¹ The transgression of the wicked man says within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.

¹ A transgressão do ímpio diz no íntimo do meu coração: Não há temor de Deus perante os seus olhos.

² For he flatters himself in his own eyes, that his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.

² Porque em seus olhos se lisonjeia, até que a sua iniqüidade se descubra ser detestável.

³ The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has ceased to be wise [and] to do good.

³ As palavras da sua boca são malícia e engano; deixou de entender e de fazer o bem.

⁴ He devises iniquity upon his bed. He sets himself in a way that is not good. He does not abhor evil.

⁴ Projeta a malícia na sua cama; põe-se no caminho que não é bom; não aborrece o mal.

⁵ Thy loving kindness, O LORD, is in the heavens, thy faithfulness to the skies.

⁵ A tua misericórdia, Senhor, está nos céus, e a tua fidelidade chega até às mais excelsas nuvens.

⁶ Thy righteousness is like the mountains of God. Thy judgments are a great deep. O LORD, thou preserve man and beast.

⁶ A tua justiça é como as grandes montanhas; os teus juízos são um grande abismo. Senhor, tu conservas os homens e os animais.

⁷ How precious is thy loving kindness, O God, and the sons of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.

⁷ Quão preciosa é, ó Deus, a tua benignidade, pelo que os filhos dos homens se abrigam à sombra das tuas asas.

⁸ They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house, and thou will make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

⁸ Eles se fartarão da gordura da tua casa, e os farás beber da corrente das tuas delícias;

⁹ For with thee is the fountain of life. In thy light we shall see light.

⁹ Porque em ti está o manancial da vida; na tua luz veremos a luz.

¹⁰ O continue thy loving kindness to those who know thee, and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

¹⁰ Estende a tua benignidade sobre os que te conhecem, e a tua justiça sobre os retos de coração.

¹¹ Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of sinners drive me away.

¹¹ Não venha sobre mim o pé dos soberbos, e não me mova a mão dos ímpios.

¹² There are the workers of iniquity fallen. They are thrust down, and shall not be able to rise.

¹² Ali caem os que praticam a iniqüidade; cairão, e não se poderão levantar.
