¹ A Song, a Psalm of David. Prepared is my heart, O God, I sing, yea, I sing praise, also my honour.

¹ Preparado está o meu coração, ó Deus; cantarei e darei louvores até com a minha glória.

² Awake, psaltery and harp, I awake the dawn.

² Despertai, saltério e harpa; eu mesmo despertarei ao romper da alva.

³ I thank Thee among peoples, O Jehovah, And I praise Thee among the nations.

³ Louvar-te-ei entre os povos, Senhor, e a ti cantarei louvores entre as nações.

⁴ For great above the heavens [is] Thy kindness, And unto the clouds Thy truth.

⁴ Porque a tua benignidade se estende até aos céus, e a tua verdade chega até às mais altas nuvens.

⁵ Be Thou exalted above the heavens, O God, And above all the earth Thy honour.

⁵ Exalta-te sobre os céus, ó Deus, e a tua glória sobre toda a terra.

⁶ That Thy beloved ones may be delivered, Save [with] Thy right hand, and answer us.

⁶ Para que sejam livres os teus amados, salva-nos com a tua destra, e ouve-nos.

⁷ God hath spoken in His holiness: I exult, I apportion Shechem, And the valley of Succoth I measure,

⁷ Deus falou na sua santidade; eu me regozijarei; repartirei a Siquém, e medirei o vale de Sucote.

⁸ Mine [is] Gilead, mine [is] Manasseh, And Ephraim [is] the strength of my head, Judah [is] my lawgiver,

⁸ Meu é Gileade, meu é Manassés; e Efraim a força da minha cabeça, Judá o meu legislador.

⁹ Moab [is] a pot for my washing, Upon Edom I cast my shoe, Over Philistia I shout habitually.

⁹ Moabe a minha bacia de lavar; sobre Edom lançarei o meu sapato, sobre a Filístia jubilarei.

¹⁰ Who doth bring me in to the fenced city? Who hath led me unto Edom?

¹⁰ Quem me levará à cidade forte? Quem me guiará até Edom?

¹¹ Hast not Thou, O God, cast us off? And Thou goest not out, O God, with our hosts!

¹¹ Porventura não serás tu, ó Deus, que nos rejeitaste? E não sairás, ó Deus, com os nossos exércitos?

¹² Give to us help from adversity, And vain is the salvation of man.

¹² Dá-nos auxílio para sair da angústia, porque vão é o socorro da parte do homem.

¹³ In God we do mightily, And He doth tread down our adversaries!

¹³ Em Deus faremos proezas, pois ele calcará aos pés os nossos inimigos.
