¹ A Song, a Psalm of David. Prepared is my heart, O God, I sing, yea, I sing praise, also my honour.

¹ Meu coração está firme em ti, ó Deus; por isso te cantarei louvores com todo o meu ser.

² Awake, psaltery and harp, I awake the dawn.

² Despertem, lira e harpa! Quero acordar o amanhecer com a minha canção.

³ I thank Thee among peoples, O Jehovah, And I praise Thee among the nations.

³ Eu te darei graças, S enhor , no meio dos povos; cantarei louvores a ti entre as nações.

⁴ For great above the heavens [is] Thy kindness, And unto the clouds Thy truth.

⁴ Pois o teu amor é mais alto que os céus; a tua fidelidade chega até as nuvens.

⁵ Be Thou exalted above the heavens, O God, And above all the earth Thy honour.

⁵ Sê exaltado, ó Deus, acima dos mais altos céus; que a tua glória brilhe sobre toda a terra!

⁶ That Thy beloved ones may be delivered, Save [with] Thy right hand, and answer us.

⁶ Agora, livra teu povo amado; responde-nos e salva-nos por teu poder.

⁷ God hath spoken in His holiness: I exult, I apportion Shechem, And the valley of Succoth I measure,

⁷ Deus, em seu santuário, prometeu: “Com alegria dividirei Siquém e medirei o vale de Sucote.

⁸ Mine [is] Gilead, mine [is] Manasseh, And Ephraim [is] the strength of my head, Judah [is] my lawgiver,

⁸ Gileade é minha, e também Manassés; Efraim é meu capacete, e Judá, meu cetro.

⁹ Moab [is] a pot for my washing, Upon Edom I cast my shoe, Over Philistia I shout habitually.

⁹ Moabe é minha bacia de lavar; limparei os pés sobre Edom e darei um grito de triunfo sobre a Filístia”.

¹⁰ Who doth bring me in to the fenced city? Who hath led me unto Edom?

¹⁰ Quem me levará à cidade fortificada? Quem me guiará até Edom?

¹¹ Hast not Thou, O God, cast us off? And Thou goest not out, O God, with our hosts!

¹¹ Acaso nos rejeitaste, ó Deus? Não marcharás mais com nossos exércitos?

¹² Give to us help from adversity, And vain is the salvation of man.

¹² Ajuda-nos contra nossos inimigos, pois todo socorro humano é inútil.

¹³ In God we do mightily, And He doth tread down our adversaries!

¹³ Com o auxílio de Deus, realizaremos grandes feitos, pois ele pisará os nossos inimigos.
