1 Jesús mzelo mzaa kwent nabix lo re xaa, nu nzhé xaa:
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 —Nal za na tub kwent. Lee pa nabeyy Dios nak mod tub rey xaa mle yalni cheen yalnchelya cheen xgann xaa.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Nu mxaal xaa re xmos xaa yichezh re xaa nakladiizh yiid lo yalni, per nanet re xaa yiid.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Mbare xaa mxaal stub naz xmos xaa, nu nzhé xaa lo xaa: “Gwa gu nu guzh gu lo re xaa nakladiizh yiid lo yalni, listla na, ngulola mbit na re xngoon na nu noka re ma msechaa na, ngulola mdexkwaa na rese kwaan gaw re xaa yiid lo yalni, zee nzhaal yiid re xaa lo yalni”.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.

5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.

6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.

7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;

9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.

10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.

11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Zee nzhé xaa lo xaa: “Mig, ¿xomod mzeeb lu nee nu nanakt lu ler kwaan nak re xaa nya pa nchelya xaa?” Per lee xaa namkebt nik tub lan wdizh.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.

13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;

17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?

19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.

20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?

21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.

22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.

24 —Maestr, Ches mkee lo Xkyech Dios nzhé: “Chelee tub xaabyi, xaa mchelya ngut nu nik tub xinn xaa namlaat xaa, zee lee wech xaa nzhaal chelya kwaan xngwnaa xaa ngut, zee kano xngwnaa xaa mad, zee naluxt dii cheen wech xaa”. [Dt. 25:5]
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.

26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.

28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Jesús mkeb lo xaa nzhé:
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Gorna lee re xaa ngut roban, re xaabyi nu re ngwnaa nachelyatra xaa, nel gak xaa mod re mandad cheen Dios, re xaa nzhi yiba.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Nal nii na lo gu, wli roban re xaa ngut. ¿Che zer lab gu mer kwaan nzhé Dios:
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 “Lee na nak Dios cheen Abraham, Dios cheen Chak, Dios cheen Kob”? [Ex. 3:6] ¡Nu Dios nanakt Dios cheen re xaa ngut, lee Dios nak Dios cheen re xaa mban!
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 Gorna mbin re myet kwaane, mdedyall doo xaa mbin xaa kwaan mlu Jesús.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se

35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 —¿Xana kwaan mkee Ches nak mas kwaan non lo rese kwaan mnabeyy Dios le be?
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Jesús nzhé:
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Kwaane nak kwaan mas non lo rese wdizh.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Nu lee stuba nak mer lal kwaan kwaane: “Nzhaal kela lu wechxinn lu kwentaxa nkela lu lu”. [Lv. 19:18]
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Chop wdizh ne nak kwaan nzelo xan rese ley nu re kwaan nzhé re xaa mzaa kwent kwaan nzhé Dios lo lee xaa yilo.
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.

41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 Nu lee Jesús mnabdizh lo re xaa nu nzhé xaa:
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Jesús mkeb nzhé:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 Dios, Xaa Nabeyy rese kwaan,
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 ¿Xomod nzho mod yaad xaa dii cheen David nu leeka David mlole xaa: “Xaa Nabeyy lo na”?
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Nik tub xaa nyent mod keb nik stub lan wdizh lo xaa. Nu mzheb re xaa nabdizhra xaa lo Jesús zhe zee.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
