ andeandeꞌa ma nondaꞌmana basef sogowaꞌana siꞌi sogapaloꞌ agof anembeh. Eaꞌ nahaliꞌana naꞌi,
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 “Dembinai Tisa, muꞌuli Godi mamahina luꞌwin nikilaꞌ muꞌuli daian hiani nape nagaliꞌi?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Eaꞌ Jisas naꞌipana naꞌi, “Nomonas ipeꞌisi sehafel Dembinai God ipeꞌinai sisilana naꞌamba. Ukup ipeꞌipi pipilana hiꞌindalep, peseꞌana ambagufi nelelemb ipeꞌisi pendasoꞌanas hiꞌindalasa Dembinai God atona.
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.

38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.

39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.

41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:

42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Eaꞌ nahaliꞌam naꞌi, “Deiꞌ maina Ambal buꞌunai Godi nagasaꞌma nomonas Deviti ma nagaꞌi Krais anen Dembinai? Devit fowaꞌ naꞌi,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‘Dembinai God naꞌipa Dembinai aeꞌani naꞌi,
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Devit fowaꞌ nofala Krais naꞌi Dembinai. Isimba atis deiꞌ Krais ina aman atona falafunai, owaꞌ. Anen Dembinai.”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?

46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
